The main problem with this shelf is that the mounting bracket was not produced properly, it was bent. You can imagine how difficult it is to hang it level on the wall when it doesn't sit flush. Because of this, it did take a few trial and error drills to get things right. Also, because of the poorly manufactured mounting bracket, the shelf kind of tilts back, which isn't a huge problem, but sort of looks silly when viewed from the side.

Other than that, it is a nice looking shelf and one of the few I was able to find that was a good size.

My teenage daughter recently had her room redone from a childhood yellow to a Tiffany Box, grown-up looking blue. We purchased black and white linens for the bed. Since we already had white shelves on the walls, we thought we'd accent those with a third black one. This shelf was perfect. Looks very modern and all grown up!

I really like this item. It is very sturdy and the glass is thick and will hold very heavy items (mine has a 60 lb vintage receiver on it). The wood is a very nice color and the wood is thick. Putting it together is another thing. The directions are adequate, but you have to really look at each picture in detail and make sure to get screws in the right place. Even though it is easy to put screw A into hole B, they do not tell you that hole B needs to be facing in or out, up or down. You can get almost through before you realize you made a mistake and have to disassemble and start over. I have experience with the companion 5 tier stand and still did this one wrong. Once together, this is a very nice piece.

I gave this item a four only due to the intructions. They were a little difficult to follow, but after a few attempts, it came together easily and the end result was a solid product suitable for any budget. Just a note to those of you who use the text alert feature to track your package: I have had several purchases over the past two months and in every case, I had my shipment way before I received the text telling me that it had arrived.

Now that it is put together, i am satisfied (almost) with a nice big stand for a good price. I am leery of laminate but overall was well done. top piece has laminate wrapped all around the corners as one piece which I like so hopefully the corners won't come apart eventually like some other laminate furniture I've seen. a few tiny dings here or there but nothing a brown marker couldn't fix. Not perfect but good enough. drawer glides nicely and bottom of drawer is thin but will be fine for a few wiimotes etc.

I wasn't especially impressed with the packing job as all the little pieces of wood were just loose including the metal drawer glides and whole thing was just padded with thin sheets of styrofoam, nothing wrapped in plastic at all. plenty of hardware though and that was bagged.

WORST part were the directions. Half sheet of paper, one side with four pictures. thats it. No labels on anything, no instruction on what size screws go where... If you're not very good at putting things together and figuring it out on your own, don't get this piece. Boards are held together by a combo of dowel pegs and camlocks. On mine, after I had the whole thing put together in the order they indicated from the FOUR pictures and had used the camlocks on the bottom in the predrilled holes...there seemed to be no way to lock on the top and it seemed they predrilled the holes for drawer glides on the wrong end of the board so i had to perfectly re measure and redrill those as well. overall took me 4 hours. i'm very precise so it turned out fine for me (almost) but still a pain. after it was all done, I kept thinking about those few items that didn't make sense and have come to the conclusion that the camlocks were to lock on the TOP and then use screws on the bottom from the underneath! maybe I missed a clue in the "directions" and so I redrilled the holes for nothing and its all together wrong though no one would really know, it will just annoy me forever. the little silver feet were a mystery also with no instructions...the black caps on them pop off to allow screwing them onto the bottom. i liked it better with them off anyway.

I liked the glass doors for keeping dust out of electronics and they roll on plastic wheels in a plastic lined groove on the bottom so that was engineered nicely. the two glass pieces were shipped in a separate box. overall four stars for a laminate piece of furniture but two or less if you require good detailed instructions. Had I had just two or three critical pieces of info that I left in my own review, would be liking it better...hope this helps the next buyer! Tip: use the longest screws on the bottom board to secure it to the vertical boards, medium screws for the drawer assembly and securing the shelf above the drawer, then the short ones for everything else.

This is a very good looking stand especially for those looking for a wider stand as most come in 60".

It comes together fairly nicely assuming you can figure it out. The directions only show four steps, so needless to say they were very poor and inadequate. But if you've put together any ikea type furniture it shouldn't be too difficult. It did take me about 2 hours to get everything put together.

The drawer assembly and hardware aren't very good. The drawer looks good but it's very difficult to get it aligned. Definitely say its more for looks than function.

Don't use all the little brad nails on the backing to the main unit. You will need some of the nails for the bottom of the drawer.

If you want to put electronics on the side, there aren't any pass through holes in the backing. I first thought to cut new holes in the backing on the sides but figured out you can pass the wires through the center hole and push them in front of the backing on the inside going to the sides.

This product was exactly as advertised. It is sturdy and works very well and is perfect for the area I have available. The ironing board pad cover could have been better considering how much I paid for it (it is a dull, rough cotton). Fortunately, I sew and can make or adapt another one, but someone else should consider the problem with replacing it later because it is not a standard size ironing board. The only real complaint I have is the instructions paper (yes, I meant "paper") for putting it together. There is one sheet of poorly printed paper with difficult to read pictures and not one word printed on it. Now I have put a million pieces of furniture, etc. together and was able to muddle through, but I felt sorry for someone who has never done something like this before. So as I said I was satisfied with product and would recommend it.

Not near as sturdy as I had hoped for the high price. 3 of the bolt holes had to be tapped to use screws supplied. Ironing board seems to have a good pad and design concept is a good idea. Cart easily moves with wheel brakes set on tile floor.

I just got these and installed them a couple of nights ago (I ordered two). I am really pleased with them. The C.D.'s are accessible and easy to see and sort in the individual "squares". I was finally able to put Mozart with Mozart and Bach with Bach and Alison Kraus with Alison Krause and Leo Kotke with Leo Kotke, etc. and etc. and etc. I think it is a great design! The black wire is there, but, doesn't take over like a wood shelf does. Also, it is fairly lightweight which made installation easy! We have hundreds of C.D.'s and storing them and organizing them has been a nightmare! I was interested in these because the product description said they each held 108 C.D.'s. I had my doubts, but, I'm here to tell you, they do! It is great to get some of our C.D.'s off the floor where we have to squat and use a flashlight to find one (on regular C.D. shelves). One thing to be aware of is that they do stick out from the wall (of course) and so I was unable to put them where I'd intended...on the hall wall. I was afraid they'd get in the way and get knocked around. I hung them over the bookcases that house DVD's, etc. and since they don't stick out any further than the shelves, they are safe! The diamond shape also gives you the opportunity to create a nice design on the wall. You can put them up against each other or separate them...they look great either way! If you are a media hog like we are and your C.D.'s are all over the place, these are a terrific solution!

We had been looking for a long time to find a CD storage system to fit in a narrow space behind a door. We purchased two of these based on other reviews and are extremely happy with them. They are easy to mount (we located our two vertically on a stud), look great and hold all of our CDs. More than one visitor has admired them and asked where they were purchased. If we expand our collection then we will buy more. The only drawback to the design is that if you place your CDs in the rack in an order and then acquire another CD that you want to put in the sequence then you may need to move many CDs if you have not left the space for expansion. This is a very unique cd storage system that holds quite a few CD's. I ordered 2 of them, and filled them both up. It looks pretty cool, and is very handy as it hangs on the wall right next to my Stereo system. It's pretty easy to install, is quite sturdy, and looks like a piece of art (well as artful as a CD collection can look).

My only complaint is that it is hard to alphabetically organize CD's when they're hanging horizontal. This system does not hold A-typical CD boxes, and does not hold other media such as DVD's and games.

Acrylic Shelf Divider - Clear

We bought two types of dividers, the typical wire ones like this Spectrum 77100 Over-The-Shelf Divider Large 1-Pair, White as well as the acrylic ones. Each type has its pros and cons but ultimately the older and less attractive dividers do a better job and are sturdier.

The biggest plus for the acrylic dividers? They are so visually appealing that you could use them on open shelves, perhaps in a kitchen. No need to hide them behind closed doors.

But IF you are getting the acrylic ones, keep in mind that the plastic can attract dust, not a good thing for clothes or linens. I think it has to do with static electricity build-up from the plastic, not really sure. I just know it is a reality. The means frequent dusting of the dividers. If their appearance is worth it, that may not be such a big deal to you..if you have the time.

But you DO need to handle them very carefully, especially while removing them from their plastic bags. If dropped after receiving them, the sides can simply snap off on impact. This happened to us...twice. If you are thinking, " So don't drop them" ...well, this was my reasoning as well and I chalked up the first breakage to slippery plastic bags and clumsy fingers.

Unfortunately, other family members found the dividers equally hard to manage and it can be inconvenient to make sure they NEVER fall when you move them around. In carpeted rooms it might not be an issue but on our tile or hardwood or even laminate flooring it is a problem.

If you have a better experience, be interested in learning about it.

Rev-A-Shelf CPDR-2635 CPDR Series 26" - 35" Pull-Down Closet Rod,

This is very useful for short people like me and was well constructed. It, however, could be better and since it is not inexpensive, I would have thought the makers would have considered some obvious things. The instructions said that when in the down position the center support should be placed on the ground for extra support. This is not shown this way in the photo. Obviously, that is because the support cannot be extended that long. It would have needed to be an easily adjustable rod that could be lengthened when down and shortened when up so that it fits in the cabinet. Also, not the easiest thing to install. I had a contractor install it and it took a couple of attempts. I'm glad I didn't do it myself.

The product install took about 20 minutes. Note that some of the photos show the unit being installed on the back wall of the cabinet, those are misleading as the pneumatic arms are screwed into the sides of the cabinet. I also had to adjust the length of the pull rod (it was about 3" too long for my cabinet).

My wife loves the simplicity of the design and provides exactly what we need when unloading the dryer. I'm happy because it promotes getting clean clothes out of the Laundry Room and into the closets :-) Another bonus is that you can still use the cabinet to store tall items! Just leave room in the center for the pull rod.

This hardware is great. I built an amour that is 8' tall in a 10'high wall room. Since it is not practical to have a closet rod almost 8' high. This solved the problem. You just pull it down and it pivots out and though you rod is a little under 8' when you pull it down it is around 5'. My wife loves it. It was a great investment for us, it's esthetically and functional home run.

This is a really nice piece of furniture, which I bought for my bathroom for towel and toiletries storage. Just a couple of problems with it there is no shelf inside the lower cabinet which would have been extremely useful for storage reasons; there was some damage to the front of the top piece; the drawer stop was missing; and the bottom rear panel was a little too long, although this is not visible with the cabinet against the wall. I contacted Amazon.com with these problems, and they referred me to Elite Home Fashions, the furniture supplier. This linen tower is not rocket science,it did take some time to put together BUT if you take the time to do it RIGHT all parts fit as they should and it looks AMAZING in my guest bathroom. I have has this for some time now and it stands strong it has never tipped over (not even when my cats run into the legs at high speeds) The bottom cupboard fits 8-10 folded towels and we use the upper shelf's for hand towels and a few nicely placed pictures to brighten up the small space. I got this with free shipping under $100.

The assembling instructions consist of just pictures, no words, so I guess it makes it universal instructions. They fairly easy to follow if you are good at interpreting drawings.

There were a couple of manufactoring defects, but not enough to return it.

The draw was not cut right, and things did not align, it took some tweeking to get it to work. Once the draw was in, there is a gap of about 1/2 an inch on the right side when it is fully in. When you close the draw it catches on the strip of wood on top, but with a little wiggle it goes in.

One of the bolt/screw used to attach the side to the shelf did not screw in. It seemed the hole it was supposed to go in was to small...all the other ones worked great but this one would not screw in...I ended up hammering the thing in. It worked fine after that :) It did not screw in to wood, it was a plastic receiver.. I don't know the names of these things, they just had numbers no names in the instructions.

It looks quite nice, overall, and for the cost it is not bad. Once assembled it is suprisingly very sturdy.

I do wish it was a little wider and deeper, but it does it purpose.

I am very pleased with this piece of furniture. I purchased it for my bedroom as a place to store craft & sewing materials. I found the perfect size baskets to place in the open shelves & a black trash can to put inside the door section for storage as well. My son assembled most of the top part, then I assembled the remainder. It really wasn't that difficult. It probably would have taken 3 hrs without breaks. There was only one instance where a screw wouldn't quite fit all the way into the hole that was pre-drilled for it. I made the hole a bit deeper with a screwdriver (as any expert woodworker would) and that was that. The finished product is very atrractive and it has good weight to it. I was surprised by the extra fittings and supports that contribute to the steadiness of the unit. I would highly recommend this to others.

I've yet to get a negative comment on this. I recently purchased a house and two of these for the small library of books I have (both are 95%+ full). I was impressed by the actual quality of this, as were other members of my family. They look a lot more expensive than they really are and are sturdier than they may need to be. Assembly is easy as well. Not sure I would necessarily use them as my "best" shelves, but they are good for if you want to make a library for your house and want to do it inexpensively.

There is no way that this bookcase's original price was $402.56. It's not even real wood; it's that "pressed board" thing. Sometimes on amazon you really do find impossible-to-believe deals, but in this case, you get what you pay for. The item's value is misrepresented.

It took me 4 1/2 hours to assemble it. I am a single woman who has assembled only a bench -which required only an allen wrench (provided!) -and a console table. I have no tools other than a four-way screwdriver. I think that it could be assembled in about 80 or 90 or 100 minutes by a man who has assembled furniture before and who has a decent tool collection. Assembly instructions, although in diagrams only, are fairly clear.

Now that it is assembled and in place, I will say that it looks nice enough. For a graduate student's apartment. I have yet to unpack my boxes full of books and test the strength of the shelves, though. I think and I hope that they will prove sturdy enough.

In truth, I enjoyed spending the 4 1/2 hours putting this thing together, because I learned that I can do it! I can assemble furniture by myself.

Finally, there were no items missing. Everything that was supposed to be included was included. And again, I did it with nothing but a 4-way screwdriver.

I purchased this unit because it was the most affordable 24" wide unit I could find. I needed the 24" width due to space limitations and I wanted something that wasn't just plain black. This fit the bill. It is fairly simple to put together, after all, it is just a bookcase. I think the hardest part was dealing with the two piece back panel. I was wondering why they couldn't just make it one piece with a fold down the middle. Other units I have purchased in the past did it this way. It would eliminate the fussiness of having to assemble the center plastic strip which is annoying but, not insurmountable.

I bought it to hold several years worth of magazines in one locatation. The only drawback is that when I adjust the moveable shelves to the height that works for the space below then the space above the shelf isn't quite tall enough to stand the magazines up on end so they will have to lay flat on those shelves. Not ideal but, it still works. Otherwise, it is a decent shelf that was shipped very quickly and arrived in excellent shape. It was double boxed to avoid shipping damage. This turned out to be a very good idea as the unit is pretty heavy and the outer box showed signs of being manhandled during shipping. I am sure it was due to the size and weight and those package guys have to move pretty quickly to meet their schedules. The communication from the shipper was excellent and the whole transaction went well. I would buy from this seller again if I need another item they carry.

I am really glad I ordered this TV stand. I purchased a new Panasonic HD set for my bedroom and I had looked for a stand that would match the color and provide a good sturdy base. Buy TechCraft BEL320B 32-Inch Wide Flat Panel TV Stand - Black Now

I compared many stands before choosing this one which surpassed my expectations and fit my needs perfectly. Here's why -

1. Looks terrific, with deep black tempered glass shelves and rich looking vertical support columns

2. Well-built. This stand is substantial, heavy, solid from end to end.

3. Easy to install (two people needed). Only a few screws required to hold the entire unit together, hex screwdriver included.

4. MOST IMPORTANTLY Two 8" high shelves allow stacking audio-visual components both 2-high per shelf, and 2 horizontally per shelf. I easily fit -

Wii console

Nearly every other stand I evaluated that could accommodate a 46-52" flat panel TV didn't have high or wide enough shelves to fit A/V components double-high or double across.

This product looks great from a distance and also is easy to put together. However they had the right idea but the craftsmanship is not good at all. I opened the box to find hardware missing. When i dug further into the box for the glass peices the aluminum mount that was appoxied to the top glass pane was broke off. This whole stand is based off the base mounts and with that one broke it made the stand useless. The threads seemed to be loose and the aluminum needed more attention to detail as far as polishing and cleaning i also found some metal shavings from the machining process still in the aluminum mounts.

I bought a TechCraft TV Stand for my 73-inch TV on Dec 6, 2007.

On June 8, 2012, the top glass shattered into thousands of pieces for no apparent reason, causing my TV to fell to the floor.

The company do admit glass do sometime shatter, but they refuse to pay for any damages. They even request that I pay and order a replacement glass. So do your TV a favor, Do NOT buy any product from TechCraft!

I purchased this from Cymax and the glass TV Stand came in a box UNMARKED as fragile or glass and arrived Fedex. It was delivered quickly which was good. The box is completely flattened as if it was under other very heavy boxes. This caused the styrofoam to brake and become completely useless. The top glass shelf has a part broken off so I had to request a replacement. I hope that I actually get it...
