Spectrum WRW836 allscapes Woodridge 8 by 36 by 1-3/4-Inch, White, Shelf Kit

This is a great shelf for the price. I purchased four shelves, two 24" and two 36". Some people have noted that the screws are packed inside of the shelf support and that it can be impossible to get them out. This is true and happens on about half of the shelf supports I opened. However, these are wood screws and I was going for a particular placement that did not line up with my studs. Instead, I used two 1/8" butterfly bolts on each shelf which should be plenty of holding power (approximately 50 lbs each) for the nick-nacks my daughters will use.

The shelves were beautifully packaged to avoid damage in transit and arrived in pristine shape. I highly recommend these shelves.

I ordered 2 of these shelves for my nursery. They arrived each having a corner chipped and slightly damaged, but not bad enough to go through the hassle of returning them. They were pretty simple to install but be sure to use drywall screws and/or anchors otherwise they can't hold any significant weight.

Excellent tote that stacks well. The sides do not bulge if stacked three high. Works well for home use although I would not recommend for a shipment on a common carrier.

These containers are made of high-impact plastic, and will stand up to just about any abuse. Being 17" high and 21" long, they are ably to handle a lot of larger household items that wouldn't fit even in a legal sized paper box.

You might balk at the price, but consider that you'll have them forever, they are impervious to mold and moisture,(unlike cardboard boxes) and they can be secured shut with wire ties. Not waterproof, but at least you don't have to worry about moisture getting in from the bottom if you have these in a storage unit or the basement.

All in all, a great quality product.

Lynk Professional 430021 Roll-Out Lid/Tray Organizer 7-by-21-by-9-Inches, Chrome

Very happy to find this roll-out lid/tray organizer. It was a perfect solution to my deep, under the counter cabinets where everything seems to get lost in the back.

Pros:

This unit was very easy to install and I am not the "do it yourself" type. Comes with clear and simple instructions. Instructions include words and visuals. All you need is a Philips screwdriver and a drill with a Phillips screwdriver bit. First you attach the pot lid holder loops to the top/sliding base. These are simple finger nuts that you tighten with the provided tool. Next you use the easy placement guide to find the correcting mounting placement for your base. This is a cardboard piece that folds over the lip of your shelf and assures that once mounted and put together, your cabinet drawers will close. You then use your drill with a Phillips screwdriver bit and attach it to the bottom of your shelf using the four provided wood screws. Finally you attach the top sliding part with 4 screw and a hand Phillips screwdriver. It is recommended that you don't use your power screwdriver or drill for this step. Don't worry. This is easy to do with a hand screwdriver. My 8 year old even helped. That's it. You are done! Took me about 30 minutes to install and that included emptying out the cabinet first.

Nice, heavy duty ball baring slides. Movement is smooth and easy, even with it fully loaded with my cast iron pot lids.

Whole thing is well made and heavy duty. Nice looking chrome. Put together it is solid and sturdy. Very glad I purchased this instead of a cheaper wire one. This will not bend or brake with my heavy cast iron pot lids.

Curved handle at the front of the rack makes it easy to pull out and push back into your cabinet.

Cons:

Yes, it does not extend fully like other models. It extends out about 3/4 of the way. Still works for my us, but this might be a deal breaker to some.

If you have a repositionable/removable shelf and you want to mount this unit to it, you will need to buy an L bracket or two and attach the shelf to the back wall/cabinet. Again an easy fix, but if you don't do this little extra step, when you pull out the organizer the weight shifts on your shelf and the back of the shelf comes up, tilting the whole shelf forward.

This unit claims it hold up to 18 lids. I guess it is possible if they are smaller lids, fully loaded mine is able to hold 3 large lids, 4 medium lids, and 2 small lids, for a total of 9 lids. All of my lids have handles including about half having loop handles as opposed to knob handles.

Claims you should have 2 inches of clearance on each side of the tray when the rack is placed on the top. Because my lids have loop handle, I have several larger lids, and because of the inside mounting hardware of my cabinet doors, I found it was best to place it about 4 inches from the inside wall. The correct placement of your organizer will depend what you are going to store on it and the mounting hardware of your cabinet doors.

I always dreaded digging around for the right size pan/pot lid. Even with an inexpensive wire organizer, I hated trying to pull out my lid without upsetting the other lids. We recently added several good-quality pull out organizers (Lynx and Rev-a-Shelf) that have changed a semi-functional kitchen into a space and patience saver. This lid organizer glide rights out, and holds six big glass Calphalon lids without trouble. Although the Lynx organizers are more expensive, there is a substantial quality difference between them and the cheaper stuff. You'll recognize the difference the first time you use it.

Lynk Professional is one of the few products worthy of the description. It looks and feels like a piece of furniture; no wobbling, no sticking. I'm only somewhat handy, but this was easy to install with the clear, foolproof instructions (visuals and words), individually packaged pieces and tools, and included guide for placement. The only additional tool I needed was a cordless drill for the starter holes.

Important Note: You'll need 2" of clearance on both sides of the drawer. I have the space but didn't notice if it was in the description here.

These folks have done DIY right. I won't buy any other brand for this type of need. I purchased this and the under-sink drawer, which is equally terrific.

We got this just before moving to consolidate lots of tools from wall racks to something we could handle at a house with no garage (yet). It was so easy to assemble I did it in the kitchen and it took only about five minutes. It took longer figuring out where to put everything than it did to put it together.

It is very stable and the wheels make it very easy to move around. Basically, we stuck everything with a long handle in it and still have holes left over. The only knock I have on the unit is that there is no positive locations for the ends of the tools on the base so many of them flop around a bit making it somewhat harder to keep things organized. But even that is nothing compared to having all these tools handy and tangle free.

I looked at several other similar units and Rubbermaid's is much stronger and more stable. A good deal for the money. I highly recommend it for anyone trying to corral a number of yard tools in a small place.

After many years of having my yard tools falling on the floor, hitting me in the head and near impossible to find in the pile they where in, Rubbermaid came to the rescue wirh this cart. With only 10 parts it took less than 10 min. to assemble.

NOTE;::: A rubber mallet or a piece if fairly heavy wood would help to tap the wheels into the holes when you are assembling it. You won't need any other tools to assemble the rest of it.

I have 22 tools in there now and room for more. It will be nice and sturdy if you put some heavy tools on the lower platform as I have. I also have it backed up to my garage corner wall, with the wheel locks engaged so it is extremely stable. I would not roll this cart around to much with a full rack of heavy tools in it. It's stable against the wall but a bit tipsy when I get it away from there. It does not stick out very far from the wall, plenty of room for my car.

Wheels collapsed when I populated with shovels and other metal hand tools. The plastic wheels have weak supports that split when you roll the unit on first use. System works fine once placed in the corner and stays in place. I did not give lowest rating since it unit was inexpensive and serves primary purpose. In additionn, it may work OK for grass rakes and brooms.

(#1 REVIEWER)I love keeping things organized, and this tool rack really got my basement much better organized.

There were a lot of details that I was not sure about when I purchased this unit. To high light these details I am attaching 13 photos organized in 3 photo collages under customer's photos. Each photo has a unique number that I will be referencing in this review.

The rack arrived in a huge box which looked a bit intimidating when I first saw it, I was not sure if I will be to carry it all by myself. Photo 1 & 2 show the package next to a chair for size reference. It turned out to be rather light, as the rack itself only took a small part of the box. I had to take it out of the box to carry it down to the basement.

Photo 7 shows all the parts before I assembled them. It is best to assembled the rack first, and the flip it and add the coasters. This makes it easier to assembled it. I pounded on each leg (and coasters) with a mallet to make sure there is a good tight fit (Photo 8). Photo 12 and 13 show the lock mechanism for the legs between the two levels of the rack. The lock keeps the legs in the proper orientation for assembly.

One thing I could not tell from the photos was the mechanism for holding handles on the front and sides of the rack. Photo #9 and #10 give a good view of them. The U shaped holders are pretty loose and the oval shape holders need to have things inserted from the top. I expected the U-shaped holders to have a squeeze mechanism which some of my other broom holders have. And in order to insert handles from the top you need to have enough clearance above the rack, which was a problem for some longer tools.

Photo 11 shows the coasters. Notice that two of them have locks and two of them do not. In order to make locking of the wheels easy and convenient the wheels with locks to onto the front of the side of the rack. The coasters arrived with the locks locked, and all four feels looked almost identical. I read some reviews that mentioned that the rack did not roll well, and I wonder if the locks on coasters remained locked. When locks on the coaster were unlocked I am able to roll the rack pretty easily. When I lock them, it move but with difficulty as only two wheels roll well.

Photos 3,4,5,6 show the rack loaded with the tools from different angles. I like the construction of the bottom shelve, it really catches the tools well and keeps them separated. The top has different size holes for different tools, and I found that helpful, but wish there were more big holes.

Dimensions:

The width (side to side) of the top shelf is 34"

The depth (front to back) of the top shelf is 13.5"

The width (side to side) of the bottom shelf is 37"

The depth (front to back) of the bottom shelf is 20"

The rack is 35" (i.e. from the floor to the top of the top shelf)

The summary of minor flaws:

1. I would have preferred a squeeze mechanism to hold handles on the front and sides.

2. Instead of oval holes, I would have preferred some other closure that did not require so much overhead clearance

3. I would have preferred more big holes on the top shelve

Overall, I am pleased with rack. I find it easy to move around the basement (I keep the coasters unlocked). All my tools fit and I have some room for expansion.

Ordered on June28th, and received product July 1st that's fast.

I ordered a White thru Dollar-Rite and a Black thru Amazon, but leaned it won't shipped until August 6th. So I canceled the black and bought my 2nd white here.

I love this stand, it works well with other items also like my calculator. And I like the white I can see it easier in my i-touch accessory case.

I tried tipping the stand over with my i-Touch on it. It's pretty darn sturdy, coming back to its original seating position after letting go in trying to tip the stand over. Of course the stand is perfect for an i-Pod without a case. Next I put my i-touch into my leather flip top case -It still fits perfect, both ways -with the flip top hung over the other side of the stand, or tucked right behind the back of the Pod case itself.

The leather snap tongue fits snugly between the 2 front support legs adding an additional tip over security holding the pod so it can't slide off (besides the original non-slip surface of the legs themselves.)

The USB female dock connector is the perfect size to fit between the opening of the two legs. But if the pod is not in a case then you must move the pod (slightly forward toward the front about the thickness of the tip of my index finger on the very bottom. (I have small hands and fingers) in order to allow the pod to sit straight. With the Leather case on, I can use the USB dock connector without having to resort moving the pod forward to sit flat. Most, if not all, stands I've looked at don't allow space for a USB dock connector, so this is a real plus. And actually the reason why I bought this stand over all the others.

I noticed it's impossible to use the 3.5mm audio jack because one of the legs covers it. I plan on drilling a small hole on the right leg, or use a Roto tool to cut a small rounded indent for the Audio Jack.

I use a leather Optio Pentax case to hold all my pod accessories (best little case for the money made of top grain leather), including the i-Touch when traveling for complete safety. This stand doesn't take-up any room at all and couldn't fit any better. The thickness of the white plastic is 1/8 inch (not including the hinges). I have all kinds of sweet goodies over my 71 years, therefore I can safely say that this plastic stand will survive your lifetime with average normal care which you should do anyway unless you don't work for your money.

It's not worth more than $5.00 because of the material, but the design is so good it beats those $17 and $20 dollar items which aren't guaranteed to last any longer. In short a helluva buy, a great price, and does exactly which it is intended for. Even my wife wants one now for her TV stand and one for her desk to hold notes upright for typing.

You can't beat a $5 buck stand (tax included) with free shipping (without having to meet amazon's $25 min. purchase). Shipping came alarmingly fast too. Ordered sunday, came tuesday. It's about 1/8" (with thin pad) thick for most of the stand closed, and 1/4" thick where the pins/joints are. It's fairly stable when an mp3 player is not resting on it, and very stable when there's weight on it.

The plastic quality is mediocre, and is the type where if it experiences enough force in the wrong direction, one the legs will snap off. This shouldn't be an issue if you leave it at home, or if you make sure it is closed and stays closed if you carry it in a heavy bookbag. This is reflected by their 3 month warranty. The easel does snap into its open and shut positions.

Overall a great value.

Packaging was simple, and opened easily enough without tools.

Over the years, I have used the aluminum clothes racks and they proved to be AWFUL. I opted to buy a better rack and boy was I right. The Z Garment Rack will probably outlive me. It is strong, stable and just perfect for hanging wet and dry clothing. The "Z" shape is sort of odd, but having it on wheels makes up for that. I use the rack, roll it out of my way and go on about my business. No regrets here.

I wanted a nice long clothes rack for my laundry area in the basement. I didn't want anything flimsy so after reading a significant number of reviews, I settled on this rack.

PROS:

o *VERY* heavy duty.

o Nice big casters; two that can be locked to prevent rolling.

o Can accommodate two hanging bars (optional lower bar below upper bar).

o Not very difficult to assemble (however see comments below).

CONS:

o No variable height adjustment (not an issue for me).

o Included tools did not properly fit included fasteners.

The company delivered it very promptly. It is a *very* sturdy rack, I will never tax it at all hanging pants and shirts on it. I'd be willing to bet you could load this up with whatever you wanted to throw at it, and you would run out of hanging space long before it would show any sign of stress. I could do chin ups on this thing. (Well, if I *could* do chin ups LOL ). It *is* large, especially with the 12" height extension tubes which make it 6 feet 9 inches high. I only added them because I got the optional second bar from which to hang things, and I wanted the extra height so the lower bar has more room above the floor. The Z shape is a bit different looking but I didn't buy it for aesthetics, I wanted function and durability. The assembly instructions are, as others mentioned, of practically no use... but if you have even a modicum of mechanical ability, just look at the picture on the Amazon web page and you can figure out how the two ends and the Z crossbar bolt together, and how wheels bolt on, and that's pretty much all you need to know. The supplied Allen wrench did not properly fit the Allen screws provided, and the wrench did not properly fit the nuts to bolt on the wheels, so I did have to resort to my own tools for assembly, which some would not have on hand and this would probably cause them inconvenience and annoyance. But overall, given that this thing is built like a tank and will definitely outlast me, I am *very* pleased with it. Matter of fact, I just ordered two for my sister for her birthday, which is a pretty good endorsement!!!
