So simple and so strong. I was impressed with the design. It does not detract from the object i'm displaying.

I purchased these to hang on the end of my kitchen cabinets and I love them. They are simple, sturdy and are great to place pottery on.

I really dont understand how the previous reviews can give this curio 5 stars.

1) This curio requires significant assembly (think ikea style installation). It was never mentioned in the product description.

2) But unlike ikea, the instructions are not clear at all, and the holes dont match. Many hours of frustration.

3) The actual dimension is far smaller than what's stated, the interior shelf dimension is only 26" wide x 17" depth.

4) The product itself is low quality, the main front glass panel had many visible scratches and blue taint defect on the corner of the glass. No I did not mishandle the panel, it came without any protective film, just glass directly on styrofoam.

Maybe if this is a $200 item I would give it higher rating, but at $550+ you are far better off getting a real pre-assembled piece from a furniture store.

Amazon is great as always, freight company contacted me within 1 day of order and delivered in 2 days (reason why i ordered, needed it by the weekend).

In conclusion, definitely not worth the price. I am very disappointed.

It's perfect to show off collectables. Much larger than expected with mirrored back and lighted too. I love the way the door slides opens sideways. Nice scroll work too

This item was nicely packaged, however took my husband a while to assemble it. It is definitely a two person job. Some of the "wood" was chipping off the inside of the door. Once together though it looks nice, especially when there is stuff in it. Three stars just for the difficult assembly, otherwise a decent piece.

Simple Connect Essex TV Stand, 48-Inch

I was uncertain if this would be a good buy considering there were no prior reviews and I could not see the item in person. Well, it arrived yesterday and we put it together this morning. It is a beautiful addition to our living room, well built, sturdy, and very simple to assemble. My partner calls it "ingenious." The instructions are very easy to follow and there are no tools needed......we LOVE this stand !!!!

The weak link is the top. Do not assemble and try to lift it by the top as the top will loosen. Very attractive stand that looks like quality furniture. The assembly instructions should be specific about the direction to install the center divider. Be sure the door magnet holes on the center divider are positioned to the front of the stand.

Flimsy and wobbly. I would have expected it to be more sturdy. I'll see how it "wears", but I would not buy it again.

I think that the quality if craftsmanship is good and the aesthetics are what I expected but it wasn't as large as I thought it would be. As a result, I may have to find another piece of furniture to meet my needs.

Winsome Wood Hailey 5-Tier Shelf Tower

Very nice wood but the hardware is very cheap, bendable. There is a very fine line between tight and overtight, and once it is overtightened the part is ruined and the shelves will be flimsy. I've put together many pieces of furniture with the same system and this is the worst quality hardware I have ever used.

I ordered this product as a small bookshelf for my 12-year-olds room. It was pretty well wrapped, but it already had indents from manufacturing on it before I ever did anything to it. All of the hardware included was well wrapped but when I opened it, all of it was completely rusted, not only that but there wasn't enough of it either. I called Winsome Wood's customer service and they sent me new hardware. After a week, I got the new hardware and there wasn't enough to put the piece together. I called customer service again who was not the most pleasant, and they sent me another set of hardware and this time they shorted me hardware. I was so disgusted I put it together with what I could, hoping my son wouldn't know the difference.

After 3-4 weeks of waiting to put it together, it is cheap and floppy. What a piece of junk!!

DO NOT ORDER WINSOME WOOD PRODUCTS!!!!

DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!! There is no hardware!! Furthermore, there is a form inside the box to order missing parts!! I have to send them the form and proof of purchase. What????? I could use regular screws but this has those "cam-lock" things that are very specific sizes. I am VERY disappointed. After waiting for this to arrive, now I have to wait who knows how long to get the hardware so I can put it together! What a waste!!! Come on Amazon, it's not like you to carry such terrible merchandise.

I bought this product not to store CDs or DVDs, but to store miniatures for the role-playing game, Dungeons and Dragons. I was unaware before purchasing the product that the shelves did not go all the way to the back of the unit; that is, there is a small gap between the shelf and the back "wall" of the unit. No big deal for CDs and DVDs, but if you are trying to use it to display knick knacks (or miniatures), it may be a LITTLE difficult. The gap is not that large; less than an inch. But enough to be noticeable to someone that is trying to put small items on the shelves. If you are going to use this for it's intended function (DVDs and CDs), I am sure it would be EXCELLENT.

The item was what I expected it to be. It is a normal press board shelf that is made cheaply. I however do like it for my needs and take good care of my stuff so this will last me a very long time. I use it to store all my paper back books and have discovered that I am wanting to purchase another shelf like this one (might get the same one if the price stays low). For people who have children who enjoy climbing this does come with an anchor for the wall.

This unit exceeded my expectations. Assembly was pretty intuitive and while it can be done with one person a 2nd person comes in handy at times. I bought this to store only CDs and you get enough shelves to outfit it completely for their size. One big plus is that there is just enough clearance between the top of the CDs and the shelf above to accommodate the odd CD that comes in a slightly odd or oversize case. When filled with CDs it was solid and stable and the shelves are robust enough to resist sagging under the weight. It is also deep enough so the CDs do not hang over the edges.

The only thing I think would improve it would be to have a better backing board. The sections get tacked on with small nails and need to be positioned perfectly another unit I have (which is far worse in every way than this unit) had pre-drilled holes and screws to attach its backing boards this is a very minor thing though compared to it's overall superiority this has in every other way to other units I checked out. While it is particle board the finish is pretty nice but obviously not real wood but real wood would more than double the price.
