Three Shelf Corner Caddy in Chrome Plate

We have a tiled shower/tub with textured tiles, so anything relying on suction-cups was a no-go from the beginning. The ceiling is _high_, so the compression-pole caddies didn't work very well (they were either too loose, too tight, or too friggin' ugly).

The front, inside corner of the tub has _just_ enough space to hold this, though the middle foot hangs off in space because of the slope of the edge of the tub. Despite this, the unit is VERY stable, and holds all of our stuff (my wife has more shampoos and junk than should be legal, so that's saying a lot), with the tall bottles having enough space to fit perfectly.

We've had this for months, and there's no rust, etc.

There have been no problems.

Measure everything to make sure it will fit. To go with the measurements listed, assume it's going to take up about 9.75 inches from the corner (radially). That's what it does in our shower...

This thing stinks although it has a nice design, doesn't take up too much space, and is fairly sturdy I have had it for a month and it is starting to rust! It claims to be rust proof chrome wire, but even without scratches in it I now have noticeable rust along some of the joints and around the base on the tile. Save yourself the aggravation and try something else!

This Caddy works well and holds alot of items. Ive had others that would tip over, but this one does not. The down side is that it can get pretty nasty underneath if you don't move it out of the way and clean it regularly. Like anything metal you buy for the shower, it will rust over time, though I had mine for about a year before I saw any rust on it. All in all, I kept it for about two years and was satisfied. If you want to make it last longer, you might want to spray some rustolium on it and keep it out of the direct stream of water.

I bought this a few months ago, and, before using it, followed some advice I had been given for a previous shower caddy, which was to spray it before using with some clear Rustoleum. I gave it two coats (one coat each day, for two days), and let them dry. We live on the coast, where things rust and get moldy pretty quickly, but so far it's been holding up great.

This caddy is really great. I have a ridiculous amount of hair and shower products, and this holds them all. It has a small footprint, and the metal has a nice design so that it looks nicely made, and not cheap at all.

It also sits nice and flat on our shower floor, which is composed of very small 4x4" tiles; it doesn't wobble or move at all.

Overall, a fantastic purchase!

I've had this kind of storage unit for years and the 4 new ones I got from Gorilla are just as well-built as the others. The units were all well-packaged and arrived via UPS with no damage. Each unit is as heavy as heck and it took two people to off-load from the truck. I was kind of surprised that UPS even handled such heavy items. Assembly is simple and involves no nuts or bolts at all.

I plan to improve the units by attaching a 1/8 " pegboard backing so stuff doesn't fall out from the back where it's difficult to reach.

This table is a little flimsy and short but other then that it's alright. I keep a 32" flat screen tv on it and it seems to bow just a tiny bit underneath the TV. I have to be honest my hopes were not high for this tv stand but i was definatly wrong. For only like $37 it was a bargain, super easy to assemble and very sturdy. I've got my old 37" or so tube television on it and it's holding up really well. If anyone out there is looking for a no-frills, yet still really nice tv stand I highly recommend this one.

If you want big, deep, and solid, but don't want it up and in the way all the time, this is it! This is the perfect project work-piece. During construction, remodel, organizing, cleaning up, laundry, garage sale, landscaping....... it keeps you organized with all your tools and supplies in one place. I have 4 grown sons and a bunch of grandchildren so at Christmas, I can organize all the boxes going to different parts of the county in one place. And it rolls! Even when fully loaded! On the rare occasion that I am not using it, I can easily fold it up into a very narrow piece and roll it away. Well built and great quality with solid, easy roller. 5/7/2013 Update

The more I use it, the more I love it. Just as a shelving unit, it is really solid. But with the added wheels and the ability to roll it around, I have found new ways to do everything. So much so that I received my SECOND one today! With summer here, I have so much more going on and this is the perfect companion. For my garden, I just get my plants and roll them around on the patio and walkway to where I am working. Cut way down on the stooping and bending. I have even rolled it out my garage door to load plants, soil and pots from the car onto it! And having a second one now means that I can keep my project rolling shelf loaded with the lights and brackets and other items I am working on while using the new one for loading and unloading short projects.

And now for my new use: Tah Dah! When all my sons come home with their families, I run out of room, so I have an aero-bed, carpet, lamp, and rolling night stand to set myself up in the garage! I have hung curtains to kind of wall-off an area, but these two racks, side-by-side with a curtain hanging on the back side makes a perfect, portable, useful, good-looking wall! And still, when the day is done, they fold up to a couple of inches. How cool is that!

Floating Ledge 48"W x 2"D

I bought the 4' by 2 inch floating ledge and it looks great on my wall. I put up the screws leaving close to a half an inch as recommended, hung the shelf and although it was flat against the wall it wobbled. So I adjusted the depth of the screws a couple of times and it did the trick. I now have the shelf loaded with 3 8 X 10 wooded frame, glass overlay photos the shelf is very solid and stable. Love the quality!

I bought this shelf to use in my son's room. It's profile is not too large and works well for a boy's room, as it isn't not overly ornate or femanine looking. It has a nice lip on it so that things won't slide off, too. Re: installation: it did not come with a template like many other shelves of this type typically do. Still, I was able to get the shelf hung relatively easily with careful measurement. Overall good quality and I would recommend this in a kids room.

Yes, this takes some time to assemble. Set aside a couple of hours for this. You'll want to be in a comfortable area and working on a hard, flat surface.

That said, it really isn't that difficult to put together. It's like a large erector set project. I've assembled three and have purchased two additional ones to help organize my storage room. If they are assembled properly, they are sturdy and I haven't any reason to think they wouldn't carry the advertised weight load of 750 pounds.

A FEW TIPS

* A magnetic Philips head ratcheting screwdriver and some needle nosed pliers (to hold the bolts) are a BIG help!

* Snap the plastic feet onto the bottom of the legs before you've assembled them. It's easier to do when they are still short.

* Lay two of the assembled legs on the floor and set the shelves at the desired spacing. I took the jars I wanted to store and counted how many holes tall they were on the legs. This left me with some extra space on the bottom shelves which was fine with me.

* Count holes on the legs when positioning shelves to make sure you haven't secured one or two corners of a shelf at a different level.

* Make SURE all of the shelves are facing the same direction. The back of the shelf has a hole on the edge. (No fun discovering this after all four corners are secured.)

* Only hand tighten the bolts. You want a little wiggle room to get the unit to level before you attach the braces. Even then, you'll just went to use hand tools as the areas you are working aren't large enough for power tools that might warp the unit.

* Add the final two legs to the shelf corners (counting holes) while the unit is still laying on the flat surface.

ABOUT BRACES

*To achieve the "X" on the back, you'll have to place 4 of the ends on a single bolt and screw hole on the back of one shelf. This works best if you lay the unit face down, rather than trying to hold the braces in place while you tighten the bolt.

*Stand the unit upright and check for level. Snug up all the bolts and screws and fix the braces into place following the picture on the box.

FEATURES I LIKE

* There are so many holes on the legs. This allows me to configure more than one unit in an "L" shape, adding more stability. I also have the option of bolting them into the wall to prevent any tipping.

* I like that the shelves are adjustable to suit my needs for storage space.

* The 12 inch depth of the shelves gives them a small footprint. The 30 inch length adds to this as well.

* The price is such that multiple units can be joined in many configurations.

NOT MY FAVORITE

* The tiny spaces to fit bolts and screws. It's not impossible, just a bit tedious and time-consuming. Not a deal-breaker for me, though.

This shelf is rated on the box as 750lb capacity at failure. Given it's construction, I don't see how anyone could even aproach this number. My wife got this unit from Home depot, where it is also advertised as ~1700lb. I would be surprised if you could get 40lb on one of these shelves. They buckle and bow with nearly any load. Might work for TP or tissue box storage. Do a model number search, you will see it with two different ratings, both way off what it really is.

You know the disposable heavy duty foil pans? This thing is a second cousin to them. Recently, I tripped and was off balance and caught myself on the edge of a shelf. I didn't fall on the thing, just balanced myself. The shelf I had my hand on buckled, dumping everything on it into the floor. I feel that I could craft a comparable product with a roll of aluminum foil and 20 minutes.

First off, let me say I own the heavy duty Edsal shelving unit rated to 4,000 lb capacity and not this particular model. However, I notice many claiming this is rated to 1750 lbs or approximately thereabouts. If you read carefully, this model is *not* rated that high. It is rated to 750 lbs over all... meaning approximately 107 lbs per SHELF. This makes it comparable to a plastic shelving unit but in a steel finish. If you want heavy duty I would suggest trying the UR185L model instead. I imagine this piece would be great in a kitchen or basement for extra storage of light items (DVDs, etc). For heavy tools and bins (such as in a garage) I would think you might want to consider something stronger. In my opinion I would much quicker spend $26 on this than $50 on a plastic unit. You get more shelves and they hold just as much. Not to mention the steel will last longer and generally look better.

I bought this product not to store CDs or DVDs, but to store miniatures for the role-playing game, Dungeons and Dragons. I was unaware before purchasing the product that the shelves did not go all the way to the back of the unit; that is, there is a small gap between the shelf and the back "wall" of the unit. No big deal for CDs and DVDs, but if you are trying to use it to display knick knacks (or miniatures), it may be a LITTLE difficult. The gap is not that large; less than an inch. But enough to be noticeable to someone that is trying to put small items on the shelves. If you are going to use this for it's intended function (DVDs and CDs), I am sure it would be EXCELLENT.

The item was what I expected it to be. It is a normal press board shelf that is made cheaply. I however do like it for my needs and take good care of my stuff so this will last me a very long time. I use it to store all my paper back books and have discovered that I am wanting to purchase another shelf like this one (might get the same one if the price stays low). For people who have children who enjoy climbing this does come with an anchor for the wall.

This unit exceeded my expectations. Assembly was pretty intuitive and while it can be done with one person a 2nd person comes in handy at times. I bought this to store only CDs and you get enough shelves to outfit it completely for their size. One big plus is that there is just enough clearance between the top of the CDs and the shelf above to accommodate the odd CD that comes in a slightly odd or oversize case. When filled with CDs it was solid and stable and the shelves are robust enough to resist sagging under the weight. It is also deep enough so the CDs do not hang over the edges.

The only thing I think would improve it would be to have a better backing board. The sections get tacked on with small nails and need to be positioned perfectly another unit I have (which is far worse in every way than this unit) had pre-drilled holes and screws to attach its backing boards this is a very minor thing though compared to it's overall superiority this has in every other way to other units I checked out. While it is particle board the finish is pretty nice but obviously not real wood but real wood would more than double the price.

Shelves are solid (no veneers), rustic/distressed wood planks with a darker oak flooring stain color to them. Frame is also sturdy, welded steel or aluminum (hollow/square tubing type). It is very strong but I would guess maybe 25% as heavy in physical weight as (true)old-school wrought iron would be. All in all a good-looking unit a fair price-the descriptive photo is accurate-no surprises. Hardware to assemble shelves comes in a small plastic bag attached to the shipping box at one corner (inside) via a string and can be overlooked or perhaps lost. Shipping was quick and I just ordered another!

FYI, Both of my units arrived with all the hardware.

There are two things that went a bit off the plan One wood panel arrived damaged slightly. The corner is chipped off.

The box it arrived in wasn't damaged, just one of the wooden shelves will require work or replacement.

Also, both shelves i ordered had missing set of screws.

Whoever packed the shelves should pay attention i guess...

I would expect the missing parts to be shipped asap.
