J.K. Adams 11-Inch-by-11-Inch Maple Wood Universal Spice Jar Carousel

The J.K. Adams Maple Wood Carousel is a nicely made spice rack with a solid turntable. The wood is natural, not stained, and the surfaces that the spices sit on are sanded to a rough finish. The product comes in 4 easy-to-assemble pieces. However, there is nothing keeping the spice rack together once assembled. The flat piece in the center looks like it would make a nice handle, but if you try to pick up the rack by that piece, the top tier and one of the center pieces will come out and the bottom tier and other center piece will remain. The bottom is sturdy, but the top wobbles.

It may be that wood glue would keep the rack together; however, I expected more when I paid this price. I expected that the rack would be sanded, stained, finished and solid. I like the look of the rack, but it is way overpriced. Each tier holds only one row of spices--14 on the bottom and 11 on top, for a total of 25 spices. I like the rack, but J.K. Adams could have done so much better!

This is a beautifully made spice carousel. It looks great on my counter. Very high quality and American made. Would definitely recommend it.

The spice rack is just like a lazy susan. This carousel will let you fit any diameter spice on it/ Easy to install. I highly recommend this to all.

John Louis Home Standard Stand Alone Tower

Good, quality product. However, to sell it without the shelves is not only ridiculous, it is more than a little misleading.

Then to charge the equivalent of the the original shelving unit, for the shelves themselves was another slap in the face.

I really like the John Louis products and have used them in our master closet. We purchased these towers to add more storage for shoes and had no idea that it didn't come with shelves. This information is hidden in the product description and really should be part of the bulleted Product Features list. Though I am at fault for not reading carefully enough I think that for the amount that we paid for these, they should come with SOME shelves.

Photo in product description shows unit with shelfes, which are NOT part of the package and have to be ordered in addition. Very misleading. Photo should show what you get with your order and not what possibilities you have when buying additional shelfes. Unit just comes with left and right frame and top and bottom, creating an empty box with no storage possibilities. At least 2 shelfes should be included.

I was very disappointed in the stand alone towers. It was not clear from the description that they came without shelves. At that point I decided to order the shelves separately.

It was a nightmare to assemble the tower and the shelves. I made several trips to the hardware store. It became a team effort with my family,...we were all out of patience

and exhausted by the end. I am usually very pleased with purchases through amazon, but this was not a good experience. The towers are not worth the time and money.

These racks are great for shoes and sweaters. I put two in my closet for shoes and they work great. Good airflow and compact size. I have read other reviews that talk about cheap quality. For the price. I quoted custom cabinets for $3000 to do the same thing, so I am quite happy. I don't plan on hanging from these and they work well to hold shoes and stuff.

A few items came defective from the manufacturer and I sent them back with no issues through Amazon Amazon is the way to go!

Display Bookcase Contemporary Style in Cappuccino Finish

The construction is sturdy. I would rate the assembly instructions as 9/10. The shelf comes with a small squeeze tube of what looks like elmers glue. When I was constructing the shelf I ran out of this glue and had to substitute some wood glue, unfortunately applying the wood glue got messy because it had to be applied into holes that were smaller that the glue nozzle.

Another problem for me was that the inter-shelf distance in the center is too short to fit regular sized paper back books on. The manufacturers should redesign the book shelf to accomodate paper back books in the central shelf areas.

Other than that the shelf kicks ass.

So the shelf goes together well and looks really nice and seems well made. However, on the short sections of the book shelf you can't fit a standard height paperback book. The books are frustratingly close to fitting. If the shelves were spaced a part half and inch more a standard paperback would fit great on them. So although this looks like a books shelf it really isn't. It is more of a display shelf for other things and maybe some books if you want.

The book shelf did have some minor damage. Nothing that will affect it's performance and most of it can be hidden by strategic shelf / book placement.

When I bought this product it's description was "Display Bookcase Contemporary Style in Cappuccino Finish" The new description is much more accurate.

The bookcase was very easy to assemble and it is a nice size. The shelves are a little more narrow than I thought they would be from the picture, but all of my items still fit on it nicely.

This was sent with a damaged side piece. We received that new piece after 10 days and put it together. Be aware, this is very cheap material (hollow inside each piece) and marks very easily. It looks ok, but is flimsy and we are not used to cheap looking furniture pieces. It damaged so easily putting it together that we will be trashing it as soon as we find a replacement.

Household Essentials Sliding Chrome Cabinet Organizer

This sliding shelf holds quite a bit of household items. It's easy to install, very strongly made. I have purchased 3 of these useful units and all are excellent in quality. I have a similar shelf bought from a popular home DIY store and it's junky as compared to this product.

Shelf was very easy to install and has a neat professional appearance. It was well packaged to prevent any damage in shipment, and I would buy this shelf again. One other note: drawer slides are on the bottom of shelf and don't give the same degree of rigidity as slides that mount on side of drawer. Think of a hack saw blade: easy to push on the flat surface and make blade bend; if you push on edge of blade in will not bend. This means shelf sags a little when fully extended, and also that shelf cannot support as much weight as a unit with side mounted drawer slides.

So I did some digging and found that it indeed is little too short for my receiver (Yamaha 3010 that is 7.5" high and needs some room to cool as well). This is a very nice quality stand. I was disappointed to find that a couple of key pieces were missing from the box, and I couldn't get past step one of the assembly instructions until I received them. I called customer service, they were nice, helpful and got the new parts out to me, though I had to pay for 2 day shipping to get them when I needed them (I had a home theatre set up person scheduled, and needed the stand to be put together for the appt). After I had all the pieces, it was easy to assemble.

One other surprise was that my AV receiver was too big to fit on any of the shelves, I had to put it on the top shelf. Not sure if they show the distance between the shelves in the specs, but it would be useful to know.

Overall this is a very nice quality product and I would recommend it.

This furniture works well in my living room. It provides stacking space for many audio components (being old school, I still have a turntable and casette tape player as well as a CD/DVD player, cable unit, receiver, power strip--maybe dinosaur is a better description than 'old school'!) and let's air circulate freely. The wood color is true to the photo and I found the item easy to assemble, well-made, and sturdy. I wish I had found something slightly narrower, but this provides substantial storage space without being bulky or dominating the room.

This is a visually nice unit that was very easy to set up. I was looking for an unit that was not very wide. The Sanus NFAV230 has a glass top that is only 30 inches wide and the unit itself, in the front, is 28 1/2 inches wide.

An issue more than a problem that I found was that when I set up my Pioneer Receiver using banana plug connectors for the speaker wire, and with the unit fits very tightly up against the back wire housing, the receiver still overhangs the shelf unit by half an inch. While it does not fit the way I expected it does not look badly but the selector knobs are clearly beyond the facade limit. Also my Pioneer is 6 1/8 inches tall and although it fits onto each of the 3 shelves, I felt that there was not enough head room to cool the unit unless it was on the top or bottom shelves.

I will try to give better dimensions for those who need them.

Although the unit is flush in the front, you could theoretically have some overhang on the sides of each shelf.

The audio stand was just as it appeared in the picture. Good quality, sturdy piece. Very easy to put together. Like the bar in the back, which does a pretty good job hiding all the wires from my stereo components.

I plan on getting 2 or 3 more since they are perfect for a home that has very little stow away space like mine. You will love this product too, it's that great!!
