I have been looking for a small bookcase that I can put my 15 nursing books in my closet at the bottom. I could not find anything that I had in my imagination. After multiple searches on amazon.com, I was so happy when I found the way basics cubes! They are perfect size, colors and so easy to assemble. They are very durable, strong and fun too! I bought 2, lined them together and they are excellent for my books. I plan to get 2 more. Love them.

These cubes are exactly what they claim to be easy to put together, no tools, colorful, and sturdy enough. I bought two and have them stacked, using them to store my LP Records. They took less than 5 minutes to put together and are surprisingly sturdy considering there are no nails or screws, just double-sided tape. I would definitely buy these again for records, books, or anything else.

You need to be very careful putting this together, as the sticky strips are VERY sticky, so once you attach it, its there for good. I'm not sure what happened to the person who had one collapse. I sat on mine (I'm 220*) and it didn't move. They must have left the back off? It's fake wood, but looks great for the price!

I'm using it as a printer stand and putting the extra paper in the cube...works great!

I bought two of these cubes and had them both assembled in about 10 minutes. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, having obviously been written by someone with a sense of humor who understands human nature. The information also tells you that the cubes are made from recycled paper -so no trees were killed to create them -and how to place the cubes properly so they don't collapse. They're very affordable, attractive and easy to assemble.

My neighbor & I made this single cube (tomorrow the 3 cube tower). You can actually make sense of the instructions. Over the years I've gotten items where the instructions ranged from difficult to utterly worthless. The instructions, both diagrams and words, made sense. It took very little effort to put this cube together. They suggest that you put it aside for 24 hours with some books piled on top so that the glue settles. So it is sitting with 5 massive cook books on top. The cube it self can hold most of your large books in both height and depth. It won't hold a large Atlas or other books of that size. I'm happy.

Good value, not bad at all and pretty easy to assemble, no assembling tools required, no missing pieces. Item is a little flimsy but again, the price is right as I was not willing to spend too much money on an old bathroom.

I can tell these are economy shelves, but they look good and serve their purpose well. They are holding up pretty good with only some water spots here and there from reaching for a towel when wet. I couldn't find any other shelves I liked that weren't very expensive. It seems you either get these which are very economical in price, but the quality/build seems match the price. Still for the price I think they very nice shelves. These are very similar to shelves I saw in my local JC-P store which were close to double the price even when on sale.

I guess I will have to disagree with the majority of reviews here I wasn't a fan of this item and won't be using it. The shelves are much smaller and narrower than they appear in the picture, it was hard to get the screws into some of the legs, and the whole thing just looks rather junky.

this is alow quality product in of itself..better deal at target for 15 bucks for thes types of shelves...this item is a RIP OFF...and it comes chipped...when it arrived the paint on the shelving came chipped..... disappointed

I bought this product for my TV which is currently on top of my fireplace so that I could use it as an extra shelf for my DVD/DVR, only to find out when I received it that there is no way to use the product unless you buy the base. Because the product was so heavy and cumbersome, I decided to just throw it away and eat the cost rather than deal with the hassle of lugging something so heavy and unwieldy to the post office. Very disapointing that they didn't clearly articulate this on Amazon, so I am posting this with the hopes that it will help someone else.

The posted advertisement does indicate that this is a shelf. I agree with the other customer that the image is deceiving and does not match the description. Amazon should correct that. I have the Sanus Euro Audio Rack System and I have loved it! The quality is excellent and the ability to add to the unit is a real plus. Since Amazon does not sell this unit directly and prime shipping is not available, I suggest you look at the Sanus website and consider purchasing directly from the manufacturer. Their shipping prices are really LOW! My current rack has six shelves and I plan to purchase another base and shelf to begin building a second unit. It appears that the base unit only comes in black whereas the unit I purchased about three years ago was a combination of silver supports and black shelving.

Don't let the single negative opinion sway your purchase decision. This is a quality product.

Chadko Plastic Shelf Inlays - 18 x 48 Black

We had a large set of shelves that we used to hold our TV and other miscellaneous items.. until we had a baby! Then it turned into a bookshelf & toy shelf. The books & toys would slip through the shelves, so we purchased a few of these shelf inlays and VOILA! Instant book shelf & toy shelf. We had previously tried one of the thinner, clear plastic shelf liners, but it was entirely too thin. These inlays are sturdy and hold up to our toddler. I wouldn't, however, but a 200 lb TV on them. I'm pretty sure they are particle board with some type of plastic laminate covering, but they definitely hold up well for our needs (books, toys, things slammed against them, water & milk dripped on them, etc). They are a little bit flexible when you are holding them up in the air, but once you put them down on the shelf, they are solid. I am planning on buying more for our office shelves.

RipOff is the only word needed to decribe this product. The title says it is plastic, but it is nothing but a cheap cardboard that is less sturdy than the cardboard box it is shipped in. The add reads like you are getting more than one for the price, which I figured was 5 becouse there are 5 shelves on the stand it is made for, but that price of $18.69 is for one only, and with the shipping charges of $14.99 that brings your total to a grand total of $33.68 for something that is worth less than the box it was shipped in. I'v been Rip-off'd in the past ordering over the internet, that is just the risk you take buying sight unseen other than a picture, but I have to say this makes the top of the list for me. I would send it back, but that would cost me another $9.60 in shipping to get $9.09 back ! I guess looking on the brighter side I do have a pattern to cut the box up for another two inlet liners.

I have another of these for my extensive vintage perfume collection from the same maker that I purchased 1.5 years ago and the doors were made of glass. It was a much sturdier, higher quality item. This one has plexi doors and looks funny next to the other one. Annoying.

This was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for and has prevented my cats from knocking over all my shot glasses all the time. Or just jumping over them and leaving cat hair inside... I love that the shelves are so adjustable so my 8 inch tall shot glass fits in just fine. I only have 7 of the shelves in, everything is spaced out and it looks great.

Installation wise, it included no instructions, 2 of the screws were bent and 1 broke. If you don't know what you're doing as far as studs and anchors and whatever else my friends were fighting about go be warned, you're going to need a drill and a few extra screws are a good idea.

But all worked out brilliantly since my friend had his toolbox with a drill and extra screws downstairs in his truck... and it's beautiful, I just hate that the doors are plastic. The mirror is crisp and sharp, but when you put plastic doors in front of it, the mirror looks warped and dull. I'm likely going to buy panes of glass to replace them with when I'm not so lazy.

Also note the shelves are not wide enough for wine glasses.

Was SO EXCITED to FINALLY receive this as I had been wanting one for 3 years now. It arrived today and the entire back mirror was shattered! ugh. Very disappointing! I'm also wondering why it is now priced at $139 and a week ago when I ordered it I paid $169???? Lastly, Amazon won't let me order a replacement, I am forced to get a refund! Not a happy camper at all.

SWMBO has been complaining for years that she needed a display for her shot glasses. They were taking up too much room in her curio cabinet so I thought I'd surprise her with this. It's finished nicely and looks great.

I received this shot glass case as a gift and love it! It is well packaged and endured a cross-Atlantic voyage.

Installation was a breeze and once it's all laid out of its packaging. The glass shelves are a great quality and look great against the mirrored back.

Only one non-positive is the doors have plexi-glass within the frame, but this could be to keep the total weight within reason.

I bought these shelves recently and they are a really good buy. Three very nice shelves. I didn't expect them to be so attactive and substantial. They are actually well-supported with a second circular base beneath the main shelf surface. Based on a prior review of someone who said they didn't hold up, I too noticed that the hanging hardware provided in the package might not be strong enough to hold them on drywall. So for $2.00 I purchased some 30 lb drywall anchors from my local hardware store. I created a quick template for where to place the screws by using a 1 inch strip of white paper and 2 pieces of masking tape, taped to the back of the shelf. I traced the screw placement on the back of the shelf, and then taped the strip of paper to my wall. Placed my drywall anchors, and voila, a great shelf that is exactly what I wanted.

This shelf looks great, and my Mexican candlelabra looks great on my living room wall. I only wish I had them in white too, as that is the color of my office shelving. (Cherry is the color of my living room woods)

I got these to add more 'space' to my round dining room table, by adding height above it. I put napkins, condiments, my candle set etc.. and arranges them sorta like in the picture. they really accent the table, close to expresso/cherry mix. Solid wood, easy to install with a little skill and 15 minutes. They each have held a few pounds each with no problem. They are not meant for more (no bracket-less shelf is). Solid wood, finish is beautiful. Have had them for over a year now with no problems. Would buy again. I wish they would just say $25, free shipping then say 7 bucks with 15 shipping, but for 25 total, worth it.

I would not recommend anyone to buy these shelves. Perhaps they just don't hold up well in sheetrock, I wanted to put them in my bathroom, they sag and do not support themselves at all. I will probably end up buying some shelve brackets to support the weight.

Save yourself the hassle and headache and look elsewhere.

I was mostly happy with these shelves when I got them. They're very heavy duty, which is nice. I was unhappy to see that one of them got damaged in the shipping. I didn't bother sending it back because I kind of needed the shelves and I was mostly using two out of the three anyway. The one downside of the shelves that I have found is that the hardware that came with them is NOT sufficient in the slightest. The screw works for the tiniest shelf just fine but any of the others wind up with a little slant to them because they're too heavy to sit flush against the wall even without anything on them. Personally... I think I'm going to need an L bracket just to keep the medium sized shelf comfortably on the wall and not have that looming wonder of when and if it's going to fall. I think the hardware should been reconsidered when packaging these wonderful looking shelves... but that's just me.
