Inter-LOK IL8489001 Two Cabinet and Three-Shelf Storage System

Bought 8 of these cabinets a year ago for the garage. Very easy to snap together and they look good. We have not overloaded the shelves but both the cabinet shelves and the long between-cabinet add-on shelves are now sagging. So I can't say I would buy these again.

Seem to be expensive for what they are, but are very heavy guage steel. They work very well with the Akro bins and are probably cheaper in the long run than buying or building individual shelves. Also, you can reconfigure your bins in hundreds of configurations using these panels. Seem to be very high quality. I will probably purchase more as I need more bin space.

South Shore 5159730 Reveal Collection Bookcase, Chocolate

I bought this bookshelf from another seller to match my South Shore City Life TV Stand. I love the asymmetric openings and it is the perfect size for my space. I like that it is made from environmentally friendly materials at a factory in Mexico (unlike so much other affordable furniture, which comes from China). This shelf feels solid and well made once it is assembled; I'm not afraid it is going to fall apart or fall over. It does come with a safety strap to attach it to your wall if that is a concern.

Assembly was fairly easyI did it by myself (with a little "help" from my 4 year old) in just about an hour and a half, but figuring out how to hammer the pieces together without damaging them was a little challenging at first. I used a regular hammer wrapped in a few layers of towel, but a rubber mallet probably would have worked better.

My biggest issue and the reason I only rated this three stars is that there were a number of manufacturing defects. All shipping materials were intact, but corners of the long boards were dinged and had small chunks missing, exposing bare wood; there were "dents" that had no exposed wood but are still very noticable; and the top and bottom boards were warped just enough to be difficult to attach. Trying to return this once it was unpacked would have been a nightmare, and fortunately none of the damaged corners ended up on the front side of the shelf so it looks great in my living room.

I found this on sale and paid just over $100 inluding tax and shipping. It is difficult to find a large 'modern' looking bookshelf in this price range, and I am happy with my purchase. If I had paid closer to the list price of $175 I would have been disappointed at having a less-than-perfect item.

This unit is a good value. Not great quality, but good for the price. All pieces arrived in good condition and it was very easy to assemble. It looks nice in my home office and gives me a lot of extra space to store books, magazines, etc. Just be aware, it is one of those units where all "non-visible" surfaces are unfinished. It is assembled in two sections and the cardboard faux-wood back pieces are what stabilize the unit once they're nailed on. It seems sturdy enough for my needs, but just be aware not to expect more.

It's a cheaply made shelf and you have to put it all together from scratch, but we were looking for a temporary unit and this one fits the bill.

Attractively finished, easy to assemble, solidly made. Even has wood grain tape circles to cover the screw heads, so you don't see them.

The 24-inch width was a perfect fit for the space we had. I never knew how hard it is to find this size bookcase!

...could have been better. Stacking this case the way presented in the picture would have required a brace of some kind for the wall. I still didn't want to take a chance on the thing toppling over, I opted to keep both case sets side by side. Since there wasn't a top covering for the second book case (it was meant to be stacked), I had one cut for me at Lowes Hardware store from particle board. I'm going to stain it the same color as the book case. Apart from that, I'm pretty satisfied. The case holds all my books without a wooble. Be sure to properly secure the cardboard backing to the case with regularly placed nails (included) before you load on the books.

....UPDATE! (8-30-2012):

Following up on my initial review, I decided to stack the book case after all. I placed some wood slats under the case for hard support on my carpet. It works! I didn't even have to bolt the top case to the wall or socket wrench the units together. The entire setup leans back slightly towards the wall, which is fine. There is no sliding or wobbling of the upper unit of shelves; the weight of the books adds stability. I now have more room...and don't I know it.

This bookcase came yesterday. Took about 30 minutes to put together. The back is cardboard, so you end up with a kind of funny looking back, but the manufacturer provides these great stickers to put over the nails and everything. Looks great from a few feet away. This case fit nearly my entire library from 4 years as a lit major in college (no small library) and seems very sturdy. My only concern is tipping, but a bracket for the wall was included, my drywall just isn't very sturdy and wouldn't hold. I put an extra book under the front side for added stability and that seems to be working great.

Every part from shelves, support pieces, and screws were clearly identified by a unique part number. AsiaEXP put each kind of screw and washer in a plastic sheet that has individual pockets that are clearly labeled, and map directly back to one the steps used for the assemble.

Yes, we had enough screws' I could validate that I had used the proper number of screws when I noticed that after I completed each step, there was one extra screw or washer.

The instructions were clear as crystal; just one sheet, front and back. Sort of like painting by the numbers. Follow the sequence of steps that AsiaEXP provides and bingo, you have assembled a very sturdy attractive TV stand that looks just like the picture.

Media Storage Tower-76" Tall Double

The product is easily put together by anyone with limited assembly experience. I bought some book shelves from a different company during the same period, and found by comparison that the media storage rack was so much easier to assemble. The instructions are great, the pre-assembly was done thoughtfully on the part of the company, and a single person can easily assemble it without much difficulty in very little time. Pieces fit easily and I could assemble it without causing damage to the product (because of unclear directions, putting things together backwards, or having to force pieces together due to poor manufacturing, etc.). While this media rack is a bit more expensive than others, I do think the quality, durability and attractiviness off-set the price. I now have four of these and will definitely seek this product out when my collection demands it.

The quality of this item is very very questionable. I bought one of these units years ago and had problems with the shelves. They bent with the weight of the CDs and I had to buy glass shelves.

Because of lack of alternatives and expecting they had corrected that problem I just bought another unit. Because there is nobody else in the market, they didn't do anything to correct this problem. The same quality issue. I just came back from the glass store where I ordered 24 glass shelves.

Shame on the maker of this piece of furniture.

Unfortunately there are no other alternatives for CD storage for 1,500 CDs. If you have a CDs collection and need storage you don't have much to chose but be prepared to spend another 300 bucs on glass or real wood shelves.

Very easy to put together. Out of the box and in use within 10 mins. Can not say enough about how easy it is.

My only problem with the reversible colors is that if you want to put one on each side of a media center, you cant have them the same color. Each media tower has to be reversed because of the way they were designed. Its a very unfortunate design flaw/overlook.

Maybe I am missing something but I dont think so.

It was easy to put together and it's a nice little shelf for under a desk, but the plywood has already split in the back of the shelf so I know it won't last long term, but for the price it fills the job I need it for at the moment. For DVDs, BluRays it works nicely, but the DVDs and BluRays don't fit standing up which was a bummer.

I purchased two of these along with 2 of another model. Together they fit my closet perfectly and I was able to organize my messy closet. They arrived quick and complete and are very solid.

This is very good product overall and it is well priced.

It is easy to assemble. The whole assembly took less than 10 minutes. It is quite sturdy, but beware that it is not designed to take a lot weight (my guess would be about 20 lb safely, 30 absolute maximum.) After the assembly, I drilled two circular holes on the back-board to bring in and out power chords and other wires. This unit now houses a power-surge protector, a cable-tv signal booster, a gigabit ethernet switch, an external hard disk, and a wireless router sitting atop. It was good to tidy up all that electronic junk that was sitting on my table.

This unit is stackable, and it comes with the hardware to do so if you desire. I did not take advantage of that feature (yet). I think two of these stacked on top could be good, three may be OK. If you want to stack-up four or more, you would be better off (both in price and in structural strength) by buying a tall and stronger unit instead of multiple cubes.

I happend to trip over this product while looking for a nightstand for my bed. This seems to be perfect because the top of my mattress is only 17 inches off the ground, and the honey color is the closest I can get to match my bed frame. I got two and they work just fine. It was easy to assemble.

However, do not feel that you can just karate chop this and expect it withstand breakage. It does say that it is light and has a hollow-core.

This is an excellent wine rack. I have a wine review blog (The Reverse Wine Snob) and as such receive tons of samples that I need to store somewhere. This wine rack solved the problem very economically -really it can't be beat for the price. And a huge plus is that it actually uses real screws! No IKEA furniture here...all the holes are pre-drilled so it's simple to install but I just find it so refreshing that it uses real screws, so much more sturdy that way. Definitely recommend this wine rack!

Building it took a half hour; I recommend a drill for the screwdriver as driving the wood screws will take some work. Looks fine (rustic!), highly functional.

When I opened the box I was concerned that assembly would be a pain, but to my surprise it was quite easy. The wood is simple, unfinished wood, but certainly nice enough for my wine cellar. It is sturdy and holds wine bottles nicely. There was a couple of cracks in the wood, but not of concern structurely. I recommend this product for locations that are not seen, it is not fancy.

Great value on this wood wine rack I bought through Amazon and am using for my cellar. Rustic but good wood used and fast shipping. hardware provided is very good unusual for something sold for a value solution. Minor nits wood pegs to join top and bottom racks were a little too long a quick cut solved that problem. Need to be careful about knots at the end of the racks that can be weak spots if they crack, but supplier immediately offered to replace the offending piece with excellent customer service.

I was looking for a wine rack and decided to take a chance on this one. What a great surprise it turned out to be! I had a piece damaged on delivery, but the seller sent me one right away after contacting them.

I ended up staining the entire wine rack and it looks fantastic. It took some time to complete, but well worth it. I have over 120 bottles on this rack and it is extremely sturdy. You cannot go wrong with this for the value.

Putting it together took less than 30 minutes. Worth every penny.

Oeuf Classic Collection Mini Library

I had been looking at this shelving unit for quite some time. The design is gorgeous and I love the colors. I finally ordered it from Amazon it took about two weeks to get to me. There were about 20 wood pieces and a hundred screws and bolts. It took me over two hours to get the shelves together (you need two people) and another hour of extreme frustration to get one of the swinging doors on. The second swinging door was utterly hopeless to screw on straight and I am pretty good at putting stuff together. So, I now have this unit missing a door which is such a drag but it looks okay. Again, the design is very pretty. But the hassle to put it together and the lack of a second working swinging door makes this a RISKY PURCHASE. I'm not sure I'd buy it again in hindsight.

We have several Oeuf furniture pieces (armoire, twin bed and these shelves). The shelves, hands down, are my favorite. As all Oeuf pieces go, they are well made, and the design can really suit any decor. They are relatively easy to assemble (I did them myself), super durable (think tiny children banging down toys), and wonderfully accessible for the kids. My one-year-old daughter enjoys taking every book off the shelf! The 2 smaller closed cabinets are great for hiding unsightly, messy things (like hair elastics), but my daughter also likes to pretend it is an oven (and bakes pretend objects in it).

The only things i MIGHT change: wish it came in an optional all white so it was more mix and match-y (and not so match-y) with the other Oeuf items (I wish this about all their furniture), and I am unsure how I feel about the fact that you can see the screw ends. It kind of gives an industrial looks (only a tiny bit) and you can hide them with objects. Like I said--I sort of love/hate it. Lastly, the taller shelf could be slightly taller as their are some classic children's books (Make Way for Ducklings, Madeline) that don't fit standing up (too tall), but I just put them sideways, so its fine.

I should also mention that Oeuf has wonderful customer service. Some of the best I have dealt with.

I highly recommend this, and other Oeuf products.

We ordered the crib, dresser, and hutch from the same Oeuf line and we love them all. This piece also did not disappoint. Much like the other pieces, the library has a mid century modern feel and is superior quality. It's super versatile and I found that the Skip Hop square organizers fit really well into it.
