This product was very easy to put together. It is a little smaller than you think. My kids bookbags can hang from the hooks and touch the bottom of the shelf. Their light weight jackets fit fine. We have it on top of a bench in our laundry room and it has helped tame our clutter.

I received the bookcase well wrapped and within the estimated time. Putting this case together is somewhat complicated. The back of the cabinet is 2 large pieces of "wood" that is taped together. In the assembly process you have to attach two pieces together with tape. The tape comes with all of the parts. We put this on three separate times but the back keeps popping apart, which can be seen from the front. Even though the case itself is pretty and matches my other furniture perfectly, I wished I would have spent a little extra and bought a piece already assembled. For $500 this piece definitely isn't worth the hastle of having to pull the shelves from the wall and retaping over and over again.

I bought two, the quality is pretty good. It wasn't too bad to assemble did take about an hour or so. Sturdy and well-finished. We bought 2 bookcases to match our bedroom set. Shelves are adjustable.

At first I thought this was going to be a great piece for my bedroom. It was looking good until I put the back panel on. The back piece wasn't made wide enough, so when you screwed in the sides, it splintered the wood on the inside of the bookcase. No, I didn't screw them in crooked. In my opinion, if you're going to spend several hundred dollars on a bookcase, you may as well save yourself the aggravation and just pay the extra two hundred dollars and get it from a furniture store. Right now I'm wishing I had. If you do decide to buy this, then I suggest you run to your local hardware store and buy some tack nails, because you'll be needing them.

The cabinet is beautiful and matches my cherry desk that I had purchased 2 years ago from a store close to me. It is well worth the money. If I had known at the time of purchase the quality I was getting and how well it matches my existing desk I would have spent a little more money and bought the large one actually still thinking about getting it.

I bought this shelf plus the matching baskets to store shoes just inside my front door (instead of having a giant pile of shoes just strewn about on the floor). I had previously purchased the Winsome Wood tall four-shelved unit for my cookbook collection, so I decided to go with Winsome Wood again. I am pleased with my purchase. In other reviews you will see that some people have had trouble actually assembling the shelves; I myself did not have any problem assembling either this unit or the other Winsome Wood unit I purchased. I just read the directions carefully and took my time in making sure all the parts were lined up properly. This unit is easy to assemble. It is solid wood, which is a plus in this day and age of pressboard. In some spots the wood is a little rough, but not majorly so. The Espresso color is definitely dark, but that's what I wanted. We live in a 120+ year old Victorian, and I wanted dark wood that would blend in with the new and the old furnishing and decor. This shelf set holds about 20 pairs of shoes (in five baskets, which I purchased separately) in the following sizes: women's 8.5, men's 10.5, men's 9, and women's 6.5. It's such a neat alternative to my old giant pile of shoes! I do recommend this product for a good middle-of-the-road shelving set.

The item; comprised of loosely compressed fiber board. The finish is aken to the durability of a black plastic trash bag. Now...if your still want to purchase this item you had better want it. I received mine damaged. The construction made it impossible to make due with. No foundation by which to mend. AMAZON.COM does not stand by return policy. My claim was denied. Can't imagine under what curcumstances a claim is valid if not a damaged purchase upon receipt. After the claim denial they no longer communicated with me. I am out of $260.00. I am not a Rockafella. Advice; "let the buyer beware."

The problems I experienced was with the company's response rate. While I received the item in a reasonable time, two major issues came up. The company failed to note that the product would arrive in two shipments and no packing slip was provided with the first shipment (therefore creating confusion after the first shipment arrived and made it necessary to follow up). Second issue was that a part was missing from the package. I contacted the company but they did not respond right away. When they did get back to me, it took three months to send the missing part very unreasonable delay.

Its rare that I'll type a product review on Amazon, but I felt compelled to help potential future purchasers who are on the fence. If you order this bookcase from the featured merchant, don't expect to get it right way. From order to front door took more than 2 weeks. However, as far as the bookcase is concerned, I am very happy. It was easy to put together (I did it myself in about 2 hours) and the instructions are very clear. Unlike other customer reviews that claimed it was missing materials or came in two shipments, I had no issues what-so-ever. I was very impressed that it was packed with care. However, a couple of pieces of the wood were nicked (but nothing a black marker couldn't resolve). As far as how it looks now that it is complete my headline says it all. It is a solid, nice looking piece of furniture and will work with any modern decor. One more thing that I was surprised that no other customer review noted it has silver accents in the black paint finish. You can not tell this by looking at the picture. For me, it looks great with my decor (actually I prefer it this way!), but for those who want a strictly black finish, be forewarned. Overall, I do recommend this bookcase!

I actually did not mount the feet; although they look great, I found the unit to be sturdier without the feet and have piece of mind that it won't topple over if a little crawler were to pull on it... Due to the space limitations I had in my home regarding my second home theater unit, I needed to have my other Salamander Archetype to feature wheels for greater fluidity and mobility. These wheels fill the bill. Not only were they easy to place onto the bottom of my rack, in lieu of the rubber feet which normally come with the Salamander 5.0's, but they also got me going as well regarding putting the rest of the unit together. Once I was concluded loading up the rest of the components once the 5.0 was firmly in place, I was able to easily move the rack into position where it is now located. And even after I made my 5.0 a 7.0 via expansion, I can still wheel my unit around as needed to make adjustments in my second unit--as I have had to do. The saturn wheels even give my 7.0 extra-added height, making an already tall unit even taller. For the fluidity these wheels give, I say give these a whirl whenever better, preferred movement is needed for one's Salamander Archetype unit--however tall it may be. Very recommended!!!!

Looks good on my wall. One issue it doesn't mount on studs, so in my case it involved a man's hand to place anchors in the drywall. Otherwise I really like it.

I bought this refrigerator for my son to take with him to college and it ended up being a terrific choice. We were limited to less than 4.5 cu. feet, so in going lower than that, I thought this would end up being pretty small. Unboxed however, it was larger than I expected and bigger than the picture would lead you to believe; I'm 5'7" and this comes nearly up to my hip.

I purchased the black, and the entire refrigerator outer surface is a matte, slightly textured sort of fingerprint-proof finish that wipes clean very easily.

This was surprisingly quiet; having checked out models in our local appliance stores and finding them all annoyingly loud, I didn't think I could do any worse picking one online. This was a very pleasant surprise. It was whisper quiet on startup and when it kicked in each time the cooling cycle started, it barely even registered. There was no vibration, even when things started getting stacked on top (a coffee maker and the usual cups and junk).

The shelf levels are pretty short, non-moveable and not practical for anything other than snack and leftover storage use, which is exactly what my son's dorm use happens to be. The refrigerator comes with a clear plastic tray with holes for keeping eggs from rolling around and a miniscule (useless) ice cube tray. The freezer compartment is very tiny and I can't even imagine what you could fit in there beyond a handful of Popsicles, although it got nice and cold even on the mid-cool setting.

Just one word of warning: my unit came undamaged, and I can't speak for all shippers' policies, but be aware that if your unit comes in its original manufacturer's box, check it out immediately. There is absolutely no packing inside the box besides a thin top and bottom piece of styrofoam. I took the top piece out to unbox it and to my horror, found there was nothing else, that the box was actually the size of the refrigerator.

Got the black fridge for my office and love it! I guess my complaints would be that at times it can be a tad loud and since I do not drink soda, the soda slot is lost real estate (the bars are not removable). Overall I like it a lot and am happy with the purchase.

We've had this compact or mini fridge for six months or so. It has turned out to be a very useful unit at a modest cost. We keep it next to our computers in our "office" area. We use it mostly for pop, fruit drinks, etc. Also, I store my camera film in the freezer compartment. It is truly self defrosting, quiet, holds a lot of beverages, and makes a fair auxiliary work table from time to time.

I sure recommend it.

A dent on the back edge of the refrigerator and the plastic strip on the top is cracked but it is difficult for me to return because it is too heavy for me. Also I don't know if the shipping charges are refundable. There is no styrofoam at the edges to protect the body of the refrigerator.

The first order we received had no fewer than 5 major defects. But how a company can ship a piece (the front piece) that has had an entire foot split off, I'll never know. I'm not kidding. The entire bottom-left 5", gone.

The replacement was better, but that's not saying much -the first one had no foot on one side, after all; how this meets any measure of quality controls, I'll never know

One side of the bookcase came in broken, can't tell if it was during shiping or from factory. The rails where side pannels are fix came obstructed with hard glue, it was a nightmare to remove. It look nice, but you will expect a better quality check from the manufacturer.

Ordered two of these and am very satisfied with them. For a $99 bookcase, there's a lot of solid wood. Only the two side panels are cheap/flimsy plywood, the rest is either solid or heavy quality veneer.

After reading other reviews, I was a little scared of the assembly process, but I had no problems whatsoever. In fact, I think they both went together pretty easily. I would say that if you are comfortable assembling IKEA furniture, have no fear of this piece WAY easier than anything from IKEA. The instructions said assembly should be done by two people, but I had no problem doing it on my own.

Only reason I'm not giving it five stars would be that both bookshelves had a couple of small nicks in the wood. Easily fixed with a black Sharpie, so not really a big deal.

I use totes to store the large amount of varied things I get and the fact that I support about 5 computers (custom made) with parts and the like, have like many people all kinds of extra "stuff" lying about that can be boxed.

These totes can hold a great amount of weight, so far the most I put in one is about 75lbs and it did not effect it. Their frames also allow you to in a hurry put heavier boxes atop the lighter ones (though I am sure there is something to re-stacking your stored items for heavier on the bottom) I am just saying you can get away with it with these (I have had such stacks for a few weeks) before re-stacking them.

I use an inventory system that assigns a tote a tote ID which corresponds to an Access Database which has information about what is in each tote.

I have 10 of these (have ordered 2 5 packs) and will order more if my storage needs grow.

Very fair price for buying 5 at once (ended up in my case having Prime, and these being Prime Eligible ) at about $14 per Tote.

That is under what stores charge around here for similar tote, and I don't have to go pick them up.

Sturdy, reliable and the lids are great and the locking system for the lids is superior to snap on varieties.

I purchased ten of these totes and was very pleased. They are clean looking and sturdy. Would recommend these totes to everyone.
