It was not what I thought it was going to be, I thought it would be a hard plastic like silastone.

The manufacture has no regard for the consumer with this product. It is not finished with the color on all of its sides. i could understand the bottom being left bare. However, the top and the bottom are bare "particle board". So if you want a nice appearance on the top or bottom it is not going to happen. Also it is taller than the listed dimensions it is listed as 19.3" It is actually over 19.5" . No big deal unless like be you were working with a tight space. SHOES WILL NOT FIT. There is no way a pair of adult shoes are going to fit in these cubbies. Maybe one shoe to a hole or a pair of sandals at best. The back is made from shoe box cardboard.... I mean it, it is literally cheap shoe box cardboard. No nail is going to cold without tearing through this. At around $30 this is a RIP OFF. Another example of a Chinese manufacture who does not care.

The product had a corner of the outside frame slightly damaged, but I needed to get it put together. They might as well not include instructions in this product if they can somehow make them clear.

Deluxe Four Level Floating Shelf

The Good: I was very impressed with this unit from the moment it arrived. It was very well packed, each peace well was rapped in paper to prevent scratching. The freshly finnished wood peices fit snuggly together, and it's a very attractive piece.

The Bad: The wall mounting instructions leave a LOT to be desired (Assembly is a no-brainer). You will need a clear mind or someone that is mechanically inclind to help out. My suggestion to the designer is to include a simple wall mount template.

This said I still strongly recommend this shelf for it's design and 100% solid wood construction.

I am glad I purchased this instead of the traditional photo shelves I originally planned. This is very easy to assemble and makes a nice piece in my office to showcase items.

Very easy to put together but slots do not lock into one another so you have to be very careful when putting it up. Looks beautiful in the room, though, and it was a great price compared to other comparable shelves. I get lots of compliments on it!

The Good:

The shelf is very nicely designed, met my esthetic expectations. It is a very appealing piece, I love the Dark Cherry finish color. The delivery was prompt and unit very well packed, each part of the shelf was wrapped in paper and cushioned so all part arrived in ideal condition.

The Bad:

1. The unit is overpriced.

2. The assembly is not complicated, however there are no screws to keep all parts of the shelf components firmly together. The shelf parts are designed to "snap" one into another as pieces of a 3D puzzle, however, they do not fit tightly enough. That presents a challenge for a single pair of hands while mounting the shelf on the wall. The unit has no mounting hardware included, manufacturer provided only 4 screws that seemed to be meant as self's anchors to the wall. Luckily, my husband is very handy and he figured out how to deal with the mounting of the shelf. In addition, I had to stick in a piece of folded paper between a horizontal and vertical boards in one place where fitting part were too loose.

Nevertheless, I do like the end results and would recommend this unit to handy consumers for Family DIY projects.

I have been looking for a floating, multi level shelveing unit for quite some time. My issues were price and price. I stumbled across this product and was immediately captured by the lines, spacing (for frames and other things) and price. I settled for the honey because it was 20 dollars cheaper then most other colors but in the end I am glad I got the honey. It is a very nice shade and pops off of my blue wall.

I was worried about installation. I am not very handy...at all. But I was able to modify the instructions a little bit to make it a one person job, if you go by the instructions you will need 1-2 helpers. I was able to get everything done with in 30-40 minutes. For anyone who is handy, I am sure it will take less time.

I am very happy with the final outcome. I give it 4.5 stars.

For the price this is a good quality product. It is very strong with the bars in the back to make it more rigid. I put two baskets loaded with bathroom toiletries on the shelves and there is no problem with the weight limit or bowing of the shelves. I thought it would come with no stain on it, but they put a protective coating to make it nice and smooth so I was happy about that as I thought I would have to stain it. The only mod I made was adding tall rubber "feet" to the bottom since it is living in the bathroom next to the shower I did not want water on the floor to destroy it. It did come with some padding on the bottom but not enough for a bathroom environment. The product came quickly and no damage.

Sauder Heritage Hill 5 Shelves Bookcase in Classic Cherry Finish

I've bought many book shelves over the years on the low cost side as can't afford thousands for a bookshelf. By far this bookshelf by Sauder is the best I've purchased that was at an affordable price. Nice cherry wood finish all the usual parts for these kinds of bookshelves -and get this, even a "Furniture Touch-up Pen" included for any future mars or marks. Nice touch.

This is a great looking set of shelves that have a really classy look and will really bring something lovely to any room. The major problem with this is that the set up isn't the easiest I've ever seen and Sauder makes this actually a bit of an unnecessary pain in some places. Be prepared for a potential 3 hour exercise if you're not careful and don't try to do it alone. It's impossible. By far the most difficult aspect of the job is the front facing mouldings on either sides of the case. Some of the instructions could also be slightly clearer but all in all, the effort is worth it for a great affordable set of shelves. Also don't be put off buying other Sauder bookcases just because the construction of this one is slightly pyschotic. I've put up other Sauder bookcases and they were a lot easier.

Bookcase was well packaged, except for the back panel which was folded leaving two ugly creases. Books will cover them up but they can still be seen. Other than the back panel, it's probably the best looking screw-together bookcase on the market. I bought it to match my computer desk which is also the Heritage Hill series. Structurally, it's not so good. I may not have bought it if I had known the shelf capacities were considerably less than the competition. Sauder does not bother to tell you that the shelves are only 5/8" thick and the movable shelves carry only 25#. I think if Sauder will upgrade the shelf capacities and repackage it so the back panel would not have to be folded, they would have an outstanding product. They could also think about adding an optional sixth shelf since the spaces are almost 14".

This is a beautiful bookcase. After looking at hundreds of bookcases online, I chose this one and am very satisfied with it. I bought it to go in my son's bedroom for him to display all of his Legos' on. After getting the first one and putting it together with my son (He thoroughly enjoyed it, and compared it to putting together Legos'.) I ordered a second one. I highly recommend it! Just take your time assembling it because it can be a little confusing if you're not used to doing this type of thing.

The product has a rich color. Apart from the sloppy delivery causing it's first dent/scratch, the workmanship is "OK". Precision could be much better, as not all pieces line up tightly. It is somewhat sturdy, and the backing seams are very noticeable. Glad they included a touch up marker. Some traditionally metal pieces are now plastic. Overall, quality is no more than what you would expect for the price.

This beautiful hutch perfectly matches the massive desk that I ordered with it and it provides plenty of space and wasn't very hard to assemble despite it's very heavy weight. Unfortunately, the directions weren't quite as clear as they could be and, while assembling it, we managed to mar both outer side panels placing the blocks that the hinges attach to because you have to soak the dowels before putting them into the blocks and the side panels, but the instructions didn't warn us that you needed to sink them fairly deeply into the blocks or they'd end up punching through the sides.

Jewelry Mirrored Chest in Champagne Finish

I did a lot of searching before deciding to make this purchase. This included looking online as well as locally. I decided to purchase this chest because it had a champaign finish. I read reviews about the seller and saw good feedback. The chest arrived well packaged. My issue is with the product after I unboxed it. The chest arrived 2/12. While I was attaching the hardware I noticed the drawers and doors had a musty odor. I left the chest empty and left the drawers and doors open to air it out. After 2 days the smell was still there.

On 2/15 I contacted the seller and they provided the following comment from the manufacturer: "This is not totally unusual when dealing with imports from time to time. Please instruct your customer to spray some Lysol in the areas, and afterwards open the drawers up and keep them open for a couple of days to allow the scent to dissipate."

Well, today is 2/22 and I have followed that advice and the smell remains. I still have not been able to put items into the chest because I am still hoping the smell will go away. The chest is pretty but be advised there may be some issues with odor.

This mounted shelving unit was exactly what we were looking for after searching local stores and the internet. We hung our flat screen television on the wall and needed to connect our stereo receiver, cd player, dvr and blue ray. We did not want to purchase a large piece of funiture to house all of these components. We ordered this wall unit and received it within a week. This unit was very easy to install, includes a cover to hide the wires and shelves are very sturdy to hold all the weight of our components. I would highly recommend this mounted shelving unit. Wouldn't recommend hanging this in the reach of small children.

This product came in a timely manner. The packaging was injured a bit but all was well with the product inside the box. When mounting this unit, I recommend attaching it to a wall stud as the shelves are much heavier than expected. However heavy, it has the feeling of quality and looks neat and clean underneath my wall mounted flat screen. It also freed up alot of space. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes quality and clean lines in their furnishings.

I read every review for this product and similar products and found this to have the best review track record, but needless to say, I still had problems. The product arrived promptly with no damage. It was very easy to put together and mount to the wall. The depth of the shelves was adequate and the support frame was very sturdy. The wire channel was more then adequate for the cables I needed to run. Now the disappointing part! The glass shelves look awesome, but each shelve is glued to it's individual support frames. The glue gave way within minutes of mounting and setting my stereo and associated equipment on each glass shelf. I was nowhere near the weight limit of the shelves. After using a razor and alcohol to clean each of the gluing surfaces and purchasing "Gorilla Glue" and applying the glue to the cleaned surfaces, I was able to keep this from happening again. I shouldn't have to FIX products I purchase especially for the over price of this product. In any case, all is well and it looks great, after I glued the glass shelves back to the support brackets. It's a shame the manufacturer can't invest in a better adhesive for such an important part of the unit. I'm just glad I didn't have a heavy flat screen on the glass shelve when it decided to give way. Best advice; purchase Gorilla Glue, rubbing alcohol and a razor blade if you plan to purchase this product. Good Luck!

I liked the design of the product in that I was abale to put an XBOX, PS3,Wii and a phone all on the top shelf, cable box and wireless router on the second and modem and tivo on the bottom shelf and it seems to hold them up ok (I actually wall mounted my flat panel above the rack so it all looks like one unit). My issue is that the shelves com with metal cylinders glued to the glass shelves which have screw holes in them and are used for attaching them to the supports. One of the cylinders on my top shelf came off. I left voice mails and emails with the company based in the US and got ZERO RESPONSE. So if your package shows up missing a screw I guess your on your own.

Bought two. Glass shelving is excellent and features uniform detailing. Legs are rolled, not seamless tubing. Seamed tubing is poor design, but it's not too disruptive. Chrome end caps are plastic. Too much play between the holes in the glass and the leg insert-posts for on-center assembly. I wrapped each insert-post with tape to increase the diameter so they would self-center. Biggest disapointment: Metal legs oxidized and rusted on one unit in bathroom after three weeks. UNACCEPTABLE! This may have occured because I used the product "Limeaway" to clean a nearby toilet. Perhaps the vapor reacted with the metal -or perhaps it's just the humid environment??? Too bad, handsome item, especially for a bathroom environment where wood is a poor choice.

Good quality product easy to assemble and fit right. However, expected a higher quality with heavier steel since we recently purchased something similar locally which was better at marginally higher cost. Happy with product not delighted!
