HyLoft 01000 Heavy Duty Adjustable Tire Loft

Mounting this wheel/tire rack is a mostly simple process. The base plate mounts with heavy duty screws into wall studs. It is set up for 16" centered studs, but you can drill more holes for any stud spacing. Then you can slide the two end brackets into the base plate. The little trickier part is to next install the three horizontal, adjustable steel bars so your tires size(s) fit OK. It took me 2 trial settings before settling on a good "fit." This process can be a pain if you do it like I did. I put the unit high on my garage wall which meant I carried a wheel/tire up a step ladder. Since I didn't already mark which holes to put the horizontal into, changing the setting twice after the initial one meant carrying the wheel/tire up the ladder 3 times. A smarter way would be to leave the end brackets on the floor and loosely install the horizontal bars, try a wheel/tire on it by tipping the unit backwards to get the tire off the floor so it hangs on the bars. Mark which holes to put the bars and then assemble all the pieces onto the wall bracket.

Unit is sturdy and very good overall quality.

Hyloft Company customer service was extremely responsive when I called their toll-free number and took care of me right away.

Just received this unit only to find that the inside width is NOT 66 in as described online. I called the company HyLoft and the rep confirmed this. He said you can spread the rack as wide as 58 in (inside opening) as long as your weight is tires only (no rims). The instruction manual states 52 in!!! I have 62in total width and therefore can't use this unit. The rep did not seem fazed by the fact the description above (from the company) is completely misleading. No apologies. No alternate solutions. He just said: Return it to Amazon! I can't speak to the product but the company is crap.

WE wanted a way to store our winter tires, up and off of the floor. We wanted this rack to be well made, sturdy and good looking. This is all of those. It was easy to install because the directions were clear, our studs were on center. It holds all four of our winter tires and wheels plus 2 smaller travel tires and wheels. I needed some type of storage device to get my alternate set of wheels and tires for my car out of the way to free up floor space in the garage, and this rack fit the bill perfectly.

It's very well constructed and took less than a half hour to mount the pieces to the wall and assemble.

I have no qualms about it falling apart or being at all unsafe.

The only improvement I would make is the two polygonal arms on each side of the tires have a very sharp, pointy front bottom corner and it would be nice if these could be rounded off, as if you are working below it and bash your head on one of these pointy corners you will do SERIOUS damage to yourself; a little pipe insulation taped to those corners solves the problem but it shouldn't be necessary.

The color advertised was pretty accurate, but the print of the cupcakes look cheap and the overall quality was just of lower quality than I expected. It's a very small container, so don't be looking at this if you want to hold much. It's what I would call a desktop item. It could hold a bunch of pens/pencils, bunches of crayons or paper clips. Whatever you have a lot of that is small would be OK in this.

Perfect size to fit all my toddler's small cars. It has a wire in the bottom which keeps it from tumbling over and straight.

Very thin material, doesn't feel very sturdy. I cut the box it came in and put a piece of the cardboard in the bottom of the bin to help give it a firmer bottom. Cute fabric, just not very strong. It is almost like a tshirt wrapped around a slim metal skeleton. Anything you put it in alters the shape because it it so flimsy. When you pick it up, the bottom sags, and things can get stuck under the metal wire frame. Putting the cardboard in the bottom helps some, but I would not recommend this product for holding anything other than lightweight tissues or baby washcloths

Cute but check your dimensions before you buy. The picture always looks bigger. Smaller than I expected but can hold a variety of small objects for storage.

I was looking for something to add to the storage in my cabinets and this worked perfectly. I can put little cans or spices underneath and larger cans/items on top. It's very adjustable so it will fit almost any shelf height. The picture makes it look like it deeper than it really is. I still had lots of room in front of it when I pushed it all to the back of the cabinet but other than that it is great. I'm ordering more for my other cabinets.

This divider unit is a flimsy piece of junk. It would not stay in one place in the cabinet and is not deep enough to keep items from slipping around behind it. The wood is so thin that the ends cracked and splintered after about the sixth time they shifted in travel. I threw them in the trash as soon as we got home from our vacation.

Parsons Bookcase

I personally picked this bookcase out for the dimensions considering it was wider and had a larger depth. It's so big, I have plenty of space to put everything and more on it. I'm all to eager to fill it with tasteful decor. Putting it together was self-explanatory and it took only a few minutes. Recommend it full heartedly. Though the price was up there, it makes sense why. You pay exactly what you get for. =3

Atlantic 38435623 Oskar Media Tower 756 CD (Maple)

I purchased two of these Oskar media storage units last year and was very satisfied. I needed a third one for recent expansion, but Atlantic/Oskar has redesigned this unit without explanation and without improvement. The overall frame is the same: height, width and depth. While the total number of adjustable shelves are the same (30), the size and weight of the shelves have changed. In the units I bought last year, the shelves were were 1/2" thick and were 5.5 inches deep, the full depth of the shelving unit. The new shelves are only 3/8" thick and 4.5 inches deep. The old shelves weighed 14 oz, and new shelves weigh 8.5 oz, so the total package weight dropped by 10 pounds, which may have been the motivation for the redesign. The mounting holes have also shifted, so the shelves from the new and old units are not interchangeable.

What is the big deal you may ask? With a 5.5 in depth, DVDs sit completely on the shelf. With only 4.5 inches, the DVDs overhang by about half and inch. With a thinner profile (3/8"), the shelves are more likely to sag over time. The 1/2" shelves have shown no sign of sagging in the past year.

We did not see this design flaw until we put the media unit together. We plan on returning it to Amazon.

I ordered this unit, thinking it was the Atlantic Oskar 1080 (product number 38435418). It's NOT. The shelves are cheaper, thinner, and poorly finished. Overall, a far inferior product, clearly a cheap replacement for the earlier "Oskar 1080." Only thing is, they are clearly trying to pass the new, chintzier one off as the same shelf. A bit sleazy.

It really pisses me off when a company like Atlantic substitutes an inferior product for an existing one, without making it clearer --for instance, by changing the product name or picture. The box, when it arrived, said something like "formerly called Oskar," but it's a bit late to find that out, when it's already at your house!

Don't buy this one -if you're going to get a "1080-CD" rack, find the "other" Oskar, with the product number 38435418. I think Best Buy still has them.

I don't understand a lot of the negative reviews on this product. I just got mine yesterday and it worked out perfect. It's sturdy (wall brackets work great) and was super easy to put together. Only took me about 45 minutes. For the price, I think it's a great deal. Looks great too. All the people complaining either don't know how to put things together or fly through the instructions too fast to catch the details. It's a sturdy peice of furniture for the price and does exactly what it's suppose to do. If you need a good media storage unit at a good price, don't hesitate on this one. Only reason I didn't give if 5 stars is because it doesn't do my laundry no matter how many times I yell at it :p

As someone who has many thousands of CD's and DVD's, and the racks to go with them, I feel that I can address this product with a good degree of experience and knowledge. In short, I feel that one can't beat this price for a product of this type. Granted, it's not a custom piece of wood furniture, but it is not meant to be. It's particle board covered with wood grain veneer. If recognized for that, it looks good, and is well-made for that type. Some reviewers have mentioned that the shelves are less deep than the older Oskars, and that their CD's stick out. This is true, but for me, it's a non-issue. In fact, I find that it's actually easier to grasp a case when they stick out a bit from the shelf. I have an older Atlantic Oskar, and the quality seems about the same, which is to say that the finish is good, and the pieces fit together properly. If one is patient, and takes the time to look at the illustrations and directions, then assembly shouldn't be a problem. Some reviewers have mentioned two issues which I do find worth addressing, though. One is that it is important to give extra care and attention to the alignment of the back wall piece. The appearance of the right angles can be deceptive, so make sure that there is solid wood under it before nailing. Also, do make sure to support the two halves of the unit when flipping it over to nail on the wall backing. Some books or towels will support the weight. Additionally, if you're looking for an exact match with the older model, then yes, they probably won't match up to a perfect degree, due to shelf heights. The item arrived in a single 70 lb. box, so be aware of the weight. As one other reviewer mentioned, since there are countless little balls of broken styrofoam, be sure to unpack it where clean-up won't be a problem. Finally, I would highly recommend this product if you need some large-capacity storage at a great price.

Despite reading reviews, I still bought this. I wish I didn't. I bought one of these a few years back at Best Buy. Best Buy no longer carries it. I needed another one due to my growing media collection. This product is made much more poorly than the previous model. The top half leans and nearly fell apart till I attached the cheap backing to it. I don't believe the backing should support it, but it does. The shelves are the MAJOR downgrade. The shelves are thinner and only 4.5" deep. The shelves look stupid because they are no longer flush with the rest of the shelf. Also nearly everything I place on the shelf now overhangs the shelves. The is a poorly made shelf and I DO NOT recommend it. Just read the reviews.

I want to start off by warning purchasers to stay away from this product. The product does not look at all like it does in the picture, the precision of the machining was slightly off making it extremely difficult to slide the shelves and spacers into place, the drywall screw is made out of plastic and it snapped in half with a light twist, and the integrated cable management feature is useless. My suggestion is to find another shelf pronto!

Somehow I missed it on the description, but these shelves are plastic, don't get me wrong they are acceptable as an entry level shelving, but they are not Walnut shelves.

Just thought others might benefit from knowing for sure that they aren't wood.

I have installed other photo ledges before and while they were fairly simple to hang, this system beats them all! All you have to is hang a small plastic strip on the wall (it has a level built into it). You add one nail at a time, keeping the level where it needs to be, and then you are done. There are optional anchors and screws if you need them. Then all you have to do is put the ledge on the plastic piece. The piece is made of hard plastic and has a lip for the ledge to hang on. No worries, as it is very sturdy! I use the anchors, because I tend to put several heavy picture frames on mine.

The finish is a nice and comes in several other colors. They are made of wood and laminate materials (but most photo ledges are). There is a lip on the top to help hold frames in place. The Burnes of Boston product line is a bit more expensive than other ledges, but it is worth every penny. The hanging system and detail are worth it. You can try mixing and matching the sizes if you have a large wall to put photos/displays on.

The shelves look very nice themselves, but, as others have said, the mounting, although easy to do, leaves the shelves feeling unsturdy. I would certainly limit the weight on them.

On the other hand, the mounting hardware is poor at best. The fasteners that are supposed to screw into the wall are of the poorest quality. After drilling holes, three of the six actually CRUMBLED as I touched them. I wound up using my own subsitiutes to insure a stable mount.

As long as you know that they're not made of wood (although parts that don't show are), this is a nice easy-to-put-up set of picture ledges. I got mine at a big box store that has these in other styles and colors. Took me less than 5 minutes to get these up, thanks to the level being there on the plastic piece. All mounting nails and (if they're needed) anchors are included. All you need is a hammer. If you intend to put other than a picture on this ledge, I suggest weighing the pieces together keeping the total weight to less than 10 pounds. These are not shelves, only shallow ledges. I'm very happy with their appearance.

i had purchased this to install a 12" deep shelf , if you cant screw it to a stud ( i used a toggle bolt) & the shelf is deeper than 8' and if the total weight is more than 20 lbs this bracket will not hold the shelf horizontal . it will tilt forward. use for light objects only. it has only one screw per bracket that too not easily accessible , needs a long driver extension. a second screw would inspire more confidence.

Seville Classics Heavy Duty Steel 6-Tier Corner Shelf

I bought this as a temporary workaround for holding my cluttered pile of living room electronics and subwoofer while re-organizing the house and saving up for an entertainment center. My husband said it was easy to put together and very customizable regarding individual shelf height. There are 4 and 5-tier units available everywhere, but the 6th shelf brings this unit almost all the way to the ceiling and really utilizes wasted corner space. I like the fact that I can get at everything from multiple angles. Later on, when I buy my living room entertainment center, this unit will work well in the laundry room or garage due to the fact that it is so sturdy and space-efficient.

I bought two more units as a temporary workaround for my den/home office setup in a small room that will be shared by two people who need their own individual storage spaces. In my opinion, this is a good price for such a well-built unit.

If you wanted to, you could put a large lazy susan on one or more of the shelves. Just an idea.

Don't forget the fact that it has wheels!

24 Inch Wide Adjustable Door Rack Pantry Organizer

This is certainly not designed for heavy items but it did add much needed storage space to my closet. It is perfect for light items such as ziplock bags, instant oatmeal, and granola bars. The racks are relatively open so small boxes such as jello will fall through if you try to stack them vertically. We had extra pieces left over because of the length of our door so we were able to add them to the back of the closet wall instead.

The tracks are plastic and are already showing signs of fatique. Canned goods on the shelf? Not a good option. The tracks aren't strong enough and the shelf sags because of the flimsy gauge of the wire. Reasonably priced but that isn't much good in the long run

I am happy with my door rack,it helps to clean up alot of the other shelves in the pantry.It makes the door alot heaver, i can feel the diffrence in the weight when i open and close the door but it doesn't seem to be a proublem.The rack was easy to install, it comes with eight baskets but if your putting tall things in them like i did you really only need to use six of them . I use the other two in my work shop they fit the peg board holes.
