Welland Chicago Floating Shelf, 36-Inch, Black

The shelves are good they arrived in good shape and are atractive. However, if you plan to set anything at all on them (including small rolls of toilet paper), better plan on providing your own hardware. I realize they are only designed to hold about 30 pounds. Before I worked on them, I was scared to put 30 ounces on them. I had to drill extra holes in the bracket in order to utilize a stud, because there were not bracket holes in the same places as the studs in my wall. In addition, I was able to pull out the wall anchors that were provided with my bare hands. The instruction sheet says that the shelf should have a slightly up-tilted design to prevent sagging when used on the contrary, the shelves angled down when mounted to the wall. After I went back and added additional (and replacement hardware), they look like they were supposed to in the beginning.

I wanted a shelf wide enough for books. It needs to be a little heavier for many books. The weight capacity is only 30lbs and it was used up quickly with only a few books. I do like the look of it on my wall, above my TV stand.

4D Concepts Hanging Corner Storage - Black

I absolutely love these shelves. It looks perfect in my room. It was simple to put together, I did struggle a little to get them on the wall by myself but it can be done. It is very sturdy once it is hung and seems to hold a good amount of weight.

My husband put this together and hung it up within one hour, and I'm pretty happy with it. It doesn't sit flush to one of our walls, BUT I'm pretty sure that it's a problem with our wall, not the product. I don't plan on putting anything heavy on this, but it adds a nice look to a normally boring, unused corner of our living room! I may just buy one of these for the landing of my stairwell!

Anyway, it was easy to assemble and although I was able to hang it myself, it sure would have been easier if I would have had someone to hold it in place while I marked the screw holes and attached to the wall. First thing everyone notices when they are in our basement is this. Always asking where did you get that and saying how much they love it. I purchased a 47 inch LED HD television to replace my aging and bulky 27 inch CRT television. My old TV and VCR sat on a small stand and my receiver, DVD player, VSH tapes, record player, cable box, and cable router were in a tall (72 inches) cabinet. I wanted one unit that would hold all of my equipment in style. After searching through over 50 different styles and brands of entertainment stands, I chose this one. It can be difficult to determine if a particular product will fit your needs just by looking at a picture on a website. Fortunately I was able to find the general measurements and "guessimated" it would be a good fit. As for the unit itself, the color of the finish is much darker than shown. The overall quality of the materials were very good and sturdy. All the hardware was well packed and no parts were missing. The instructions was fairly clear, but could be better with more and clearer written guidance. It took approximately two hours to put it together by myself. Putting on and adjusting the glass doors was the biggest challenge, but otherwise the assembly was fairly easy. You will need a heavy duty phillips screwdriver and a small hammer for assembly. It would be best to have another person available to help move the unit once it is put together, it weighs over 120 pounds. Once I had the unit put into place, I transferred all of the above mentioned equipment onto it. I wish I could show a photo of the completed setup, it worked better than I anticipated. It looks like a unit costing $$ more. The 47 inch HD TV looks great sitting on the simulated granite top. My biggish Onkyo receiver is a great fit on the top middle shelf with room for ventilation (this unit can run hot). My center speaker fit perfectly on the shelf beneath the TV with the DVD player and AT&T cable box on either side. The VCR and tapes went on the shelves behind the glass doors. It has totally transformed the look in my living room and enhanced my audio visual experience.

I like it for the price. Fairly easy to assemble. Quality is good. My only gripe is the color of the finish. It is not a truly Maple finish. It was significantly darker than the Internet photos and the color photo on the side of the delivered box. So, the finish is not true to what is marketed. Don't expect it to even come close to matching any existing "Maple" furniture in your room.

Several very small packing damage. Also the top and center dips about a 3/8 of an inch downward. All in all it looks very nice and the average person would not notice anything unless shown. Good by for the money.. Would recommend to others for I think this might have been an over sight.

The wood is a very dark brown. Not like in the picture AT ALL. Also top is very dark and warped. Too heavy to send back, we set it up and are living with it but we really don't like it. I should have listened to other reviewer that said it was not maple color. Live and learn.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the quality. But then again, for the price, you can't expect real wood. This desk and hutch is perfect for a kid's room, especially the hutch. Although not real wood it is solid and easy to assemble. I have recommended it to others who bought it and loved it as well. Highly recomment for a child's room since it looks great, it's functional, and not expensive. If damaged it is not expensive and it won't hurt your wallet. DEFINETELY get the hutch. It is worth every penny and more.

One reviewer said, "The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the quality." the quality issues are not just because it's not solid wood but because of the overall workmanship. The hutch comes with 23 pre-drilled holes and they supply screws intended to fit, but the screws only tighten down all the way on 11 of the holes!! the holes and screws supplied for "two-piece hanging rail system" are not deep enough and, the holes are a tad too wide so they don't tighten all the way and leave one with an uneasy feeling about the hutch's stability on the wall. This product is well below the quality of a similar Sauder product.

The hutch should NOT be thought of as a serious bookshelf; it's way too small. I'm using mine to hold 31 books, and a few nic-nacs.

On the positive side, I received the product within a short period of time and it was extremely well packaged, and, the hutch is quite attractive.

This is the second one i have purchased the first was a black on for underneath my wall mounted flat screen [which looks awesome!], and the second is this maple one that i bought to mount over my nursery combo dresser using this saved me at least on purchasing the matching hutch for the dresser [ridiculous if you ask me to pay that much for glorified shelves]. 5-Shelf ValueMate Economy Bookcase

First, this "Oak" bookcase is metal NOT wood in case you didn't read all the details. And rather flimsy metal at that. Some of it is bendable by hand and in fact I had to do so for several pieces in order to get things to fit together properly. Also the "Shelf Adjustablity: 1" increments" is a bit misleading. 3 of the shelves can be attached in 1" increments in a rather narrow 4" range, NOT for the entire bookcase and, once you attach them, you won't want to move them because it takes 4 screws and is a pain in the rearend to attach in the first place. Also, there is only one place to position the 2nd from the top shelf. That is about 26" from the top where there is a ledge from connecting the side panels together. That shelf just sits on the ledge and is not adjustable and is not screwed in. Be sure to attach the back panels before attaching the bottom and the rest of the shelves. You NEED the back panels to make the bookcase stable. Attaching the shelves is a REAL pain. Trying to align the holes properly wasn't easy and took quite awhile. I ended up having to use a mirror and flashlight in order to align and attach the front part of the shelves. Since you MUST attach the back panels before attaching the shelves, it's like working upside down and backwards trying to attache the front part of the shelves. Again, make sure you place the shelves where you need them because you won't want to try and reposition them later. I would also note that when screwing in the sheles there were 3 distinct feelings in doing so. At first, it they were a bit hard to screw, then it became very easy and finally it became a bit harder again until you couldn't turn the screw anymore.

Tool-wise they say you need a phillips screwdriver and a small hammer or mallet. I also needed a mirror and flashlight.

Overall, I would NOT recommend this bookcase, if for no other reason than that they are HARD to assemble. It looks OK fully assembled but still doesn't seem totally stable. They say, "Generous 12" deep shelves accommodate 3-ring binders and large publications." but I'm not sure yet if the shelves can really handle that load.

Magnolia Bathroom Shelf Large Metal Decorative Storage

This is the worse buy I have ever made on Amazon. I am so disappointed. It took two hours to assemble. The instructions were just hand drawn pictures that were of no help at all. It was bent on the top to boot. After completion, it is cockeyed and not square at all. The welds are too thick and the screws are too short. It is very flimsy and wobbly, even after attaching it to the wall. I am not returning it as I am 69 years old and my husband has MS and it is just too difficult to take it all apart again and repackage it. I can't put anything on the shelves as they bend. It will become a useless piece of decorative crap over the toilet.

It looks nice, but it's pretty cheaply made and not very sturdy. I'm glad I got it at a discounted price of $23.49. It would not have been worth the $70+ that some sellers are requesting.

Two tries is all you get UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and Gladiator. The packaging should be more robust. The shippers could purchase a real soccer ball instead of using the packages they ship. Lastly, Amazon could take the lead and call a meeting with all involved to solve this problem. Everyone would make more money and your customers would be more satisfied...and everyone would make more money. Is anyone listening? I said EVERYONE would make more MONEY! Now there's an incentive! I happened upon Gladiator while looking for garage organization ideas. The more I looked at it, the more I thought it was probably a good bet. About seven years ago, I did a cheapie tool organization deal in the garage, and it really didn't help that much with getting things off the floor.

These baskets happened to be just the right length to fit on a short wallspace in my garage between a window and corner. I wanted a place to put my motorcycle helmets and gloves. They were perfect. One basket will hold a half helmet and 3/4 helmet. A fullface will take up the while basket though, but you do have some room left for gloves or something like that. I liked the baskets so much, I have six of them now.

These shelves are awful.

I purchased them from that horrible Chinese supply store known as Wal-Mart and didn't expect much, but I did figure "It's a shelf, how hard could it be?" Apparently, I was too optimistic.

The shelves come with nails, not screws, even though they come with drywall anchors. Nails for drywall anchors? Really? Nails to hold up shelves? What genius thought of that!?

The enclosed nails are are too small for the holes in the shelve arms. The nail goes right through the hole and doesn't hold anything! What's the point? Who designed this? A farsighted dyslexic!?

The plastic anchors stick out far beyond the nail, requiring you to hit the plastic (or create a chisel type device).

I have installed many, many shelves without incident. These shelves look like they were installed by a 5-year-old. Great job Closetmaid! Keep up the wonderful Chinese craftmanship!

I was a little leery about ordering this bookcase as the other review said it was wobbly. But it exactly fit in the small area I needed 25 inches, so I ordered it anyway. Also, it was on sale on the Friday specials, so the price was very reasonable. I am so glad I purchased this item as it is fantastic! Very well built, does not wobble at all, the finish on it is beautiful with no flaws a nice espresso dark color. I even bought the two baskets that fit on the bottom shelf, and it makes for a beautiful bookshelf unit. Don't hesitate to purchase it if you are looking for a small bookcase for a small area. You will be very happy with how well built this book case is.

Nice bookshelf, assembly is a bit tedious but can get done. A piece of the wood came off one shelf but I glued it back on. It looks nice in my study and holds a nice amount of books plus has room on top for a few pictures, etc. Nice buy.

This product looks great from a distance and also is easy to put together. However they had the right idea but the craftsmanship is not good at all. I opened the box to find hardware missing. When i dug further into the box for the glass peices the aluminum mount that was appoxied to the top glass pane was broke off. This whole stand is based off the base mounts and with that one broke it made the stand useless. The threads seemed to be loose and the aluminum needed more attention to detail as far as polishing and cleaning i also found some metal shavings from the machining process still in the aluminum mounts.

I bought a TechCraft TV Stand for my 73-inch TV on Dec 6, 2007.

On June 8, 2012, the top glass shattered into thousands of pieces for no apparent reason, causing my TV to fell to the floor.

The company do admit glass do sometime shatter, but they refuse to pay for any damages. They even request that I pay and order a replacement glass. So do your TV a favor, Do NOT buy any product from TechCraft!

I purchased this from Cymax and the glass TV Stand came in a box UNMARKED as fragile or glass and arrived Fedex. It was delivered quickly which was good. The box is completely flattened as if it was under other very heavy boxes. This caused the styrofoam to brake and become completely useless. The top glass shelf has a part broken off so I had to request a replacement. I hope that I actually get it...

I use totes to store the large amount of varied things I get and the fact that I support about 5 computers (custom made) with parts and the like, have like many people all kinds of extra "stuff" lying about that can be boxed.

These totes can hold a great amount of weight, so far the most I put in one is about 75lbs and it did not effect it. Their frames also allow you to in a hurry put heavier boxes atop the lighter ones (though I am sure there is something to re-stacking your stored items for heavier on the bottom) I am just saying you can get away with it with these (I have had such stacks for a few weeks) before re-stacking them.

I use an inventory system that assigns a tote a tote ID which corresponds to an Access Database which has information about what is in each tote.

I have 10 of these (have ordered 2 5 packs) and will order more if my storage needs grow.

Very fair price for buying 5 at once (ended up in my case having Prime, and these being Prime Eligible ) at about $14 per Tote.

That is under what stores charge around here for similar tote, and I don't have to go pick them up.

Sturdy, reliable and the lids are great and the locking system for the lids is superior to snap on varieties.

I purchased ten of these totes and was very pleased. They are clean looking and sturdy. Would recommend these totes to everyone.

These containers are nice and sturdy. Also they stack very nicely. Driftwood is a wierd name it has a slightly grey-brown color to it with creamy looking handles. Would buy more and would recommend =)

I ordered this item because of two excellent reviews and it looked great in picture. I think the TV cart may still turn out to be good but I had horrible problem trying to assemble it.

First of all, the packing material is terrible. Some of styrofoam panels were paper thin & severely frayed. As a result, as soon as I opened the box, pieces of styrofoam flew out like feathers and made a big mess all over the place.

More importantly, several crucial pieces are missing without which you can neither complete the assembly nor run to local hardware store to buy a replacement! I can understand one missing screw but a whole panel & it's fasteners??

The so-called assembly instructions are woefully inadequate and, get this, do not give any contact information about the manufacturer!

I guess I will try to contact the retailer (not Amazon) for help.

I got online to give this item ZERO stars. My husband and I were putting it together and nothing was labeled. The directions are poor. BUT once we put it together, it is wonderful. It is sturdy, gorgeous looking and was just what we wanted. So we give it 5 stars even though it gave us a minor headache to put it together. It is definitely worth the effort.

A good, sturdy, attractive stand. As another reviewer said, it may give some a bit of a think when trying to put it together (although that may vary by your spatial capabilities; I, personally, didn't have any problems, although that wasn't by help of the instructions). But I've been exceptionally pleased with mine, having owned it for a few months now; mine holds a 40" HD television and is more than capable of taking this weight, although of course the stand isn't as wide as the tv. I would certainly recommend it to others who are looking for a simple sturdy yet elegant glass stand of this size.
