The product description clearly states, "Measures 24 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 31 inches high." The actual product measures 24 inches wide by 12 inches deep by *19* inches high. I intended to use this as a 31" high shelf to hold a specific item in my closet. Other than that, it is as it is described.

I bought this organizer for my 2 daughters shoes. The shoes are no more than a size toddler 11. I could barely fit them in. My daughter's size 9 rain boots didn't fit at all. The idea is a great little space saver but it doesn't really do the trick because the shoes really don't fit well inside each slot. Also the slots do not stay put. They keep sliding out of the organizer.

I was iffy about this item after ordering it and THEN reading the reviews. There were good things said as well as complaints about the assembly, size of cubbys, durability etc. I received my order yesterday, took the box to my kitchen with a screwdriver and a hammer in hand (equipped with my common sense) and had this item put together quickly and durable! I was very pleased with the construction and then feared "now the shoes won't fit..." WRONG! Ladies, I wear a size 8 and have a pair of high wedges in one cub about 3 pairs of sandals in another. Now grant it I can not fit my high heel boots cuz by the time you bend over the legging there isn't room for the other boot, so that takes 2 cubbys. Pack your shoes the way you buy them in a box, with one flipped over onto the other and you won't have any problems! (Unless they are BIG boxes in which case doesn't common sense tell YOU they won't fit?) I ordered another one last night immediately! Now that the front door is organized I look forward to one in my closet. I have nothing but good things to say about this item.

Assembly was pretty easy, no missing parts and it seems sturdy enough for everyday use.

I wear a women's size 8, and am able to fit all of my normal shoes in the cubby holes, including my four-inch stilettos. I can fit both sides of one pair in a single cubby hole, if I invert one of them so they are facing each other and are more compact. No, it will not fit my boots, but after reading other reviews I knew not to expect that. Overall I'm pleased with it, as it fits in my closet and organizes the majority of my shoes in a way that's easy for me to look through and access.

If you're on the fence, I'd say get it, just know that it will be storage for flip flops, flats, and heels vs. boots.

Rubbermaid Configurations Sliding Wire Basket

Ordered the deluxe 4-8' closet system and several accessories for both me and my husband's 8' closets. I ordered just one sliding wire basket for myself to see how it was (it was a little pricey). This is a big basket: 23.5" wide and 7.25" high. Because it is 18" deep, it extends past the 12" shelves. I personally had a difficult time installing the basket. It installs the same way as the sliding pants racks, which I really had a hard time installing. Even my husband complained and he's pretty handy. Just read the instructions carefully, and keep a screwdriver within arm's reach once you start inserting the brackets into the uprights. However, once installed, the sliding wire basket is wonderful. It glides in and out and holds a lot of stuff. The whole Rubbermaid Configurations closet system is affordable, attractive, and for the most part simple to install. I highly recommend all of it.

This is a great basket that holds a lot and is extremely sturdy. The glide is as smooth as could be wished for -far nicer than I expected from a do-it-yourself closet-in-a-box system.

I agree with other reviewers that this piece is tricky to install. The rest of the Rubbermaid Configurations family of products is super-easy to install, which makes the complexity and difficulty of installing this one item a bit surprising.

Also surprising (as another reviewer noted) is the price. I purchased 2 full closet kits for 49.99 each (Gold Box special). Paying the same price for one drawer that you pay for the entire closet unit does indeed seem ridiculous.

As a sturdy, well-built drawer, this item shouldn't necessarily be cheap. But the price is too high relative to the overall cost of the closet. $100 for a couple drawers is going to match or exceed the price of just about any closet kit you can buy here on Amazon -that just doesn't add up, so to speak.

One final note: There is another drawer you can get for the Configurations system. It's a soft-sided "canvas sliding basket" that costs far less ($15-20 for the medium or $25-30 for the large). It's far less sturdy and doesn't glide nicely at all. It may do for less regular use, such as a winter storage closet, attic, basement, or other such storage area. But for everyday use (e.g., bedroom or bathroom closet), the wire basket is the way to go. It will stand up to repeated regular use.

The basket itself is great and huge it holds a ton of clothes/socks/whatever. Setup of the basket installing the arms which it mounts with took maybe 3 minutes per basket (I bought 2 of them). They slide/glide in and out perfectly and make the closet look very professional. I ordered this with the 8 foot Rubbermaid Configurations kit. The entire kit cost me $119 yet these baskets were $50 each? I paid $100 for 2 basket accessories yet the entire closet kit itself only cost $119? Something doesn't seem right.

Anyway, these baskets are awesome and the configurations closet system + these baskets make a great replacement for a dresser.

I ordered these drawers because I was re-organizing my closet and wanted to get the most of my space, while also leaving the option for re-organizing or changing the way the closet is structured in a couple of years or as my space needs evolve. I love that with this type of system (rubbermaid) I can constantly change/add/subtract elements to my closet. I did not go with a set kit, but purchased items at my local hardware store and customized it with online components.

Pros:

-These were free to ship on amazon, were 8 dollars less online than in the store! Score!

-They shipped FAST! I got them a day ahead of schedule.

-THe look sort of small, but I combined my sock/bra/sports bra/underwear/swimsuit drawers all into ONE sliding drawer!

-They just look so nice and uniform when all lined up.

-The sliding mechanism is really nice and smooth.

-They come in modern titanium color...for a price.

-You can fit a lot of drawers in a small space, each takes up 8 inches on your mounting brackets.

Cons:

-Although the packaging was perfect, 1/3 drawers I ordered had some terrible bending in the basket and looked pretty crunched out of the box, I was able to straighten it myself thankfully.

-The screws that hold the brackets to the sliding mechanism are very small and hard to handle, I spent a few minutes just trying to get the position right that would allow tehm to line up and kept dropping the tiny screws repeatedly.

-THere are no directions telling you how far apart to place the hanging wall mounts that you must have to mount these ( mount brackets 24 inches apartI clicked my basket in and then screwed the brackets into my wall to avoid any mistakes)

-There is no top for the top of the highest drawer, you have to buy more brackets and shelving unless you want it open.

-They seem sort of overpriced, but I am really enjoying them so far

Stork Craft Aspen with Drawer Dressing Table

Do not purchase Storkcraft products. I checked everything and Storkcraft rated so well in safety, but getting a product that looks new is impossible. We have to keep returning our Storkcraft products because they are shipped broken. The pieces that are not broken are poor quality for example, the finish is sloppy and does not cover the whole piece. Unless you want to pay full price for a nursery that looks like it was put together from a cheap garage sale, stay way from Storkcraft. This may be why Babys R Us does not carry much of this anymore.

We just assembled this last night and so far so good! It looks great in person I love the sleigh look of it. It seems like good quality although we have not used it yet since baby is not here yet. The drawer seems sturdy and will come in handy. The only thing is the two shelves are made out of a semi-flimsy white material (not wood) but when you secure the shelves in the wood sides, they are very sturdy. Once you put items on the shelves you don't notice them either. I think most changing tables use the same materials for the bottom shelves.

Also warning do not buy a contoured changing pad with this! It comes with a thin, but perfect fit changing pad and strap. We bought the contoured changing pad thinking that would work but it's too high for the top (covers the nice scalloped design on the back) and you can't screw in the pad because of that scalloped thing. You need a changing table dresser or one that has no decorative piece on the top in order to fit a contoured pad.

The only thing that I found wrong with this so far is that when I recieved it, it was broke. The left hand bar at the end of the table was broke, and the dowel was stuck in the spot wher it should have been. My husband had to bore out the spot where it should be placed and then replace the dowels. It looked like someone had previously had the changing table and returned it and they sent it out to whom ever ordered it again next.

I purchased the Aspen Stages Crib (Cherry) also. So I purchased this changing table and the Beatrice Armoire to match. When I received it I was VERY pleased. It had a minor scuff on the front of the left arm, but it wasn't a big enough deal to me to send back for another one. It is absolutely beautiful and matches my crib wonderfully. The drawer is great. I love that I can hold things in it without them being visible on the shelves. The pad seems to be comfortable and the strap is easily removable for those that don't want it. On the other hand, it screws in underneath the top panel so it won't come off on its own. Overall, the changing table is very sturdy. Well worth the money. (...)

I ordered the Aspen crib, Beatrice Combo Unit, the Hutch and the Aspen changing table. For some reason it took 7 weeks to get the changing table, while the rest of the furniture got here in about a week. I would definitely suggest ordering this particular furniture early. For some reason this line has problems from time to time and backorders their product.

The package was in great condition and all the pieces were undamaged. I did notice a few small nicks and scarves, but nothing to really notice once the table was put together.

Once you put the table together it looks great. It is very sturdy and very beautiful. It looks good with the other furniture.

I didn't rate it 5 stars because the directions on the table are not 100% easy to read, and I found this piece to be the hardest to put together from this collection. I also didn't like the fact that they used plastic pieces to align the furniture, because a few of them broke when I was assembling the unit. Also the changing pad is a bit thin and from other reviews I gathered that buying an additional changing pad doesn't really work.

Upside:

* Looks absolute beautiful and matches the other furniture from the line well.

* Very sturdy, doesn't look or feel as flimsy as some other changing tables.

* The draw is very functional, great place for storing diapers and receiving blankets away from dust.

* You can easily attach a diaper station to the side of the table, with easy access and no fear of the table collapsing.

* The two bottom shelves, though appear thin, are very sturdy and allow for great storage option. Wicker baskets look great on the shelves.

Downside:

* Directions could have been better.

* I had problems with a couple of the screws, one never screwed in properly and will have to be replaced.

* The plastic spacers that hold the wood together break easily and because the shape is different on the two sides would be very difficult to replace.

Overall once you are done you have a GREAT looking changing table. I am not sorry I bought it.

Although the description states it's a 3-Shelf, the Origami R5-01 is actually a 4-Shelf rack. I love these 3 and 4-Tier steel constructed racks. They do everything they're advertised to do. I have all 3 sizes too, and thanks to Amazon's FREE Super Saver Shipping Discounts they arrived quickly via UPS 2nd Day Air. I couldn't find a better price for all 3 sizes anywhere else. Takes about 30 seconds each to set up. I didn't write "assemble" because there is none. Saw these on HSN. Ordered one and it was terrific! Once I saw how great, went onto Amazon. Now get shipping free with Prime! Have 5 in total. Completely rearranged my basement after I lost the whole thing in hurricane Irene. I need the storage but don't want to risk further loss fro water damage. Needed metal shelving at reasonable cost. These are sturdy, easy to assemble. Relatively inexpensive and metal . Now I store stuff in waterproof bins on these great shelves. Highly recommend don't think twice. They are great. I confess I ordered two of these from the shopping channel, and although they turned out to be a great product, I ordered two white ones and was sent 1 white and 1 pewter. Not a real big deal since they are going in the garage, but it would have been nice to have a matching set. Now I am looking at Amazon which has them about 40.00 cheaper, and free shipping....Wow! As far as the condition they were in upon receipt, yes the boxes were banged up, but you almost have to expect that, it's a pretty heavy item. So as far as shipping is concerned, I can't really agree that it's any better threw the shopping channel.

I'm going to pick up a couple more of these, because they make your garage look awesome....like you're proud to open the door again and show off a little!

I have long shelves in the closet with nothing separating one stack of clothes from the other...it was always a challenge to keep the stacks neat especially since the husband is always in a hurry and just grabs from the piles. With this product I now have great dividers for each stack and it is easier for him to keep his clothes organized. They are very sturdy and stay in place without sliding around which is great.

These are excellent shelf dividers. I tried several kinds without much success until I found these. They are nice and sturdy, firmly clip to the shelf and are very stable. I got some for my pantry shelves, linen closet and cupboards. I have been pleasantly surprised at how much they have helped me in organizing, especially in my pantry. It has helped me see at a quick glance how much of a certain item I have left or what I need. Before I put these dividers in, my canned soup was always getting mixed in with canned vegetables. It just makes me feel good to be organized! I will probably purchase more. By the way, don't bother purchasing the flimsy wire ones because they are not worth even attempting to use! I was very disappointed with those, but EXTREMELY happy with these sturdy ones pictured.

I don't rate very often, but I love these and they are well priced. I have shelves that are wide and I put two folded stacks of clothes, but they always fall over. This fixed the problem and it looks so much neater. No more refolding or messy shelves. I am going to buy some more for my other shelves. They fit well on my shelves. With a little strength you can bend the clip part so it fits tightly on just about any thickness of shelf. They arrive quickly too!

Very nice wood but the hardware is very cheap, bendable. There is a very fine line between tight and overtight, and once it is overtightened the part is ruined and the shelves will be flimsy. I've put together many pieces of furniture with the same system and this is the worst quality hardware I have ever used.

I ordered this product as a small bookshelf for my 12-year-olds room. It was pretty well wrapped, but it already had indents from manufacturing on it before I ever did anything to it. All of the hardware included was well wrapped but when I opened it, all of it was completely rusted, not only that but there wasn't enough of it either. I called Winsome Wood's customer service and they sent me new hardware. After a week, I got the new hardware and there wasn't enough to put the piece together. I called customer service again who was not the most pleasant, and they sent me another set of hardware and this time they shorted me hardware. I was so disgusted I put it together with what I could, hoping my son wouldn't know the difference.

After 3-4 weeks of waiting to put it together, it is cheap and floppy. What a piece of junk!!

I was looking for an inexpensive fix for my cluttered desk. I have my Fuji scanner on the top and utilize the two shelves to sort items to scan and items to file. I file and scan every Friday. This corner shelf opened a huge area of my desk now for other work. It is a simple material so it may not last forever but it works great for now. If I can get 2 years out of it it works great! Have 8 of these units in my garage; some for over 10 years now. Bought from Costco (same vendor/manuf now it seems). Easy to assemble and reconfigure (if you have a rubber mallet to get them back apart!). Use the large wheels and not adjusting legs. Have even reconfigured to half-height and used in Kitchen for a time. Overall, still look like new and easy to keep clean (almost self cleaning). Only one down side is loading them up when on wheels. If you load with over ~250lbs on a single rack, they are near impossible to wheel around as they start bending and deforming if pushing from the middle or upper half of rack. While they claim 600lbs per shelf possible, I find 250 lbs on a shelf and the shelf starts bowing. Had been storing 40 boxes of books at one time and now dialysis "water" pack supplies. Overall, worth every dollar extra over other garage storage solutions; like angle-iron shelves. Known by many as "restaurant" shelves as this is where you see them most often. They are good enough for kitchen use. Even used them with a local sports club where I lashed on extra shelves as sides to create a lockable, enclosed cage that rolled. (Simply lashing side to the vertical pole sufficed as a hinge -sturdy and easily moved). Stored our equipment securely in a shared storage area of a school gym. Bought some smaller units from office supply store to use in linen closets for blankets, pillows, etc. And smaller black-anodized units to use as printer (added wood top), speaker, and audio equipment stands.

It looks terrific in that empty corner, and is very functional. We're remodeling the basement now, and will have a bedroom there. Another of these shelves (maybe two more) will be part of the plan.

I love the shelves, and they work really well in my office. I do wish that the shelves were an extra few inches wider because I am a bit limited on what I can put on the shelves. A thicker shelf as well would help a bit with weight, so I'm a bit limited there too. But I do have some books, CDs, vinyl albums, and misc. knicknacks safely on the shelves.

I was not expecting actual solid wood with staining, that would be naive for this price, so to complain about the quality from that respect I believe is unfair. The product arrived with no blemishes to the finish and was easy to put together. I did need help getting it mounted though. It was longer than the space I needed to fill so I just left off the last shelf section and it worked perfectly! Looks fantastic and serves exactly the function I needed which was nick knacks and pictures.
