Alera SW59PO36SR Stackable Posts For Wire Shelving, 36 in. High, Silver, 4/Pack

Alera SW59PO36SR Stackable Posts For Wire Shelving, 36 in. High, Silver, 4/PackThese do the job for which they were intended holding up shelves. The one complaint I have is that the Alera posts have thread adapters which are very slightly different thread pitch or diameter than the other brands, however since they are a wee bit smaller, a few wraps of teflon tape allows them to grab and firmly attach. For the price, they're a much deal than some other name brand posts.

With these you can cheat the instructions and increase shelf height to 108" (or higher, I guess).

Very nice :)

Product arrived on time and quality is first rate. The stackable posts are heavy duty and easily suppot the two shelves that I paired with them. I would highly recommend these stackable posts.

Alera Clack stackable post are great! It allows you to easily add on shelves or half-height shelf units. They also come with levelers for uneven floors. Which was a plus for me. And you combine two posts you can get 72" high shelving.

BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN MICROWAVE SHELF W. OUTLET IN BLACK

BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN MICROWAVE SHELF W. OUTLET IN BLACKPros:

Good value

Looks nice overall

Looks mostly like in the picture

Convenient design with space for a variety of items

You can pull out the second shelf, but it is well-built enough to not just roll back and forth unintentionally.

I really like the siding that prevents items from falling off.

Several outlets

Would take under an hour for one person to put it together, if you got everything right the first time around.

Without the wheels, it's a very stable, solid piece. More so than I would've expected for the low price.

Cons:

The shelves are not actually made of the wood they appear to be made of, that's just a thin layer on top of some other cheap wood. Only noticeable if you stand close to it though, which visitors probably wouldn't do.

Contrary to what the picture suggests (some white stuff, whatever that is in the picture), the sides and back of the shelf are made of cheap, thin black plastic, which is clearly visible if you look at the cart from the side.

The outlets are only 2-pronged, which makes this microwave cart useless for most microwaves unless you have more outlets to spare in the area. However, I knew this beforehand, so I made an informed decision to buy it.

Approx. 80 pieces. The instructions consisted of nothing but TWO drawings, no words, no photos. You can imagine how difficult it is to determine what goes where and in which order. I even had to look at the photo online to establish which piece in the drawing is a metal shelf, which wood.

Had to redo a number of pieces because they require a specific order. Unfortunately, with only two pictures, there is no way to establish the order from the instructions. Kind of a hit/miss process as you put it together. I wasted 30-45 minutes doing things in the wrong order.

There were no screws small enough to go through the tiny holes in the metal to attach the power outlet. I'll have to go buy some.

Some pieces were not accounted for in either the list of pieces or in the drawing, yet were essential if you want to get the wheels onto the cart. The letter indicated in the picture for the wheels was not the correct letter (no illustration there of wheels + pieces, just three letters and an arrow pointing to where they go). It referred to screws, when all you need is four large black plastic pieces that were non-existent on paper.

There were scratches on the metal, and one metal piece was bent, as though they had been used before, taken apart, and re-packaged for the next customer. I don't care that much since we just need it temporarily for a rental, but this might bother some people.

Conclusion: I don't regret buying this piece and I'm glad I have it because it makes up for a serious lack of counter space in this house. And considering the price, I still thing this item is good value. I just wish the instructions had been made (a LOT) better, and that the wood+plastic were a little nicer looking (and not damaged). I recommend buying this piece, just as long as you are aware of what you're getting.

I love this thing, my only complaint is that the electric strip in the back only has two prong holes, which is no good for our microwave or toaster oven...which somewhat cancels out any point in it having an electric outlet in it to start with.

Horrible directions. Very poorly made. Buyer beware. Missing parts. Costs ove to much return over the top. Wanted a restocking fee on an item that wasn't right to start with.

I needed a baker's rack for my microwave. I have had one with an electric outlet and it made plugging in the microwave so much easier and safer than using an extension cord. And it has a nice look to it.

SEI Black "X" Etagere

SEI Black 'X' EtagereI really like the way this thing looks and how sturdy it is. I didn't even mount it to the wall, and it holds up fine. (I don't have children, just a dog.)

That said, I almost pitched the pieces out the window before I ever got the unit assembled. The assembly isn't HARD. It's just awkward for one person to do alone.

See, you have to put the crossbar pieces into an X shape, and they just nestle together. They don't anchor. That's great because you need the flexibility to find the pre-drilled holes. But it's not so cool when you're trying to align the shelves perpendicular to said crossbar by yourself. After many attempts over two days, I ended up using my couch, some books, whatever I could find to stabilize the shelves. Then I attached the crossbar, carefully flipped the piece over and repeated the process.

I am a fairly handy person, so if you aren't good with a wrench or a screwdriver I recommend you buy a pizza and invite at least two handy friends to help.

this was exactly what was advertised. it was easy to assemble, looks great, and is really solid! I anticipate using it for years to come.

I purchased this item for our living room. It came within a week of ordering. I assembled it myself, but I would recommend two people put it together. It was very easy, just awkward. And if you aren't careful you could break it, which would be sad. It's a very nice and elegant looking piece and I love the spaciousness about it. My decorations and picture frames look great on it and since it is open, I can run the electric cable for my melt warmer through the back with it being complicated. There is a 20 pd weight limit for each shelf, just fyi. I love it and would buy it again, if I had the room.

It's just awkward. It came with missing screw holes and areas where no holes were supposed to be, were 'touched-up'.

This has nice sturdy construction and my husband didn't have any trouble putting it together (but he used to assemble furniture for stores, so that might have something to do with it.) The finish is even and it fits together well.

Household Essentials Sliding Chrome Cabinet Organizer

Household Essentials Sliding Chrome Cabinet Organizer, 14 1/2-Inch by 17 3/4-InchThis sliding shelf holds quite a bit of household items. It's easy to install, very strongly made. I have purchased 3 of these useful units and all are excellent in quality. I have a similar shelf bought from a popular home DIY store and it's junky as compared to this product.

Shelf was very easy to install and has a neat professional appearance. It was well packaged to prevent any damage in shipment, and I would buy this shelf again. One other note: drawer slides are on the bottom of shelf and don't give the same degree of rigidity as slides that mount on side of drawer. Think of a hack saw blade: easy to push on the flat surface and make blade bend; if you push on edge of blade in will not bend. This means shelf sags a little when fully extended, and also that shelf cannot support as much weight as a unit with side mounted drawer slides.

The basket is strong enough for pots and pans. The sliding mechanism is smooth, and makes getting to lower cabinets a lot easier. I ordered a 2nd set.

I was looking for a sliding organizer for under the bath room sink. I have metal plates in my ankle and my wife has 2 metal knees, so it is hard for us to get down to find things under the sink. This sliding cabinet organizer works great for our purposes. Loaded it slides all the way out so we can retrieve what were after without getting down on our hands and knees.

2x4basics 90124 ShelfLinks Custom Storage System, Black - 6 Pack

2x4basics 90124 ShelfLinks Custom Storage System, Black - 6 PackI was skeptical at first plastic? You can't beat these for organizing your garage or basement. I built one set and will build 2 more. These brackets come as a six pack. I used 16 2x4's (4 per shelf x3, plus 4 uprights) to make a 6' tall by 8' wide set of shelves. So total, it ends up costing about $50 for a set of shelves ($2.50 for a 2x4).

I purchased a set of 2x4 basics as I needed shelving in my garage. The day they arrived I picked up 16 2x4x8's for about $2.00 each (I used four green treated ones because my garage often floods and used these for the uprights) The project was fairly easy and fun. I'm not what anyone would call a "handy" guy, but I built these in an afternoon and they are stong and now full of stuff. The directions aren't very useful, but it didn't matter because much of the process is self explanatory. My only warning is that the screws included are fairly worthless. I spun the heads off of about six of them before I gave up and used some I had bought at the store which worked much better. I recomend getting a package of decent 1" #10 wood screws. These added about $3.00 to my cost but probably saved me from having to replace my garage window after throwing my drill through it. All in all, I like the system and the product. Gonna build two more in my basement. Wish they came in larger packs at a discount.

I purchased these shelf-links to organize my garage. I used 3/4" plywood for the shelves, which turned out fantastic and added the "flatness" to the unit I wanted. They offer such a variety of set-ups they can be used in any way your imagination will allow. And I think they were a great product for the price.

To begin I only have irregular familiarity with carpentry and home improvement. My first big improvement goal in the house was to get the mess of stacked boxes in my garage organized and off the floor. Enter 2x4 basics: a solid product providing great function and versatility.

Application A hugely positive ability to do about any sort of design with this product can nearly be a drawback. By this I mean that the packaging instructions simply show where the screws mount into the ShelfLink (SL). Everything else is up to the end user. I bought two packs (for 12 total SLs) which allowed me to do four shelves eight feet high and across; 1 top shelf, 2 middle shelves and one "just off the ground" shelf. The shelf I used is eight feet long so there are three supports vice two for added rigidity.

Materials The SLs are lightweight and the resin feels like reliability, as odd as the phrase may sound. The included screws are strong and don't strip easily, a testament to further quality. Outside of the product itself, going with an eight feet tall, eight feet wide shelf allows the simple purchase of 2x4s. For this project I was able to justify buying a power saw and a rubber mallet.

Directions/Assembly The directions instruct you to make an appropriate amount of lower shelves and a top shelf. The lower shelves mount the SL on two lengths of "A", the uncut span of your intended shelf (eight feet in my case). The top shelf mounts the SL on four lengths of "A". I started with the top shelf first. The directions specify a 1/2 inch gap between the boards. Using the top shelf as a sort of template made the lower shelf assembly much easier.

There wasn't a sense of "The instructions say to do this"; more one of "If I do this what I'm making will more resemble the picture". The large graphic instructions don't provide printed instructions on how to go from step to step, rather indicating the process for where to screw what together. I managed by myself to wiggle the hefty spans on to the supports. Any design using a center support I would advise the help of a buddy to help shimmy the boards up the support.

2x4basics is quite clear that in a single shelf set up (one that is six feet across, not needing a center support as my eight feet shelf would) subtract 6 7/16" for the additional lower shelf 2x4s to fit snugly in place. The math to figure out what length I would need for my length "B" boards (the boards wedging between the supports) could have been simple. I won't know. Instead I measured the gap between slots (43.5") and cut my boards to that length; this length would not be snug enough and I would have to go out and cut up 44" lengths. If you are not using a mallet (with some force!) to put your length "B" boards in place do not expect a strong shelf. Without any formal training or engineering education I can only speculate that the pressure from a slightly longer board creates a torsional tension resulting in an extremely sturdy shelf. 2x4basics' instructions are clear that you should be whacking these boards into place.

Once I got the lower shelves aligned at the right height, screwing the remaining mounting points was just a matter of time. Before I really realized it I had a large organizational tool I had built myself in my garage.

All in all a great product for a DIY-er of any aptitude. The product design has great tolerances allowing for user error while still maintainin rock solid function. The use of 2x4s also allows the end user a choice in remaining materials cost.

This project cost $100 ($40 of SL, $60 of wood). Yes you can buy a steel shelf or the tupperware shelf for a bit less or the same. For what you do pay, though, you will not get as much space (about 85 cubic feet), custom design, or the simple satisfaction of creating something. I am very satisfied with the 2x4basics ShelfLinks System.

Want 2x4basics 90124 ShelfLinks Custom Storage System, Black - 6 Pack Discount?

Ran out of boards after putting together the 2x4 basics work table. If you notice most shelves are supported by only 2 boards.

This came together pretty nicely easier than the work table.

The only math really involved here is subtracting the 6 7/16" (just do 6.5" works fine)

In hindsight I wish I had just gotten 8' length 2x4s because 8' is the "max" span you should go between braces.

I bought a bunch of 10 footers weeks before ordering this and now have a bunch of 2' stubs.

Next chance I'll get I'll go to the lumber yard for more wood to finish it.

Sauder August Hill Corner Entertainment Stand - Oiled Oak

Sauder August Hill Corner Entertainment Stand - Oiled OakSaw this cornor tv stand and wanted to buy it. shipping was to arrive around 17th to the 20th was fine with that. Two days later as i am pulling out of the garage i see the tv stand ready to be brought in. Was amazed about how fast it came and happy as can put together sooner. product was easy to put together and looks great. all the pieces lined up every screw needed was in the bag as there have been times bought some thing only to have pieces missing. If the time comes and looking for more pieces either another tv stand or some thing diffent will look in to Wayfair first.

I recently purchased this TV stand and it looks just like the picture and is very sturdy. Im not very good at assembling things, but the instructions are very very easy to understand, and although it took me over an hour to put it together, I was eventually able to do it! Im overall very happy with this product and I would recommend it!

The stand arrived and was everything it was advertised to be. Sturdy and fits nicely in our corner. It was quite "involved" to assemble it, and the one complaint I have is with the cabinet doors it was really tricky to get them attached in a manner that they closed correctly, and they seem a bit flimsy i.e., if you put a little weight on them when they're open, they could easily get off-center. All in all though, this was a great value, and I'm glad I found it.

Corner Bookshelf in Rubbed Black - Coaster

Corner Bookshelf in Rubbed Black - CoasterThis furniture piece is well constructed and very easy to assemble. It is great for displaying items. My child uses it for books, stuffed animals, and photo frames. It looks great; I have received many compliments on it.

This item was shipped over 2 weeks after i ordered... When i received it, there were chips in a few of the shelves and one was cracked along the seem.... It was NOT the shipping, because the box it came in was in perfect condition... I cant believe they would see the awful chips and cracks on the shelves yet still wrap it up and send it out! For the $ I paid, was very upset... WAY too heavy to try to ship back.. so i am going to try and use some black paint to cover up the ugly mess.... Also, some weird marks on it.. As if the paint has already started to fade and you can see light spots to the wood... Other wise, the shelf fits perfect in my living room corner and doesn't seem to tip at all. Very sturdy..

One Drawer One Door Corner Cabinet

One Drawer One Door Corner CabinetIt is very attractive, fits in corner nicely. It had some chips and delamination in small areas. The packaging was very good, so none of the damage was from shipping. I have repaired the chips and delamination, but would not buy from this seller again. Pictures do not show the quality of these items. I think it is over priced for it's quality.

Cappuccino Book Shelf / Case

Cappuccino Book Shelf / CaseNice product. Price is good but the shipping then makes it a bit pricy for a book shelf. A bit hard to put together because the sides aren't labeled and I had them facing the wrong way so I had to take it all apart. In theory it isn't hard to put together, but knowing which way those sides face to begin with (before I tried to put in the back rails) would have saved me an hour of time. TIP: The sides with the MOST holes face inward. One HUGE draw back is that the shelves aren't adjustable and aren't very tall so taller books/items won't fit on the shelves.
