As my husband said "this was ridiculously easy to put together" and it looks nice too! The frame is metal and the shelves are metal frame/plastic slats. It has adjustable feet and fits in our entry way perfectly.

I received this item and put it together in about five minutes. I like it so well, I'm going to order two more. It is sturdy and decent-looking for the price. It holds three pairs of women's shoes on each shelf, plus three more pairs of flats on the floor underneath the bottom shelf. While there isn't a lot of room between shelves, I can fit my 3" heels on them with no difficulty. The directions come with pictures of various configurations if you want to combine units for more storage plus the hardware you need if you want to stack units. My closet hasn't been this neat in ages and I'm looking forward to getting more units to get it even tidier.

Admittedly, I didn't have a lot of expectations for a shoe rack. But this a a great product.

When I moved into a new condo, I bought a little plastic shoe rack that shoes were supposed to fit on these tongues. But they weren't wide enough for men's shoes so I could only fit about 5 pairs on a rack that claimed to hold 9 pairs.

This Seville shoe rack is much better. The shelves are high enough and wide enough for 3 pairs of men's shoes on each rack so a total of 9 pairs (perhaps more for women and kid shoes).

Why else did this rack get five stars? Because of the simplicity to set up. From the time I took it out of the box until I had it in my closet was about 2 minutes and required no tools or thinking. It could have been faster but I decided to put on the balancing feet (which aren't necessary in a carpeted closet).

It feels very stable and easy to move around.

In summary, a well designed product that accomplishes its purpose at a good price.

This shore rack is probably the best I've purchased so far. Its frame is metal and the shelves are resin-wood. The rack is very stable and acomodates shoes of all sizes(boots must be placed on the top shelf however); the rack is very well made and does not wiggle at all. It can be stacked, but two units are needed, so I went ahead and ordered 2 more, because it is that good; in the box, you get 4 small adapter pieces/rods that can be used for stacking 2+ racks. Excellent product!

I pulled this out of the box and was initially a little dismayed. I thought, "oh no, not something else to assemble." I was quite thrilled when after reading the simple directions that all i had to do was screw in the feet by hand (it doesnt need a screwdriver). That took all of 30 seconds. You then snap the shelves in. The whole process took 5 minutes at most.

The frame is metal, while the pieces where the shoes will be placed are wood. It is fairly light, around 10 lbs.

My wife was skeptical that we would fit 9 pairs of shoes on this, she thought 6 at most. We were able to get 9 pairs of shoes on the three shelves, while sliding some flip-flops and slippers under the bottom rack. All in all we have 11 pairs of footwear on or under this shelf.

It looks nice in our kitchen, that borders the living room. We keep it here so we can take off our shoes and not trudge water or dirt onto the carpet.

We are both very pleased with the look, organization, and price of this shoe rack.

I bought this product for my TV which is currently on top of my fireplace so that I could use it as an extra shelf for my DVD/DVR, only to find out when I received it that there is no way to use the product unless you buy the base. Because the product was so heavy and cumbersome, I decided to just throw it away and eat the cost rather than deal with the hassle of lugging something so heavy and unwieldy to the post office. Very disapointing that they didn't clearly articulate this on Amazon, so I am posting this with the hopes that it will help someone else.

The posted advertisement does indicate that this is a shelf. I agree with the other customer that the image is deceiving and does not match the description. Amazon should correct that. I have the Sanus Euro Audio Rack System and I have loved it! The quality is excellent and the ability to add to the unit is a real plus. Since Amazon does not sell this unit directly and prime shipping is not available, I suggest you look at the Sanus website and consider purchasing directly from the manufacturer. Their shipping prices are really LOW! My current rack has six shelves and I plan to purchase another base and shelf to begin building a second unit. It appears that the base unit only comes in black whereas the unit I purchased about three years ago was a combination of silver supports and black shelving.

Don't let the single negative opinion sway your purchase decision. This is a quality product.

42" TV Stand

I like this piece in my living room. However, the photo shows that the wood is more brown, when it's actually very red. It looks fine in my living room with the exception of the redness. The worst about it is the backboard which is a thin, unpainted, unsanded piece of plywood. If it's not right up against the wall, which it cannot be because of the wires and plugins, it can be seen if it's on a corner and you're able to walk by. I'd give this a 5 if not for the backboard. There was also a small splinter of veneer in the front right bottom corner--had to fill in with wood color marker.

The one star in this review is for the custome service we dealt with in getting our money back.

I've seen this cabinet whole and complete (we got one just like it from a different retailer that ran out after our purchase) and it is beautiful and functional. When we ordered it from Amazon.com independent retailer, it was a whole other story.

The cabinet was shipped in pieces, which wasn't a problem as it is easy to put together. The problem was it was shipped in one box with the doors touching the outside edges of the box. If they would have shipped this in its orginal box inside another box with a bit of packing, there would not have been a problem. The first time we got it, the glass was damaged as was the doors. The second time, the glass was intact, but the doors were again damaged. The problem was that the line along the bottom and top of the doors that fits into the grooves so the doors slide back and forth were split and cracked making the items unrepairable. The wood is a composit and fragile. The main casing was also scratched and dented, again from the lack of proper packing.

In conclusion, if you can find this cabinet locally, go for it --its very nice. If you need to order it from anywhere, I would be wary and probably shy away from it. One wrong shift in packing and this thing is done for.

Over the past year I've discovered that it can be an arduous task to find quality media storage, and I can assure the curious consumer that price is no indication of quality. These Windowpane shelves, however, retail for around $150 and I've been reasonably pleased with them.

The finish is very nice, it's nearly black with a subtle woodtone, and the unit as a whole just looks great. The sliding glass doors work well, though items placed in the middle where the two doors intersect are difficult to access.

The one major quality complaint is that the shelves will slightly bow over time, especially if they're used to hold television DVD sets (which I do). Most media storage units are actually designed with compact discs in mind, so if you stock them with DVDs you find the bottom shelf will be too small to stand the DVDs up and you'll have to lay them on their sides. This one, however, holds all of the DVDs perfectly upright as it's supposed to.

I agree with the reviewer here that it's a good idea to buy locally if possible, the packaging isn't very protective. Assembly time will be approximately an hour, possibly shorter if you're accustomed to assembling DIY furniture.

As always, buyer beware! I bought another media storage unit from Atlantic thinking it would be the same quality as this one, and it most certainly was not (the unit I refer to is the Atlantic Drawbridge Media storage cassette, VHS, DVD, CD, you can read my review of that piece of trash by following the link).

Putting it together was something of a challenge for me (maybe just my skill set). Halfway through I thought this was a mistake... But when it was finished, I bought another one. Great for the price. My concern was that it didn't seem sturdy enough, but when I was finished, it was okay... Problems included that one of the insert pieces didn't fit because of poor construction and some places where holes were indicated for screws, three of the four holes were there but not the fourth.

It's a nice cabinet, but the pre-drilled holes in the top component of the casing were a bit too far apart. As a result, the side walls bow outward toward the top, and the doors cannot close flush with the walls.

It's annoying, but the cabinet still serves its purpose.

The manufacturers need to pay closer attention to the accuracy of their machinery.

Absolutely Love it!!

Assembly was easy (it took my non-handy-man husband and I roughly an hour and a half). Also, the pictures and measurements are accurate. With the leaf up it adds almost a foot of room, enough to tuck in tall bar stools. We decided not to put the shelves up under the left side underneath the drawer, and our 22" recycle can fits with no problem! The quality is very obvious. After looking for 6+ months we are thrilled we decided to go with the Home Styles island and that we purchased it through amazon. It was more expensive on target, wal mart, home depot, and lowe's.

Love this!!! It's solid wood..no particle board here. Lots of storage for my china and silver. The side shelves are perfect for storing my espresso capsules/syrups. I also store some serving items as well. Perfect as a buffet and breakfast bar for 2. Husband put it together in about 2 hours. It's amazing and totally worth the price. Cheaper than other "outlet" stores.

I ordered this piece and it came fairly quick and was easy to assemble, I myself did not put it together but my husband did and it was not a problem at all. We love this piece in our kitchen, it is the perfect size, it is a little darker in person but is still fine. It looks like we spent 2 times more on it then we paid. My only complaint is the top stratches very easily. Any little thing can leave marks. But all in all a great buy!

As others have stated before, this product arrives in three heavy boxes (approximately 75 lbs. each). It is very well protected by packaging. All of the parts were labeled, and the instructions for assembly were very good. It took my husband and myself 2.5 hours to assemble.

It is a beautiful, high quality, piece of furniture. The top is suitable for table use, but the wood must be protected if you intend to use it for additional kitchen counter space. Eventually, we intend to replace the top with a granite-type counter top.

All in all, we love the island and would highly recommend it to anyone.

These shelves are cool, but they have some problems. Unlike other posters mine were completely in tact. The paint quality isn't great and they were dusty. The major problems with this is that the hooks in the back aren't in a vertical position making it more involved to hang. Additionally the back of the box is intended to be cut into templates to tape to the wall for ease of drilling in the correct spot. Unfortunately the templates aren't the same size as the actual product rendering them useless.

I was aware that I was purchasing this from Amazon Warehouse Deals and not as a new product. In the description it said the condition was good and there were only minor scratches/imperfections on the outside. When I received my order, the largest hexagon was in 5 separate pieces that I had to then glue together. Very inconvenient and was disappointed that this was not made known in the product description.

Extremely cool little shelves. The hexagonal shape is quite unique, and it's fun to cluster the group into different arrangements depending on the available space.

I would have given 5 stars, but the largest piece was damaged. Nothing severe, but one of the joints was broken and required some wood glue. Otherwise, a nifty product.

Elevate 47" TV Stand Finish: Espresso

I was disappointed that you can't find a lot of online reviews for this product so I felt I had to post my own. I bought the Honey Oak finish, which is the same style and build as the Espresso. I dealt with the company direct and was able to get a color sample, a 4"x6" piece of the wood, sent to my home to see if it matched my bedroom furniture. It was almost a perfect match so I called Evan and placed my order. I bought the cabinet, along with the IR repeater, which is a sensor that allows you to store your cable/satelitte receiver inside the cabinet while still being able to control it with your remote. The repeater has two sensors which allows you to hook up a dvd or Blu ray player as well but putting these units in the cabinet do not make sense as you still would have to load discs. The repeater wires are long enough to allow you to store the dvd/blu ray player under the foot of your bed which is what I was going to do. I then realized I could run my HDMI cable under the rug and behind my armoire and have my Oppo BDP-93 Blu Ray player out in the open where it looks fine. As a result, I don't need the second repeater sensor as I have an unobstructed line of sight to the player.

Ordered the cabinet on a Tuesday and it was suppose to be shipped Fed Ex. Evan called me later that day and said they were delivering a high end cabinet to NY and saw that my town in NJ was on the way(they are located in Philly) so they could personally deliver it on Thursday if I was ok with that. This was a no-brainer and I said I was absolutely ok with that arrangement. Evan showed up himself with a helper and they actually brought it upstairs to my bedroom and set it up at the foot of my bed. It's likely that this unit will be shipped to you FedEx but if you're lucky enough to have it delivered by the manufacturer, that's a nice perk. I mounted my 40" Toshiba and placed my receiver inside the cabinet. Hooked up the IR repeater and everything worked just like it was suppose to.

The only knock I have on this cabinet is that when it lowers it has a little "slam" effect. Nothing major, but some felt on the inner lip will probably solve this issue. Like I said, I have a 40" LCD but given how close the cabinet is(the foot of my bed) a 32-37" would be a better size. Ideally, If you pick up a flat panel under 40" with an integrated DVD player, that would probably be the best bet for bedroom/foot-of-the-bed placements. One note: You need to have your TV mounted in the cabinet before operating the lift. It will work without the TV mounted, but the lift will not retreat all the way down without the weight of a TV. I only bring that up just so you don't think the lift is broken if it doesn't go all the way down for you out of the box.

Yep.. directions were terrible. It doesn't tell you what is front vs. back, so you need to be cautious about the lacquered side. We had to take it completely apart after we realized we were doing it wrong. Also, we got our end piece without being pre-drilled. So, the top isn't drilled down on one side. I've uploaded pictures depicting the missing drill points on the part. I would recommend not buying this product.

This product arrived when on time. The packaging was not damaged, but the item was. The top came with a scratch in the corner. The drawers were both broken where the sliders connect on. I had to glue them together to put the drawers together. If I would have known how easily some of the components could be broken I would have bought a comparable item at a local store.

Ok, so this thing seemed like a good deal until i got it.. I opened the box and 2 pieces were broken then as i tried to still put it together i noticed it didnt have holes drilled where the instructions indicated which made it impossible to put together. i didnt read the reviews before I bought it...

I will say this, the return policy looks super simple.. I clicked return item in my amazon account and it spit out a prepaid return label and even gave the option to have it picked up at my residence! In addtion amazon says they will refund my purchase within 2 days of recieving the returned item!! Thats a really amazing return policy especially for an online store.. Im shipping it back tommorrow so we will see how the return goes...

The style is everything I had hoped for and was easy to assemble. Even though the product was packaged very well, one of the drawer sides came broken, snapped in half along the drawer slide. (And a couple of minor dinks on the edges which I touched up with a black sharpie.) Very lightweight, flimsy-feeling wood for the drawers. I glued it together myself, but doubt the drawer will hold weight without breaking again. The product is cheap. YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE VENEER! It will peel off with no effort, literally paper thin. The slides on the cabinet on one side were off. The drawer rubbed the body once in. I had to move the slide, fill in old screw holes and drill new ones for screws. I also ordered end tables, but it's been three months with no sign of them becoming available. If they never do, I'll never have a matching set. Would only recommend for single, or gentle adults. Doubt very much it would hold up at all to children or college students.

This is a very attractive entertainment center. It assembles easily enough (though not without some confusion; more on that below), and the drawers have a good depth to them and slide easily. The open areas of the unit are adequate if you don't have too many devices: it fits our receiver on one side and our Blu-Ray and Tivo HD stacked on the other, which fortunately is all we need it to hold. The hole in back for the cords is small, but it worked fine -just needed some Twister-level contortioning to get the devices connected and cables arranged.

Be careful putting it together: several pieces look like they could go one way or another, but there is definitely a right and wrong way to put it together, and the diagrams are not precise enough. Maybe I missed something, but I ended up putting it together backwards. Fortunately I was able to disassemble and reassemble it correctly without really damaging it.

Decorative Shelf Bracket, 6" x 6" White

When I purchased these shelf brackets it was difficult to tell if they were a heavy gauge material or not, they are and work very well. The mounting is through a keyhole slot which makes them pretty easy to mount. The slot is slightly offset to allow for a screwdriver without hitting the support. I am very pleased with this product.

Purchased two of these together and began putting them on wall when discovering that one of them was not "square" at all with my level. The bracket angled upwards about 10 degrees different from the other bracket which was square with the level............not good when you are trying to hang a shelf that should be level!

this product almost doubled its price ... what is that !??? Personally i am not happy at all with it

It came 3 days before they promised. it will arrive in 3 very professionally packaged boxes so that you can easily carry it otherwise its very heavy. The way its packaged makes it very difficult that a glass could be broken. Then it took about 1 hour from opening the boxes to get it ready. Its not a small cabinet, in fact its perfect for big equipment and let it breath.

Another thing, its not iron as it looks in the picture. Its made of metal but it is painted automotive silver. None of the parts are too shiny. The picture looks like if it were shiny. Even though it looks very good.

STARS: 3 Stars because its a good product with a few shortcomings.

WHY NOT 5 STARS: Picture shows something different than what is received, Product required a bit of problem solving, I believe the product concept could be made into better quality.

DESCRIPTION:

PLEASE understand that the picture on the product shows 4 hooks on the product (to hold bags), while the package only comes with TWO. One hook for each of the two nylon bags.

The product comes with just a few pieces. A belt, two metal clips that are for going onto the door, and two nylon mesh bags that will hold your equipment (in my case, I bought the sports rack for laundry).

The picture on the front of the box clearly shows four hooks on the black belt, which I had been planning on trying to attach extra bags to. The product only comes with two of these hooks, already on the belt. The hooks do not come off or on the belt, they come already attached to it. With the way the belt is made there would be no way to slide on more hooks if you somehow managed to obtain more, so I don't know why the picture shows more.

One of the pictures on the box shows a hat being hung on one of the hooks so having extra hooks on the belt would be helpful in my opinion.

That aside, I'm going to go into the rest of things that I LIKE about the product.

The metal clips that hold the black belt onto the door are an "over-the-door" type of design. One metal clip goes on the top of the door, and one goes underneath the door on the bottom of the door itself. These clips "grip" the door tightly. If it didn't, then the clip on the bottom would fall off. The clips are also VERY thin (but sturdy!) metal which I think is VERY good because some products that are made to go over-the-door are too bulky or too thick to allow for a door to shut. THIS product allows my door to shut with no problem.

Once the clips are in place, there is a place on each clip to loop the ends of the black belt onto. The belt itself is adjustable with a buckle so you can loosen or tighten the belt as needed.

The bags appear slightly smaller to me than what appears in the picture, but the product description on Amazon clearly offers the measurements of the bag size and the bags do hold my laundry pretty well so I can't complain. One bag holds about 1/2 to 3/4 of the contents of a pop-up hamper when dealing with sheets alone.

The hooks and the bags are definitely not just any kind of hook or bag. The bags have a special plastic piece that when put onto the hooks (which are specially designed also), they can be put on and lifted off with ease. This means that gravity is what is keeping these bags in place.

The nylon bags have a special design to it also, so that when you lift the bag up from the loop that "hangs" on the hook, it seems to "straighten" the posture of the bag in a way that makes it ready for hanging against the door.

I had a problem with filling the bottom bag too much. When I filled the bag to its maximum, it changed the angle of the hook in such a way that it allowed for the hook to slide down the belt to the floor instead of staying holding up against the weight of the bag and keep it up high for hanging.

I fixed this problem by first sliding the hooks to where I wanted them on the belt, and then tying a knot into the belt underneath each hook. So far this has been working really well, and I don't have to worry about the bag sliding to the floor.

There is a product just like this made for laundry but I thought for some reason that the sports rack would be made more "heavy duty". The parts don't seem like they are heavy duty so my GUESS is that the laundry version is exactly the same except for the color.

My only other complaint is that once the full weight of the two bags is pulling on the belt, the belt has a tendency to pull away from the door. If you are planning on putting this on a door that is opened and closed several times constantly throughout a day, you might find it annoying to have these heavy swaying objects behind your door.

Do I recommend it? Yes I do. For thirteen dollars and free saver amazon shipping, I think it's worth a try to get the junk up off the floor and out of the way.

I'm considering getting another one to see if I can fit two of these (a total of four bags) onto one door. If I do, I'll review again. Hope this helps everyone!

Organize It All Baronial Spacesaver

I was a little skeptical when I was buying this spacesaver. I tried to find reviews and didn't see any good reviews, but I decided to give it a chance. It is a great looking space saver and matches my vanity perfectly. It has lots of stainless steel and the wood components are really dark brown/mahogany. It's made in China so it's not worth the original price, but if you get it on sale like I did then it's definitely worth it!

To the person who gave it a 1-star review: anything you buy can have a missing part there is no reason to give it such a low rating.

I received this item in a few weeks ago and a part was missing. I called the company who said they would send the part. I still don't have it. As this point, I rate the item totally nonfunctional. So rather than being a bathroom space saver, it is a pile of parts taking up space under my dining room table.

Love these shelves -very sturdy and attractive, and great for my intended purpose (extra kitchen storage).

I just wanted to include this review if you're like me and don't always comprehend assembly instructions the first time you read them. Some of my tips:

1. The "threaded connectors" connect the top pole to the lower pole. My threaded connectors didn't have a groove in the middle (according to the drawing and instructions they were supposed to), so I had to estimate when they were screwed halfway into each pole. Make sure they aren't wobbly when you've screwed the poles together -this means one pole has too much of the connector in it.

2. Don't screw the feet in too tightly when you first put them in, so that you won't have trouble loosening them later when you're leveling the unit.

3. Even though the sleeves look incredibly flimsy, they work. Don't waste time staring at them, wondering how the heck they're going to support 350 pounds.

4. The lip around the edge of the shelves should point downward. Although I thought this was the case from the picture on the website, the drawing in Step 3 is a little confusing.

5. If you're putting together the shelves by yourself, lay the four poles on the ground. Slide the shelf onto the poles, and then put the box in between the bottom and top poles to support the top poles as you slide the shelf toward the feet.

These shelves are like many other shelving products I've come across. They assemble by placing plastic cylinders around the vertical poles and then sliding the shelf(s) down upon the plastic cylinders. There is a slight taper to the plastic cylinders and the cylinders on the shelves which slide over them. This squeezes the cylinders tight to the vertical poles and keep the shelves from sliding down the pole.

They say no tools are necessary for assembly and this is true, though I would recommend having a rubber mallet or a hammer and a small block of wood so you can tap the shelves into alignment and definitely if you need to reposition a shelf. A box level could be useful too if you really wanted to try and get everything just right.

The nice thing about these products are they are simple to assemble and the shelf position is very customizable. The bad part is that the shelves are usually somewhat warped. Not so much that it significantly affects the structure, but enough to notice with the naked eye.

I bought two of these and both shipping cartons were fairly banged up, but everything was in relatively good shape and all parts were still in the container. The thing about buying two of these is that if you place them next to each other you may notice that the legs do not appear to be perfectly vertical. Even if you get the shelves level on both units odd are the legs will not be perfectly vertical. Not a big deal if you only have one by itself, but with two next to each other it is somewhat obvious. Just something to consider. Could probably be adjusted and straightened with a bit of labor but it is not a big deal for my intended usage of these shelves.

All in all though it's a good shelf and easy to put together. The black coating makes it look a little less harsh than stainless too.

I agree with most that has been said before (i.e. sturdy, fairly easy to assemble etc.).

Here's an additional input I haven't seen in a review yet: One reviewer mentions the possibilty to make two smaller units out of one large. True, but...

...WAY more interesting in my eyes is the possibility to combine two 5-shelf-units to one 10-shelf-unit of THREE times the width. Just assemble the whole unit in one shot from the bottom up and install at least two (better three) shelves towards the OUTSIDE, therefore connecting the two units. A word of caution: Be sure beforehand on what heights you want the shelves mounted, since it is almost impossible to correct this later without major disassemby!

You get a three shelves wide unit, obviously with the same number of shelves (10). You do NOT gain shelf space, but you DO gain room for larger items (which this shelving can handle very easily) and one VERY sturdy wall unit. And while you are at it, you might want to explore the 'buy three, make five'-version...

Very impressed with my new shelves. Received very quickly too. They are strong and sturdy, arrived totally in tact. They steadily hold a lot of quantity and weight (350 pounds per shelf). I am using them in my pantry to hold numerous heavy kitchen gadgets with no sway what-so-ever. Assembly instructions were super easy to follow, and I had it assembled in less than 1/2 an hour out of the box. Although no tools are required, I did use a rubber mallet hammer which helped me to solidify the shelves perfectly. I highly recommend these and would buy again in a heartbeat. I was so happy with this shelf unit that I snapped up what I thought were the same shelves at Target. Although the design was identical, the shelves from Target came with rusted poles and lower quality components. Another tip that I came up with after assembling my third shelf unit:

Tip: Wait until you have assembled the bottom 2 shelves before you attach the upper poles. We had trouble placing the shelf supports at the same level on each pole when dealing with the entire length of the pole. It is MUCH easier to assemble the whole bottom part first, then add the next levels.
