My unit arrived with no damage, unlike other customers. Perhaps Techcraft/Amazon have been learning from previous experiences.

Installation wasn't hard and I was able to put it together in ~2.5 hours on my own. The shipped package that the unit arrives in is quite heavy (~100 lbs). I opened it up in my foyer and took the pieces in. Certain individual pieces can be heavy too (~10-15 lbs). The assembly steps are ok; they just tell you how to the pieces connect together. However, as I was alone, some steps did require some creativity e.g. when I had to align to larger pieces to bolt them together, one had to be a few inches off the ground. I propped it up with some coffee table books. Such tips would be very useful in the assembly manual.

Pros:

Good solid unit, with good finish.

The top surface doesn't scratch easily. That's important when you're placing/adjusting a large flat-screen TV on top of it. I do my assembly alone and can't lift the TV continuously. Its easier to shuffle it step by step on top. I haven't scratched the top-surface yet.

Spacious but not a huge unit.

I wanted a unit with doors to keep our baby away from the electronics :-). There aren't too many units in the market with doors. The doors do have tempered glass.

Things to watch out for:

When you assemble the units, you need to attach thin vertical boards to the back which are black and mostly cover the wall or stuff behind. They do have holes to run cables from your components, but they are somewhat small. In my case, it wasn't possible to wire up my receiver through such small holes and I cut a wider opening. I guess the size of the holes are a trade-off; too large and one would be able to see the wall behind the unit on shelves that are empty. The board is thin and its easy to break sections off. But a cleaner/elegant solution for flexible hole sizing would be nice.

The unit is heavy, especially with all the components/TV in it. So figure out the final spot for the unit and then put things in.

I purchased this stand from Amazon. The box arrived a little tattered and torn, but for the most part the contents were damage free. Other reviews have commented on the aesthetics and functionality of the stand. I agree with all of their comments. I had to build mine and will comment on the stand from that point of view.

I purchased the Techcraft SWBL60. Before unpacking the box, I recommend selecting a large clutter free area where you can spread out the several large pieces. I built mine on the floor close to where I planned to place the unit.

I quickly noticed that all of the holes were pre-drilled. Every piece fit very nicely together. If I was feeling the need to add some force to make it fit, I was not using the correct part in the correct place. Even down to installing the cardboard back, every hole was pre-drilled in both the cardboard, and the unit itself. The only place were I deviated from the installation instructions were the final two steps. I installed the shelves before I installed the doors. This worked out very well. I did not have to monkey with getting the shelves though a smaller opening. The shelves did not interfere with my ability to mount the hinges for the doors. I recommend installing the shelves prior to installing the doors.

To be critical of the product is difficult. It is a TV stand and intended to be used for that purpose. The unit was missing 2 of 24 hinge screws. It came with a dented corner on what happened the back of one of the shelves that no one can see.

This item smells of quality. I think that it would be tough to find a better built piece of furniture for the price. I highly recommend it, and would by another without looking any farther.

Package arrived right on time. Upon assembling found I had two left pieces. Instructions clearly gave website and phone number to manufacturer for parts issues. I used the website and the next day was informed the piece had been shipped via FEDEX. Process was simple.

Saw the same unit at a local store and found it cheaper at Amazon.

I haven't assembled packaged furniture in years, but this assembly went perfectly! I did the assembly by myself in two phases, since I wanted to do the basic tv components set up before I did the doors. Took about two hours for the first part, and under two for the doors. This taking my time, and spending some minutes getting the door hinges perfect. I am totally impressed with the engineering that went into this product, making assembly of a sturdy, attractive product using primarily drawing instructions.

The final test: my wife was happy with the appearance, and even the smooth operation of the doors.

I highly recommend this product.

Shelf Liner for Wire Shelving 12 Inch Depth

This product is simple -it works by putting some heavy plastic ontop of the wire racks. Containers don't wobble like they used to anymore.

My past experience is with ELFA shelving, who also offers plastic sheets for their wire shelving to compensate for the uneven wire surface. ELFA's product is much more expensive, but is flat and hidden when installed. It works wonderfully, and looks good.

The CON of this product is that it is shipped in a very, very tight roll. Because of this, the product does not lay flat on the shelf. The little tabs stick into the wire to keep it in place, but there is a bit of a wavy effect on the plastic -I doubt it will ever lay flat, and it took TWO of us to spread it out because it kept "snapping back" and wanted to return to a tight little roll.

The product is on the laundry room shelf, and stores a bunch of detergent and cleansers. It works well enough for me for that use. However, I would NOT recommend this if you intended to put this in a place that you wanted it to "look good." It works, but I'm glad no one sees it!

I just moved into another home with the dreaded wire shelving in the bedroom closets and laundry room so I'm back online to order more Conimar Shelf Liners. This is the third house in which I've used this product. It's easy to install and easy to keep clean. I don't know what I'd do without it. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because it can shift out of place if you catch the edge with something. I've also had a tab or two break off, but I could use the liner anyway.

When I bought my town house, every single shelf, including the pantry was wire shelving. I couldn't put anything in without contantly have to pick them up when the fell over. This shelf covering solved the problem perfectly. It was easy to install, the tabs hold it in place and everything now stands up straight. I put it in the bedroom closet and now the bottom sweater on the pile doesn't end up with grid marks. If you have wire shelving this stuff is a must have.

I added a few extra shelves to my home office closet. All the binders or small notebooks were always falling through. I did an online search, found these and the falling binders are no more!

It is very easy to cut with just your regular scissors and the tabs help secure it in place very nicely.

Tip Make sure you install it the opposite way that it was rolled so that it lays flat.

These shelves are great. Nice colors. Lighter than expected. Hold 30 lbs each regardless of size (due to wall mounts).

To install we used a drill to make the initial holes and then an electric screw driver, so not so easy.

We bought pink and yellow to decorate a nursery and did different sizes to add some style.

VERY IMPORTANT to note that the holes in the shelf are supposed to be on the bottom, but we didn't want this, so we flipped the shelves so the holes were on the top and not visible. This worked well.

You MUST put the metal frame on the way it is instructed because they are purposely bent a degree or two to make it so things don't slide off the shelves. We accidentally hadn't done that and had to redrill a few. Also, I am giving 5 stars because I think the price was reasonable for what you get but we did have one or two whose metal frame was bent the opposite and the shelf was a degree or two slanting down and we had to flip those.

So WARNING, prior to drilling, hold frame against wall and use a level device (we used a smart phone with the app) to see angle. this will make sense when you have the item in front of you...

No frills key box and decent price. Shipment was quick. Only problem is stickers and key tags are of low quality, would have liked to see them match the quality of the steel box, but they are passable.

Good cabinet if security is not a priority. Door probably could be opened with a screwdriver given a little bit of time. The numbered hooks that come with the cabinet aren't very sturdy but I really didn't expect better. I removed the hook assembly and installed my own key ring hook bars with very good results. All in all I am okay with the cabinet and would buy another provided of course security wasn't a major concern.

Fairly solid piece with an elegant appearance so it does not look like it came from "Rooms 2 Go". Does not feel or look cheap at all. Plus I haven't seen this local so every other house in the neighborhood won't have one.

This arrived in flat box and was very heavy, however I managed to unbox it and assemble alone...and I am a female. The assembly did take awhile but all the pieces went together perfectly. This is not meant to be a family heirloom but for the price, I love it. I bought two bookcases and the TV stand and they look great together. The light in the upper shelf really tops this off.

I recently bought four 48" Manhattan floating shelves. I used the plastic anchors and screws that came with the shelves, drilling into drywall. The positions I wanted for the shelves disallowed drilling into wall studs. Ennospace wrote me that these shelves will support up to 30 pounds. These shelves support far less than that, and if too much weight is placed on them, they lean precariously until the objects slide off. I'm going to have to devise an additional external support system so the shelves can accommodate more weight.

The shelf is nice, however the mounting wasn't sufficent to make it straight. It leaned down so I had to go get an L brace to put in the middle and now it looks great.

These are good quality shelf dividers, I was quite impressed. They are very sturdy, and they fit snugly onto my shelves. I would have liked them to be taller, but they work well for the value.

...these dividers have been great. I'm using them now to keep groups of handbags separated so that I can see them all and get to them easily; I have 3 handbags between every two dividers. Knape & Vogt 208 TI 550 Ultimate "L" Bracket Titanium 22"

I ordered 8 to put up a couple 8 ft. long, 2 ft. deep plywood shelves in the garage. They installed fine and appear to be consistent in quality and dimensions.

I installed them through sheet-rock into studs, and you'll need 3 lag bolts per bracket to install. I used 3 1/2 inch long, 5/16 inch lag screws. To affix the shelf to the bracket, I used 1 inch #8 machine screws and bolts that I countersunk flush with the plywood. You can use up to 3 screws per bracket to affix the shelf, but I only used two.

As some other reviewer mentioned, if you are concerned about the appearance, they are painted a gray-ish silver. Do not expect to get "shiny" stainless steel or aluminum type look that the picture indicates.

In the end...it's a shelf bracket! But I had no luck finding any this size at my local DIY store...Amazon to the rescue again!

They worked great for me but I did notice that they are not a perfect 90 degrees. I mounted them as advised with 3" 5/16 lag screws. I used two of them with a ¾" thick 22" X 24" plywood board and mounted my 80 pound air compressor on the garage wall.

These are heavy duty brackets. There is no give in them which I needed for a countertop installation. The only negative is the paint is a bit soft and marks easily.

I was looking for an inexpensive bracket that was large to put under a countertop that hangs off without a cabinet under it. everything I was finding was $150. this inexpensive bracket work perfectly and supports the countertop very solidly. it is a silvery colors so it's not very decorative but it also doesn't stick out so you don't see it. at least it solved my problem
