Inter-LOK IL8489001 Two Cabinet and Three-Shelf Storage System

Bought 8 of these cabinets a year ago for the garage. Very easy to snap together and they look good. We have not overloaded the shelves but both the cabinet shelves and the long between-cabinet add-on shelves are now sagging. So I can't say I would buy these again.

I've had it for about four months. It's never loosened from the wall or dropped a tool. I couldn't be more pleased with it!

We purchased a two pack of these holders for our garage. Initially, we were excited about the product. It installed easily and held most of our tools, brooms, mops, and such. Like another posted suggested, our Swiffer and other small handle tools did not fit. What really disappointed me was that very quickly; some of the springs/rubber bands/balls broke and no longer held any broom, etc. Now, I'm in the market for a new storage system so that our brooms, mops, etc. are not on the ground. I would recommend getting something with less moving parts to break.

This holder works great for lighter brooms, mops, etc. If the item being held is a little heavy, then it won't stay up and falls off the wall. As long as nothing is too heavy, it works fine.

Great idea. However, the "balls" that are supposed to hold things in place can get stuck

inside and then don't work. This happened to one just as I got it on the wall and started

to put things in place. Can not get the "ball" back out so it will work. Since then many others have done

the same thing rendering the whole thing pretty useless. Would not buy again. Got an OXO

holder at the same time and while it only has four places for things it has worked flawlessly

and I will be ordering more of those to take the place of this product.

HyLoft 01000 Heavy Duty Adjustable Tire Loft

Mounting this wheel/tire rack is a mostly simple process. The base plate mounts with heavy duty screws into wall studs. It is set up for 16" centered studs, but you can drill more holes for any stud spacing. Then you can slide the two end brackets into the base plate. The little trickier part is to next install the three horizontal, adjustable steel bars so your tires size(s) fit OK. It took me 2 trial settings before settling on a good "fit." This process can be a pain if you do it like I did. I put the unit high on my garage wall which meant I carried a wheel/tire up a step ladder. Since I didn't already mark which holes to put the horizontal into, changing the setting twice after the initial one meant carrying the wheel/tire up the ladder 3 times. A smarter way would be to leave the end brackets on the floor and loosely install the horizontal bars, try a wheel/tire on it by tipping the unit backwards to get the tire off the floor so it hangs on the bars. Mark which holes to put the bars and then assemble all the pieces onto the wall bracket.

Unit is sturdy and very good overall quality.

Hyloft Company customer service was extremely responsive when I called their toll-free number and took care of me right away.

Just received this unit only to find that the inside width is NOT 66 in as described online. I called the company HyLoft and the rep confirmed this. He said you can spread the rack as wide as 58 in (inside opening) as long as your weight is tires only (no rims). The instruction manual states 52 in!!! I have 62in total width and therefore can't use this unit. The rep did not seem fazed by the fact the description above (from the company) is completely misleading. No apologies. No alternate solutions. He just said: Return it to Amazon! I can't speak to the product but the company is crap.

WE wanted a way to store our winter tires, up and off of the floor. We wanted this rack to be well made, sturdy and good looking. This is all of those. It was easy to install because the directions were clear, our studs were on center. It holds all four of our winter tires and wheels plus 2 smaller travel tires and wheels. I needed some type of storage device to get my alternate set of wheels and tires for my car out of the way to free up floor space in the garage, and this rack fit the bill perfectly.

It's very well constructed and took less than a half hour to mount the pieces to the wall and assemble.

I have no qualms about it falling apart or being at all unsafe.

The only improvement I would make is the two polygonal arms on each side of the tires have a very sharp, pointy front bottom corner and it would be nice if these could be rounded off, as if you are working below it and bash your head on one of these pointy corners you will do SERIOUS damage to yourself; a little pipe insulation taped to those corners solves the problem but it shouldn't be necessary.

I am pleased, but not thrilled, with the wall niche. I ordered beige and the one I received was pale green. It fit in OK with my decor so I decided to keep it rather than deal with the hassle of returning it. It was not real difficult to install; however, it was 1/2 inch too deep for my wall, which I thought was a pretty standard-sized wall for a private home. My brother and cousin got some 1/2 inch molding and glued this around the back before glueing the whole thing into the wall. Now installed, it is lovely and I like it. Oh, one other problem was that there were no pegs included to hold up the shelves. Luckily, they fit in very tightly and I'm not putting anything heavy on them. The workmanship on the product is good.

Trust me it could have been a dollar and it wouldn't have been worth it. The Neu Home 17745 Organize It All Concord 3-Tier storage cart is garbage, and they wanted originally $101.00 for it that is laughable! One of the wood sides has a wood knot in it and at that knot it was cracked, the cuts to the wood aren't straight, so attempting to put the baskets into the pre-drilled holes was impossible, they won't line up properly. Yes, the product arrived quickly, but my guess is it arrived quickly because they wanted to get rid of the product from their inventory as quickly as possible. If I had seen this cart in a store, I would not have purchased it. I assembled the cart the day I received it, following the simple picture instructions. However, once assembled, the cart wobbled back and forth. It was not sturdy but wobbled at the slighted push. While I liked the wood details, to keep the cart we would have had to figure out how to reinforce the cart to make it sturdy. My husband felt that the best way to indicate poor design was to return the cart.

I spent weeks trying to find the right shelf and this appears to fit the bill. I have a gas fireplace in which I hung my flat screen over. However, there was no place to set the center speaker unless I put up a shelf.

I've had the shelf up for about six months now and it's still pretty solid. The only thing is that you have to make sure that the tongue gets into the groove on the backside or else you'll have an accident like the other reviewer. One hint is to not fully seat the hangers flush with the wall. The reason being is that the edge of the hangers are flush with the backside of the shelf (which isn't a problem). However, have you ever seen a truly flat wall? If you don't fully seat the hangers to be tight against the wall, then that will leave a little space for the tongues to fit perfectly into the grooves.

When I received this shelf I was quite pleased at the way it looked. However, upon looking through the box, there were no directions for installation. After reviewing the hardware supplied, it seemed easy enough to install (and it was), however, the shelf has a groove which simply sits on two blocks of wood that are screwed to the wall. It is secure enough if no one goes near it, however, I was concerned that if someone accidently knocked into the shelf it would just release and fall off the wall. Well, my concerns were well-founded...I hit the corner of the shelf with my arm and it fell and almost broke my toe. I have other shelves from different manufacturers that have keyhole hardware supplied and these shelves are stable and secure. I am very disappointed with this item and for safety reasons would not recommend this purchase. As soon as I find an appropriate box, I will be returning it.

Im not very good at assembling things, but the instructions are very very easy to understand, and although it took me over an hour to put it together, I was eventually able to do it! The stand arrived and was everything it was advertised to be. Sturdy and fits nicely in our corner. It was quite "involved" to assemble it, and the one complaint I have is with the cabinet doors it was really tricky to get them attached in a manner that they closed correctly, and they seem a bit flimsy i.e., if you put a little weight on them when they're open, they could easily get off-center. All in all though, this was a great value, and I'm glad I found it.

Mantel Top For Folding/stacking Bookcase

Although I ordered the correct size, this piece was off by a couple of milimeters. It did not fit on the bookcase much to my disappointment.

It also arrived cracked and with a chip in the wood.

I contacted the sellers who said that I had to return the one I had and place a new order for another one. I asked for either a refund or for them to send me a replacement immediately, neither of which they can do.

It it too much of a pain to face the postoffice and return such a bulky item.

Just beware that this may arrived damaged and it may not fit the bookcase.

I had a similar experience as the other reviewer. The holes in the top are off and do not fit the bookcase. I will probably just gauge out the holes on my own to make them fit, but pretty disappointing.

Like the other reviewers' experiences, the holes drilled in the bottom of my mantel top were a couple millimeters off just enough where it would not fit. The bookcase looks very unfinished without the top; either you have four black pegs sticking out, or you can remove those and have four large holes on the top. Therefore I wouldn't recommend this mantel top OR the bookcase. Very disappointing!

Bought the bookcase and the top, sold separatelywhat a scam. The bookcase really isn't bad, but the top is just garbage, holes are poorly aligned; thing rocks like a ship at sea. I will probably return the top, but they grabbed an additional shipping cost, which is probably the reason they sold them separately.

I am so tired of getting all this junk from Amazon that I could just move to the woods like Thoreau and buy a spinning wheel like Ghandi. My wife feels otherwise. She likes the bright lights.

If you must store books, buy the bookcase. Skip the top. Throw out whatever you were planning to place on it. That's what I did.
