I have the exact same item, just didn't buy it from Amazon. The picture makes it look like it holds tons of shoesit will if they are kids shoes, or very narrow, small sized shoes. Myself, a woman's size 11, and fiance, men's size 9, our shoes are probably bigger than average. This rack will only comfortably hold 2 pairs across. You could squeeze in a third pair of say, sandals, if you stack them on top of one another. It is pretty cheaply madesnap together plastic. But it did fill an immediate need I had for shoe storage. And $36 is not the best priceI bought mine for $24, and ebay has these sometimes in the $20 price range.

I recently ordered this shoe organizer online and just hate it. It was easy to assemble, but there are so many design flaws in it. The rods that the shoes sit on don't tend to stay in place they pop out of the sides, they are angled downward and so if you set several pairs of shoes in their box on the rods, they slide off. And, it claims to hold 50 pair of shoes. Hardly!

I put the smallest of my collection such as sandals and other light shoes on the top racks and the larger shoes on the bottom. I didn't even get 50 pair on the rack and it nearly collapsed! I even have the rack placed in a corner of the room to add extra support! The plastic sides slide into place and are thin, cheap plastic. I would not recommend buying this product; it is overpriced and in my opinion, is junk.

Bottom strut would fit nicely if it went straight through the pipes on the back of the toilet. Shelves too narrow to hold anything. Whole unit only about 5 ft tall. I won't even waste any more money to send it back.

Nice color, nice metal, came with some bent pieces that I was able to band back which in turn cracks the paint. Some of the shelving wires were bent. Easy to put together but use your own hollow wall anchors. The ones that come with it don't work properly. For the price it's fine and it suits the small bathroom.

This piece was relatively easy to assemble, however we weren't able to mount the organizer to the wall since our baseboards made it impossible to have the unit sit flush with the wall.

Once assembled this TV stand looks good and have gotten a lot of positive comments. I think because it is not rectangular or square as other stands and creates a good contrast from the rectangular TV setting on top. Very happy with the look and construction.

The only con was due to the shape it took a little more effort to assemble as the angles can create confusion. The instructions were OK but could have been better.

Overall I am very happy with the construction and look of this stand. I have a 60" Plasma sitting on top. It looks good.

1. Amazon Description gives the impression that it includes the frame. But it does not and it will cost you over 60$ to get that separately. It must state clearly that for this item you need to buy the frame separately or it will be worthless.

2. The cover has total of 3 cheap buttons to fasten the front (instead of a zipper or at least more buttons!) and dust can easily migrate into the cover!! Which defeats the purpose.

Unfortunately none of the comments included this information and it seems I am the only one who was dumb enough not to know what I am getting or dislike what I got.

If you want to protect your clothing, get something else. I returned this product.

This product is difficult to put together. The instructions are easy... but it doesn't fit together well. You need to bend some of the metal to get it to snap together. I am afraid if I touch it in the wrong place.... it will spring apart like a jack-in-the-box. It'd be nice if it were a little more precisely made. But, as it is made now, I would not recommend. I bought a rolling canvas shoe rack also, and it is a lot nicer.

Excellent quality book shelf. Looks great in any room and is easy to assemble. A good quality bookshelf made of real wood could hardly be equaled at this cost.

We recently changed the flooring in our living room and wanted matching furniture accents. We didn't want to spend a lot of money and saw this bookcase online for a very reasonable price. Even though we were willing to sacrifice a little quality for price, we are pleasantly surprised at the rich cherry color that complemented our floors beautifully. This item won't compare to a similar bookcase selling for triple the price or more, but it looks like it costs much more. There were very slight imperfections in the stain, but those were strategically hidden when it was put together. The parts fit together well without any gaps or imbalances. All in all, we're very happy with the purchase and we avoided spending easily triple the price or more for a similar item.

best racks I have seen. nice silver finish. they can be set up by one person in less than 2 minutes and a very solid and stable. try to buy direct from the amazon store and get the free shipping . the other stores claim they have them for less and and then don't.

I initially ordered 3 of these, thinking I would order more if need be. I knew the measurements, but it turns out these are huge when you see them in person. I had ordered them to straighten up the garage, which was full mostly of boxes.

These shelves go together super easy, although it is a good idea to have someone help you, simply given the size of them. No tools are necessary, apart from perhaps a rubber mallet to knock the pieces all the way together. Once the main structure is complete, there is a piece of MDF that lays across to form the actual shelf. Should that ever get wet & fail, it's a simple task to actually replace it with plywood for the same purpose)

Once the shelves are together you realize how sturdy they are. I should mention that if you get 2, you can actually connect them in the middle, so you can save a little space if need be, but still have all the shelving space you needed.

I have absolutely loaded up these shelves without so much as a creak from them. These are heavy duty shelves that can take a beating and keep working fine.

My order was from amazon, but it looks like it's 3rd party sellers selling them now. A word of caution if you do order them from amazon, it will be shipped via a freight carrier (CEVA logistics in my case) but they were super helpful in every aspect. they called to arrange the delivery, and the driver actually helped me move the boxes into the garage.

If you're needing some super strong LARGE shelves, these should absolutely fit the bill. As I said in my review for the smaller shelves, yes. They are pricey. But quality costs, and these are shelves that will last a lifetime.

The shelf arrived damaged but since I was having a party I didn't have time or energy to return it. I just got out a black magic marker and colored in the chipped part. The shelf was very easy to install. I would prefer a matte finish but this was the longest I could find. Too glossy for my taste but it does the job.

I just got this, to use as a fireplace mantel, and just today, sprayed it black. It will look great, with the crown molding, and match my fireplace. The wood was so nice looking, almost wanted to stain it, which I suppose anyone can do very easily. Another great product!!! I don't anticipate any problem mounting this, as all of the products so far, have easy assembly, and good instructions.

I ordered the unfinished shelves because I planned to paint them to match my customer's trim color. The quality of the wood was less than satisfactory as it had many defects and required extensive sanding. The corners weren't tight, etc. I wish I had ordered finished white ones, a light sand of them and a coat of primer and paint would have been a much better decision and would have given a much better result. However, the bracket installation design is quite satisfactory. I hung them on a brick wall and the install went very smoothly.

Ellsworth Space Saver with Door and Shelves

Tried assembling this on Friday night and found several defects in the boards. (Defects meaning holes that were not drilled that should have been, or holes that were the incorrect size to fit the indicated items (too small)).

I've emailed the company and asked for new parts, but have yet to hear back. I'm hoping I will hear back and they will make it right, because it looks like it will be a nice piece of furniture for us. Overall, not impressed that the product was not manufactured correctly. Seems like they could use some quality control.

UPDATE: The company mailed me replacement parts, which worked out ok. I do want to note that the instructions for assembly are sometimes not quite in the correct order, like it tells you to put on the board that goes behind the toilet, before saying 'oh hey, maybe you should put this together behind the toilet'. Same with the back panel it tells you to put it in after you can't put it in basically, you have to be smarter than the instructions to put this together.

It's a nice piece of furniture, but it took some issues to get it assembled, so I'm going to keep this review at 2 stars.

Overall, this is a nice cabinet. Exactly as pictured. That being said, I have a few grumblings about the overall construction and assembly of this cabinet.

1. I bought two of these cabinets. Once set was missing a metal lock screw, the other had just enough. Usually when you buy something like this, they have the sense to put extras of each in the bag, not so.

2. On BOTH sets, there were dowels that were TOO long--so long that they punctured through the material covering the particle board (different sections on each set). That sections of the cabinet it effected is not in open view, but I know it's there and it is a little irritating.

3. There were assembly line flaws that they "corrected" on one of the cabinet's bottom section in the front. Probably a hole that they did not mean to drill there, and covered it up with putty and probably colored it in with a marker. Again, probably not noticable if you don't point it out, but I know it is there and it would look horrible in bright light. Someone in their assembly line really needed to scrap that piece and start another one. Now I am stuck with it.

4. In addition to a dowel hole(s) being too long, the holes were too big on each set or the dowels were too small--you pick. Dowels should fit snug, these did not. It made for a frustrating solo assembly since they wouldn't stay put. Maybe a larger dowel would have worked, but I had to work with what I had.

5. The shelf within the cabinet is really nice, but the cabinet will not fit squirt bottles or anything taller than a bottle of shampoo in it. I had to lean my bathroom cleaners to the side and pile them in. I tried to assemble the other cabinet without the shelf, but the cabinet would not look right if I did that and lessen its capacity. Thankfully the shelf is only held in by dowels, so I suppose I could simply re-drill holes that were lower--but why should I have to do that? Maybe in production, they can drill different level holes so the customer can decide where they want the shelf.

6. The dry wall screws they provided to bolt it into your wall are cheap. Get your own. I have a box of them I bought from Ikea--surprisingly they work awesome. Speaking of Ikea, if they would have had a cabinet similar to that, I would have bought it there.

Finally, my review of this cabinet is it looks nice... as long as you don't get a section of the cabinet that shows a dowel hole that punctured through. My advice would be to drill your own little holes for a shelf within the cabinet if you plan on putting bathroom cleaners and squirt bottles in it like I planned to. Bottomline, you get what you paid for.. but for a cabinet that was $70, I expected a little higher assembly quality, adjustable shelves, the correct sized dowels, and enough supplies to get the job done.

This spacesaver looks really nice in my bathroom. I like that the color is almost black. At first when I looked at all the pieces in the box I thought it would be way over my head to put it together. But voila! ... Before I knew it, it was all together! There was only one mistake in the printed instructions and I had to backtrack a couple of steps to get it together. But overall, the instructions were good and I'm really happy with the quality for the cost. It could have been taller (I have high ceilings), but I knew the measurements before I ordered it. I would recommend it to a friend.

I received this cart well packaged, with all the parts. The instructions were numbered and easy to understand with diagrams. I put this cart together in 20 minutes, with no tools, as it says in the product details. It went together smoothly and the final product is VERY sturdy (supposedly holds up to 500 lbs, and I think it just might, but I did not test it.)

I liked that is has little raised guards on the two shelves. I added a rubber lining to the shelves, so that nothing would fall through. The basket is a mesh pattern and I did not need to line it, because the holes are small enough already. The wheels worked, the casters were not cheap looking, they seemed solid. There are brakes you can lock in place on the two back wheels, to keep the cart in place, Front wheels have no brakes.

This will not push easily on plush or shag carpet. It worked fine on cement, linoleum, and low pile carpet for me. It is quite heavy. I recommend assembling it in the room you are keeping it in, so you do not have to haul it up stairs or through doors.

The Black Anthracite color is not black, nor is it stainless steel, but a dark steel mottled color like gunmetal.

This cart is well constructed and is being used to hold my Cricut cutting machine and related supplies on the bottom two shelves. The cart stores away nicely in my stroreroom.

This cart is very versatile. We use this to store computer parts in plastic bins. It wheels out of the closet and makes it easy to find what you need. It was online at Costco for $49, free shipping (arrived the next day!). I assembled it in about 35 minutes. It helps to have a rubber mallet.

The instructions are poor. There are just some really small pictures with a step-by-step description of what goes where. It does not tell you how far up the shelf retaining clips should be on the legs. It doesn't matter. I just measured so all were at the same height. The wheels are good quality and I like that two of them lock. The finish is a little unusual (but very nice), black flakes in a dark grey metallic base.

Unlike some recent metal items we bought (made in China), this one does not smell like nasty solvents.

I am 58 yrs old and a woman with some arthritis in my hands. I put it together buy myself in one hour. It has 4 shelves, but I wanted more so I bought 2 more of a different brand and they look the same. I also purchased a 4" wheel set.

If you buy extra shelves, DO NOT buy extra sleeve clips; they are included. It doesn't state that and I did buy them, only not to be needed and I returned them.

The cart is sturdy, rolls easily and I am very happy.

I really like these shelves. They feel solid, and, once assembled, the rack is rigid and not at all willowy. The assembly is simple (make sure you have twice the height of the rack in floorspace when you're doing the assmbly so that you can easily slide the rods into the bottom shelf one at a time).

You can pay a lot more for wire shelving, but unless you're looking for industrial ruggedness these shelves should work well for you.

Linon Anna Collection Tall Narrow 5-Shelf Bookcase

Sturdy and stylish, with fairly lucid directions for assembly. It's not fine furniture, but it's several steps above IKEA and a good choice for home office or studio.

The unit is not solid black as pictured--it's got a rubbed finish with some touches of deep red showing through on the edge, quite nice.

The book case fit compactly in the corner of the kitchen w/o looking over towering. The shelves are deep; the style and finish isn't cheap looking, and construction solid. A great buy.

My 86 year old mother has a huge collection of framed family photos and has never had a place to display more than a few at a time. SMom had the photos packed in boxes and if she was ever going to spend time with the subjects in the pictures, it had to be soon. I looked at many bookcases before deciding on this one. My husband put the bookcase together easily but said he had to be careful with the backing as it was a bit flimsy. That's to be expected since this is not a $2,000 bookcase. Once assembled, the bookcase is sturdy enough for our purposes (not sure about loading it with heavy books) and looks great. Really much nicer than I expected. My mother LOVED it and started pulling out storage boxes right away. She had all 5 shelves filled with photos in 1 day and was thrilled with the final result. All her picture frames look great on the black bookcase. Mom's recliner is directly across the room from the bookcase and she is thoroughly enjoying viewing the fruits of her labor. I highly recommend this bookcase for display purposes. I don't think you can get a better style for the price.

I bought this because we had a piece in this same series/exact style, only short, and I liked the way it looked and its sturdiness. We got this tall bookcase to put photos of the kids, etc. (my wife wanted something like it for Christmas), as we had nowhere to put those things. It seems like it could hold books as well. I think it said each shelf holds 30 pounds, although the very top might be 15 pounds. We put it at an angle in the corner. The look is simple, and does not seem "modern" necessarily, as the black color might suggest, fitting in not only with the existing piece, but with our simple-style wood furniture. The edges are sometimes reddish rather than black, and this is fully on purpose to create a subtly "distressed" look. You have to put it together, but I enjoyed the process, all in all. Rather ingeniously conceived, really. All the needed pieces and hardware were there. All you need is a Philips screwdriver, and to pay careful attention to the pictured, step-by-step directions and the corresponding lettered or numbered hardware and pieces to put it together without problem. I paid careful attention to each step and positioning and had no problems. I am not always happy with the furniture I can afford, and hate things that don't go together well or that are wobbly or fall apart. Our previous piece by the same people has been fine, and this one seems great as well. I did not even resent the fact that it was made in China (as virtually anything affordable seems to be these days, sadly) after noticing/admiring how well it is prepared to be put together by someone who like me, who is not really "handy." The screws and pegs have guide holes. The main screws have to be put in with a hand screwdriver. The exception were the small screws for the back (holes there do not go into the material below the back piece). I switched to an electric drill/screwdriver for those to avoid the exertion and fatigue that was, ironically, resulting from those. All in all, though, I recommend this without any significant reservation and with full satisfaction. It looks great and serves its purpose admirably. I like the x pattern in the sides. Very simple and elegant piece, that can, I think, look somewhat formal or somewhat informal, blending with its surroundings. That's all I can think to say, except that my wife and I are both glad we bought it. I would not hesitate. M. B.

We got two of the open shelf and three of the library. These looked great when put together, but there are some things you should consider:

1.) This is press board furniture, and it is cheap. It will warp in time, and is heavier than wood furniture.

2.) The veneer is paper, and it is fragile it scrapes off easily.

3.) The pieces don't fit together well, and some had to be sanded to fit. The connectors are plastic and fragile.

4.) The stability is based on the paper backing holding the unit together. We put L brackets in the top and bottom to stabilize it.

5.) You can only put 25 pounds on each shelf. That's not many books.

6.) The shipping is expensive, because it is so heavy.

7.) It takes time to put them together, but is easy. You need two people to do it.

8.) Check each piece carefully for cracks prior to assembly. We found several in the long pieces, and it wasn't until they were being assembled. Go directly to Sauder for replacement.

If you are looking for something to look impressive but not be a sturdy, long-lasting item buy this. As for the economy right now I don't see why we should buy expensive furniture so this is perfect.

I own this bookshelf and have had it for over ten years, so it has stood the test of time. The bookshlef is sturdy with one fixed shelf and two adjustable shelves. The bookshelveis heavy over 100 pounds, so it helps to have two people assemble, although I did it myself in jsut over two hours. The entire process of assembly is fairly easy, but does require attention to detail. The only tools one needs is a a screwdriver and a hammer. It looks beautiful when finished. As mentioned, I have had this bookshelf for over 10 years and it is still in great shape with no warping or sagging of the sides or shelves. The bookshelf can be attached to a wall stud with accompaning hardware if small children are in the home. This is a very good idea, as kids may try to climb the shelves and perhaps pull the entire bookshelf down atop themselves. The shelves can be adjusted to variable heights. I like this feature. The only part that is really cheap is the backing, which is heavy-duty veneered cardboard. I went to the hardware store and bought a piece of oak veneered plywood and nailed this on rather than the provided cardboard backing. This really firms up the bookshelf and adds strength.

The oak veneeer is durable and pleasing to look at, but it does not tolerate standing water, so don't put a beverage on the shelf without a cup protector. Likewise, a vacuum cleaner can easily dent or chip the veneer, so use with TLC.

Remember, this is an economy bookshelf. A true wood bookshelf would run many hundreds of dollars more. I think it is a great buy for those who do not need the "best" money can buy. This one is plenty good for me. I also have these two side models by Sauder: Orchard Hills 5-Shelf Library Bookcase Carolina Oak Sandwitched together in a triplet, they accomodate all my library of books.

I bought this from amazon and it took nearly 5 hours to put together which frustrated me. The instructions can fool you and you could easily put the parts together upside down or backwards if you don't pay real close attention. When I went to put the trim on the sides together I noteced a space between the shelves and trim. Pay close attention to the diagram and your unit will be fine. I called Sauder about this and they informed me that this was common with a lot of people and they walked me through the process of correcting it. Customer service was excellent and I had no problems at all. The bookcase came intact execpt for the backing which had a dent in it so I called Sauder and they easily replaced it for free. It's presswood and not real wood but it acttually holds up very well. I must admit that I really feel this is overpriced so if you have the time, wait for it to go on sale or surf the web for the best deal you can get, it's worth doing your homework when spending your hard earned dollars. Originally, it was 159. and dropped to 127. Now it's 114. Don't get me wrong, it's not a horrible peice of furniture but putting it together required plenty of patience and time. If you're not handy, have someone assist you with assembeling this bookcase. Also try to have a portable drill to fasten the screws together, it will make things easier for you rather than using a plain screwdriver. One last note, the shipping charge was high so I would reccomend buying this in a store if you can get it and save the extra cash for youself. That can be a deal-breaker when you buy online. The box it came in was very heavy so naturally shipping will be pricey. If you can get this at a real low price with minimal or free shipping, then I would reccomend buying it without hesitating. I don't regret purchasing this bookcase and if I had to do it over again, I'd purchase it in a heartbeat! It's been two years since I bought it and it looks very elegant in my home.

We purchased this to match the desk, which complemented furniture we already had. My only complaint is that it's a tad darker than it appears in the pictureIt's more of a light brown than a blonde color. Regardless, we like it, and get lots of complements. It's tall, sturdy, and fairly easy to assemble. Worth the money.

I bought 4 of these. They all mounted easily enough and looked great. They were shipped well and I had no damaged ones. The only issue was the anchors that came with the shelves. If you're going into plaster, stay away from the factory provided anchors and screws. I ran up to my local Home Depot and bought some heavy duty anchors made just for plaster. Did the trick. No problems. The issue with the ones provided was that any amount of weight on the shelf they would immediately start to lean. The anchors provided didn't even open up, I discovered after pulling them back out. Great shelf, looks amazing but do the right thing and buy separate anchors. Save yourself some time.

When I got the first 6 shelves I was disappointed because 3 were damaged under the plastic like it happened before shipping and we were missing 2 hardware packets but they were great about sending me 3 new shelves. Other than having to wait I was happy.

I bought this storage unit for my girls room to put their toys and books in. It looks great , very sturdy. It takes less than i hour to put it together. Exelent buy. Iwould recommend it to anyone.

Great for holding records! I've got probably pretty close to 200 records in there currently and it's sturdier than a rock. Was thinking about the Ikea Expedit, which is nice, less expensive and sturdy too, but if you don't live near an Ikea like I do, they're going to charge you $200+ to ship.

I put it together in about an hour. But if you like me and like building things, than the time spend is no problem. When it's all put together it can be pretty heavy, so you may need some help moving it to where it needs to be.

-1 star because they shorted me a part. I could've called them to have them ship me replacements but even without it this thing is SOLID.
