I bought these for the basement in an area where I could not install wall shelves. I have three of them side by side. I was really busy and didn't have time to screw together metal shelves and these were really quick to assemble and quite sturdy.

The shelves are as described except the dimensions are woefully off. Each individual shelf is 36" wide X 18" deep. The total unit assembled is indeed approximately 57" high. The extra size kills my ability to set them in the space I had planned out. Otherwise they seem sturdy, and at least the package I opened didn't seem to have damage on any of the parts.

The shelves are not as long, nor as wide as I'd like. I have a lot of Holiday bins that I intended to store on this but it looks like I will just need to store odd (smaller) size bins and misc. items. But having said that, it is sturdy and Very EZ to put together.I like it but instead of ordering more of this size, going to try to find it a bit bigger.

This shelf is made inexpensively, but suits its purpose perfectly. I had no trouble installing it with basic tools and it was easier to center than I imagined. To install, you must screw a wooden bracket to the wall first. My bracket was off center because I wanted it to be secured into the wall studs. This problem was easily remedied by the way they made the shelf with a larger slot than the bracket. I was able to slide the shelf over so that it was center and still secure it to the bracket. Easy. Looks great, works great. It is almost all hollow, so it is not for a heavy load at all.

Received this shelf if the mall today and it is BLACK not espresso. The shelf also looks very cheap. Very disappointed.

Without the wheels, it's a very stable, solid piece. More so than I would've expected for the low price.

Cons:

The shelves are not actually made of the wood they appear to be made of, that's just a thin layer on top of some other cheap wood. Only noticeable if you stand close to it though, which visitors probably wouldn't do.

Contrary to what the picture suggests (some white stuff, whatever that is in the picture), the sides and back of the shelf are made of cheap, thin black plastic, which is clearly visible if you look at the cart from the side.

The outlets are only 2-pronged, which makes this microwave cart useless for most microwaves unless you have more outlets to spare in the area. However, I knew this beforehand, so I made an informed decision to buy it.

Approx. 80 pieces. The instructions consisted of nothing but TWO drawings, no words, no photos. You can imagine how difficult it is to determine what goes where and in which order. I even had to look at the photo online to establish which piece in the drawing is a metal shelf, which wood.

Had to redo a number of pieces because they require a specific order. Unfortunately, with only two pictures, there is no way to establish the order from the instructions. Kind of a hit/miss process as you put it together. I wasted 30-45 minutes doing things in the wrong order.

There were no screws small enough to go through the tiny holes in the metal to attach the power outlet. I'll have to go buy some.

Some pieces were not accounted for in either the list of pieces or in the drawing, yet were essential if you want to get the wheels onto the cart. The letter indicated in the picture for the wheels was not the correct letter (no illustration there of wheels + pieces, just three letters and an arrow pointing to where they go). It referred to screws, when all you need is four large black plastic pieces that were non-existent on paper.

There were scratches on the metal, and one metal piece was bent, as though they had been used before, taken apart, and re-packaged for the next customer. I don't care that much since we just need it temporarily for a rental, but this might bother some people.

Conclusion: I don't regret buying this piece and I'm glad I have it because it makes up for a serious lack of counter space in this house. And considering the price, I still thing this item is good value. I just wish the instructions had been made (a LOT) better, and that the wood+plastic were a little nicer looking (and not damaged). I recommend buying this piece, just as long as you are aware of what you're getting.

I love this thing, my only complaint is that the electric strip in the back only has two prong holes, which is no good for our microwave or toaster oven...which somewhat cancels out any point in it having an electric outlet in it to start with.

Read several reviews before I purchased If you're looking for something to simply separate a long metal shelves without much strength these work great, but if you're looking for something to hold up blankets, sheets, clothes etc. these are not for you they attach at the front of the shelf & the back not in between so they are a bit unstable. However, the did worked great for my needs.

These dividers are exactly what I was looking for and work wonderfully. No stores carry these and I was very happy to find them online and to have them shipped so expeditiously.

These work fine. Comments about bending etc. are unrealistic. These are metal clip devices which hold on to you existing shelfs with small attachments what do you expect. Unless your house is in a continuous earthquake zone, they will help clothes stay straight.

Initial delivery was short 3 boxes. Amazon corrected the problem within 3 days of notification. One person can assemble almost the entire shed but two are needed to do the roof. Putting the shed up took about 16 hours. Directions were good; doing the inventory would have been easier if the part numbers that are stamped into many of the parts would have been referenced. The floor outer panels should be identified as those where the doors would be installed, would help to orientate the shed for door placement. One small part was missing; a call to the manufacture got the part to me in 2 days. The shed looks good and seems to be made of good materials. Only "cheap" parts are window mechanisms and large shelves. There were no leaks after several heavy rains. The shed platform must be absolutely level, the roof assembly is where any deviations show-up!

Worth the money I paid. It requires at least 3 people to put together. Lot of pieces to put together. One of the sides did not align correctly, but to much trouble to request a replacement. Had to make adjustments. It looks great.

I love this bed frame. It was exactly as I thought it would be (except for some damage inflicted during shipping). Assembly was a bit annoying in that the side boards didn't want to go into the proper slot very easily, but once it was together it was sturdy and gorgeous. The only downside for us is that we bought the box springs for our new mattress and this frame is not meant for box springs (which I knew when I bought the frame after buying the mattress).

The bed is great, not hard to set up MEASUREMENTS ALL MATCHED. SHIPPED very QUICKLY for its size, and a GREAT PRICE! The only DOWNFALL, THE HEADBOARD isn't exactly a 'Large bed' height. After much research online I finally decided to purchase a California King Bed Frame from this company. The price was good and shipping seemed reasonable. However, the actual time for shipping ended up being just over 2 weeks and then the item arrived damaged. The delivery guys really didn't even care that they boxes were pretty banged up. When I opened up the headboard I found that it had been badly smashed in multiple places. Their customer service was okay but now I have to wait another 1-2 weeks for a replacement and the company that they said would come and pick up the damaged headboard still hasn't showed up after 4 days. Overall, their products are okay, but don't expect great service or delivery. I would not purchase from this company again.

Putting this together was the hardest and the most confusing thing in the instructions I was to use 50 nails and I have like 20 nails left over and I don't see what the 50 nails are for. Be careful when putting this together because it will chip the paint easily and on top of that is very cheap wood. Be careful when trying to screw the nail in the wood the wood will chip and break off.

The COLOR of this product is misleading I bought this because it look like it could match my two side pieces and I wanted this to go in the middle of it..when I got this it looks like the crayon brown or a hersey candy chocolate. The Marble which is the top piece is like the only thing that is good quality or maybe the heaviest.

I will not reccommend this product to no one and I will never buy furniture online again I need to see the color for myself

Ikea Lack White Floating Shelf Concealed Mounting

I am very please with this. I got this to set a birdhouse on beside a picture. Remember to check you measurements this one is perfect for me but may be too large for your needs. they come in all sizes and not ornate in anyway. I wanted my birdhouse to show not the shelf. So remember that. If you are a modern decorator this would make a perfect shelf for whatever. I am not but find them useful to show off my goodies.

I needed to move my cable modem and router into my utility room and wanted them high and out of the way. I had seen this style of floating shelves before at Ikea but wasn't headed that way anytime soon. I was happy to find them on amazon at only a slight markup.

This shelf just has two screw hole slots on the back. You must put two screws into the wall (after measuring how far apart to put them) and the shelf just slides over the two screws and you're done.

When just going into sheetrock, I always suggest you use wall anchors as most screws aren't able to hold much weight at all in drywall as the drywall just isn't rigid enough to provide a solid hold for the screws.

I'd guess the cable modem and Wi-Fi router weigh a combined five pounds. The shelf feels quite solid with this weight and I'm not worried about it coming down.

When my wife saw it, her exact words were "Aww, that shelf is too pretty to put in the utility room!"

If you have decorative and semi light items or stuffed animals in a kids room, this shelf would suit your needs. It looks good and isn't too tough to install although I don't recommend it to anyone that needs to hold more than maybe ten pounds at the absolute max.

For installation, the best way I'd recommend is to get a roll of masking tape, stick a strip of tape to the wall roughly level where you want to put the shelf. Next get a level and put it on the tape. When you find the level point, use a pen or pencil to draw a straight line on the tape for you to mark where to put your screws.

Next, take a tape measure and measure from the middle of the first screw slot on the shelf to the middle of the second. Now go to your level masking tape line that you made and mark where to put your screws and wall anchors by just measuring the same distance you measured on the shelf and drawing a dot at the beginning and the end. Now pound in your wall anchors right through the tape, then remove the tape and put your screws in with maybe a quarter of an inch sticking out for the shelf to slide onto.

Keep in mind that the closer the screw is screwed into the wall, the tighter the shelf will fit and more secure it will feel. BUT if you screw in the screws too much, the shelf won't be able to catch them to slide over. Play a bit with the screw depth and you'll be fine.

Overall I like the product. I give it four stars only because I feel it should have come with wall anchors and screws as well as a template showing exactly how far apart to put the screws so you don't have to do the measuring dance I described above.

I would buy it again. I'm happy to answer any questions.

We purchased this shelf to hold a satellite receiver for wireless surround speakers. It works, however it is not flat. At first we thought it was because the shelf wasn't installed in a stud, so we moved it and attached it to a stud, however the problem still exists. To be clear, the shelf is level from left to right, but it leans from back to front if that makes sense... like it wants to fall off the wall...even with nothing on it.

In the end we kept it because it's unobtrusive and does the job, but it looks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa attached to our wall. Buyer beware!

...so I could examine one in its pristine state. Mine arrived a bit bent. Still usable, but bent nonetheless. Bent at the weld points-not the actual rails (the rails are straight as hell). the result is that it won't sit flat on a horizontal surface, but rather canters playfully; and when the contraption is inside the fridge, and you load a can from the top chute (which, admit it, is half the fun of this toy-er, space-saver) it "miscues" approximately 40% of the time, with the can turning perpendicular to the direction of travel, and preventing any further loading of cans until you reach waaaay back in the fridge and give the errant can a 90 degree twist. On the other hand, I can say that once all the cans have been loaded correctly, I have never had one "miscue" by removing one from the front.

I suspect this slight bent-ness (which I notice was mentioned in other reviews) may have more to do with OIA's shipping methods, rather than a quality control issue at the factory,... but that is totally a hunch. I have no evidence to support my theory.

I will be ordering another one, because the complaints are minor compared to the efficiency gained, and I will consider reporting any further discoveries in a future review.

P.S. Keep in mind that any canned beers (what? Oh, was I the only one using this thing for beer? well excuse me!) manufactured by Coors (e.g. keystone, coors light) are for some inexplicable reason, like, 1/16 of an inch taller than any other can. Their cans still fit (barely) in the can holder contraption, but the "miscue" rate shoots up drastically to say, 80%.

The big minus is that the metal bars that you hang the clothes on are so thin that they make creases in the clothes when they are dry. This drying rack looks high quality compared to other metal/wood drying racks that I see in store, and comes with a mesh on top. However, after light use I noticed that several bars have bent, so don't put heavy clothes/towels on it. One of the legs was also slightly bent because my wife was moving the rack around the house, but luckily it was easy to bend it back.

I was debating with myself on whether to give this item 3 star or 4 star, in the end I gave it 4 stars because I use it to dry my baby's clothes/towels so those are relatively lightweight, but if you have big towels to dry you should look for a sturdier drying rack

HyLoft 00720 36 in. Ceiling Mounted Shelf

Well built quality product, Not that bad to install. A real space saver. Makes use of un-used ceiling area. Best garage storage system available if you don't want floor standing shelves and want to get everything off the floor in the garage or storage rooms.

Hyloft Jr is a quality product. I have installed about 10 of the full sized units and this is my first Jr. I just looked at the pictures on the website and I noticed that the first 2 pictures must be the old Jr. and the last few are the new one. The new Jr. is not built as solidly as the full sized. 3 things about it are inferior:

1. Installing the top bracket is more difficult since instead of installing a small bracket you have the bracket and the rod which are one piece now. Getting the first screw in is hard with the rod that keeps floating around as you turn the screw.

2. The square tube steal frame rods are not tubes but U rods instead, which make the whole loft less able to hold a load. They could greatly increase the rod strength by welding even a small steal plate in the center of the rod since this is the weakest point. Looks like the old design was a mini version of the full sized but this new model is not and will not handle half the load.

3. The Jr when fully extended drops lower than the full sized by about an inch or so. This is annoying since I have a full sized and a Jr side by side and they do not line up. Seems like this would be an easy thing for the manufacturer to do and something they would have thought about since they seem to be a pretty detail oriented company.

Overall a good product but not for really heavy loads its rated at 150 lbs which seems accurate. Its a shame since this could be made to handle twice the load, I bet the old Jr design could have done that. I am sure they changed it to save money but I would have paid $5 or $10 more just to have the heavy duty design. Since the old design was literally a mini full sized unit that was more what I was expecting. Maybe they could release a Heavy Duty version of the Jr. I would buy it.

Objective: Bought 3 36" overhead shelves to create additional garage storage for luggage, camping, and christmas decorations. If system worked well, expand to create an L shape above the garage door to provide even more storage.

When designning the layout and area where you want to install this, know where the ceiling beams (studs) are. Don't assume all the beams are the same length. While the beams are 2ft apart, some extended from the wall in different length, some were horizontal and some were vertical. In my case, the beams at the corner of the ceiling "fanned" out in a square". Moving further from the wall they were horizontal and went across the entire ceiling. The direction of the beam (north south vs east west) will dictate the direction of the shelving.

Bottom line is make sure the beams accomodate the design layout you are trying to achieve. And lastly, due to not knowing this earlier on, the installation took much longer than anticipated. As I had to relocate them to a different part of the garage ceiling. Tip: Drill in the (2) ceiling bolts ONLY when you have all the hangers as you like them and test fit the shelves and clearance. This was one thing I did correctly, otherwise it would have been a nightmare to relocate to a different spot. I also used screws rather than the provided nails to "loose" fit the hangers. It was much easier to install and in my case uninstall.

By the way, I got the 36" system and with 24" beams you think multiple shelves would fit next to each other in a continuos piece. they do not, there is about a 4"-6" gap. So I may have considered the 45" system if I had known that ahead of time.

As for the product it is OK. It is your standard shelving. The hangers are a little wabbly but will hold.

The overall product is good. Solid materials. The starting nails, however, aren't worth much. After hammering the start nails supplied in the shipment, the heads popped off after after a few hits. I resorted to some wood screws that I had from a previous project.

The first unit is going to the hardest to put up. Afterwords, the rest of the units go up fairly quickly because you know what you're doing and you get used to working on the ceiling.

I purchased two of these storage systems. They fit together nicely. I was able to place several totes and other miscellaneous items on them. I am finally able to get both of my cars into the garage! Overall, I would recommend these to my friends. The only negative I can provide Not 100% satisfied with the stability of the support 'poles' that hang from the ceiling. The shelves tend to swing a little, but not a big deal.

This unit is more sturdy that I expected and looks very nice. We used this for a shelf in our living room and it works perfectly. It was very easy to put together, just make sure you have a drill at home because you will need to drill two holes in the wall to mount it. After mounting to the wall it is very secure and I am very pleased with this purchase!

The product came nicely and securely packaged. Directions were put together clearly. The product is solid and very stable.

My only critiques are:

1: the wood isn't perfectly smooth.

2: It said there was a template for the placement of the holes (for mounting to the wall), but I could not find any.

Once this shelf had been assembled, we noticed that a few of the pre-drilled holes were drilled from the wrong side, making the sheld next to impossible to hang. We thought perhaps the problem was in our assembly and went through step by step to recheck. We had done everything correctly, the fault was with the manufacturer. Not only were the holes improperly placed, but the cross-hatching was damaged in places. Very disappointing. I would not order this again.

The shelf arrived in about 20 pieces and the side slats had noticeable nicks and chips. Also, and more frustratingly, the wall-mount screws that were included were simply not long enough to attach through the apron and into the wall. The screws that are included are 1 1/2" and to penetrate the wall, you'll need at least 2 1/2" screws. Poor engineering and quality.

As long as you can find a stud, these shelves are great. They take a few minutes to install, set level and support a lot of weight. We use them to hold books and files near the ceiling and didn't want brackets showing underneath. Very pleased with the results.

I love this product. I have used it in 3 of our 5 bathrooms. However, in my opinion the secret is to use 1/2 inch glass shelves. These are rather expensive but make a statement. When using the thick glass shelves the items on the shelves are almost unimportant. I have also given this item as gifts to friends and family.

This is a great product idea, and the actual brackets are very nice.

I had two problems with this product. First, it comes with little rubber sticky things to step the size of the bracket down to a smaller shelf. They would be great, but I only got 7 instead of 8 rubber sticky things. -1 star.

The other problem is the hardware they ship with is JUNK! The screw heads I received are the softest I've used in awhile, and almost immediately stripped. Then I had to drill out the screw and replace it with a drywall screw which I had around, which make the installation take a really long time. -1 Star

Besides these two glaring problems, this is a great product. I like the way it looks, and my kitchen shelf is up with three appliances on it, and it hasn't fallen down yet... ;)
