Purchased two of these to use on a client install. Intended use was to hold audio/video equipment that couldn't be rack-mounted (i.e. stereo receivers/amplifiers, dvd recorders, TV/Monitors, etc). Holes match up perfectly with the rack, and there was no problem supporting the weight of multiple pieces of equipment on each shelf.

The depth of the shelves is perfect. Placing a stereo receiver on one shelf, I was able to line up the front of the receiver with the front of the shelf/rack rails, and the back of the shelf extended several inches past the back of the receiver. No worries about anything falling off.

These are a good buy, and I'll be buying more of them as I develop needs for them!

Product is solid and does the job of holding devices you can not mount in a rack. I have found StarTech products to be very durable, solid, and not made out of flimsy material.

I originally purchased 1 about 6 months ago and I purchased 2 more this week. These are good sturdy shelves that are capabable of holding a significant amount of weight. We put some rather large Adtran TSU's on them and they fit perfectly and we used another for a holding smaller non-rack mountable items such as a SOHO firewall and cable modem. The items arrived promptly and in excellent condition.

M4 bolts were sent to install on the rack but no nuts were included. When I contacted StarTech, they informed me it was an M5 bolt and graciously sent some with the appropriate nuts designed to fit in the rack holes. When I received them, the installation was easy and the rack is working well.

I ordered a new Black Standard Universal Server Rack Cabinet Shelf. It was supposed to be a 1U high shelf. I received a 3U shelf with scratches on 20% of the surface that goes all the way down to bare metal. This is totally unacceptable. The item itself would be okay if it's what I ordered, but it is not. Also from studying the shipping box, I don't believe the scratches were made during shipping. My rating is directed at Amazon for the poor transaction they are responsible for.

I used this to organize my kitchen cabinet with plants, bowls, etc. I CANNOT believe the difference looks like an entirely different cabinet much more room things are easier to get! I really want 4 or 6 more, but can't really afford right now. It is hard to tell by the picture, but the shelf is a really nice, heavy duty brushed metal with 1/2 inch slats. Easy to adjust. Very sturdy (I have stack of 12 plates on my).

The product arrived and was immediately put to use. It expanded to just the right size in my cabinet. Just the right size underneath for coffee cups and small glasses of a variety of sizes.

I love these shelves! I bought two of them to use in long, narrow cabinet that is part of the cubicle I sit at. Because the shelves are adjustable I was able to match the depth of the unit almost perfectly. The shelves are sturdy, well balanced and hold a good amount of weight.

The shelf is very well made. One of the legs was slightly askew and I bent it back easily without worrying about breaking it.

The height of the legs allows for cans (soup size and larger) to be placed underneath and retreived easily. And, I was able to place heavy items on top with no worries.

I received this cart well packaged, with all the parts. The instructions were numbered and easy to understand with diagrams. I put this cart together in 20 minutes, with no tools, as it says in the product details. It went together smoothly and the final product is VERY sturdy (supposedly holds up to 500 lbs, and I think it just might, but I did not test it.)

I liked that is has little raised guards on the two shelves. I added a rubber lining to the shelves, so that nothing would fall through. The basket is a mesh pattern and I did not need to line it, because the holes are small enough already. The wheels worked, the casters were not cheap looking, they seemed solid. There are brakes you can lock in place on the two back wheels, to keep the cart in place, Front wheels have no brakes.

This will not push easily on plush or shag carpet. It worked fine on cement, linoleum, and low pile carpet for me. It is quite heavy. I recommend assembling it in the room you are keeping it in, so you do not have to haul it up stairs or through doors.

The Black Anthracite color is not black, nor is it stainless steel, but a dark steel mottled color like gunmetal.

This cart is well constructed and is being used to hold my Cricut cutting machine and related supplies on the bottom two shelves. The cart stores away nicely in my stroreroom.

I needed something for my office that could be used for different things. I found this cart and I ordered it due to the easy assembly and the wheels. I gave it a four because after I built it I noticed the basket was bent. I was too lazy to put it back in the box.

This cart is very versatile. We use this to store computer parts in plastic bins. It wheels out of the closet and makes it easy to find what you need. It was online at Costco for $49, free shipping (arrived the next day!). I assembled it in about 35 minutes. It helps to have a rubber mallet.

The instructions are poor. There are just some really small pictures with a step-by-step description of what goes where. It does not tell you how far up the shelf retaining clips should be on the legs. It doesn't matter. I just measured so all were at the same height. The wheels are good quality and I like that two of them lock. The finish is a little unusual (but very nice), black flakes in a dark grey metallic base.

Unlike some recent metal items we bought (made in China), this one does not smell like nasty solvents.

Within the first 6 months, two of the three drawers were falling off and almost all of the corners

chipped. It just looked awful. We have a 48" LCD TV on it and the center started to sag after just a few months.

The only positive part is that my husband put it together quickly and without too much of an issue.

We will never buy another piece of furniture that "looks" nice but doesn't cost much, because this is what you get...

Figured it wasn't a good sign when after I purchased this tv stand, I received an email stating it was on backorder for 2 weeks. The company did offer to credit me $10 for waiting. More than 3 weeks later the item was delivered. Not hard to put together, but you could just tell that the material is not constructed very well. The edges flake, but with a thick black magic marker, you can color in where it chips easily. Came out of the box with many corners chipped. Again, I used a magic marker. Biggest concern is that it advertises that it's for a 60 inch tv, but it doesn't hold the weight of one very well. The middle of the top shelf sags from the weight of my LED tv! Not worth taking apart to send back. Just having a bit of buyers remorse. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money for a better quality tv stand. I wish I had.

I purchased this item from walmart.com and experienced hell with it. For some reason, I'm unable to review this item on walmart.com. I received it quickly, dragged this beast home, opened the box to find 3 of the main boards broken. I called the company per the instructions to only find out that they don't carry the large boards and was instructed to return it to walmart. Decided to give them one more shot, received the replacement, this time 2 of the main boards broken. This thing is obviously a piece of junk that can't handle shipping. I returned it and bought one from a furniture store that was twice the price but was delivered fully assembled. I don't know what I was even thinking, about to put a new 60" flat panel on this junk. In this case, it didn't pay to try and go cheap.

P.S. There's a lot more to this in regards to how walmart.com vs. walmart stores works but I'll save that for whenever, if ever I can review this item on their site.

The shipping box was damaged. One drawer slide was bent, and shelves had minor chips. The assembly instructions were a translation to English. The slides needed placement adjustment to have the front of the drawers line up. Over it is an acceptable piece of inexpensive furniture, but it requires assembly and some adjustments of parts. Be prepared for at least 2 hours of assembly.

It took me about four hours to put this together. Fairly simple too. But be prepared with d some help. It's very heavy being made of particle board. My 60" flat screen is also heavy. Which makes the unit sag just tad bit in the c center. In turn that makes the drawers not fit right or close right. Drawers are very light and cheap. They won't last long. I don't recommend this product. It doesn't fit together right.

I got this and saw it was made of particle board, so I sent it back. If you want cheap junk, buy this. Just know what you are getting. They try to use fancy words like "Engineered Wood," but make no mistake that what you will get is particle board with a black plastic coating. That's not what I wanted, so I sent it back. Also, a particle board tv stand has no business costing $230.

I read the reviews on this great-looking TV stand before I ordered it, and was aware that it was made from particle board, but I bought it anyway hoping that my experience would be more in line with the positive reviews. The heavily-braced box arrived today with no signs of distress to the packaging. I began assembly with extreme care, using hand tools to tighten the screws lest I strip anything, but the first time I picked up the perforated back board the vertical piece with holes in it for cords to pass through it simply snapped into two pieces. It broke across one of the hole cutouts, into two pieces. Imagine my dismay, assembling this stand at 11 PM on Dec 23rd, after having junked our old stand in today's trash. I'll ask the manufacturer for another piece to replace this one, but I'm quite leery about placing a $1000 flat panel on top of this incredibly cheap stand. Don't let the $269 price and nifty appearance fool you, this unit is probably worth about one-fifth of that. The lacquer finish is also partially delaminated and peeling away from the main back board, just icing on the cake!

While the Sonax stand looks very nice, we quickly discovered a huge drawback. We have a Vizio tv and cannot access the av plugs on the back of the tv once it is mounted. This means we cannot switch the cables to use a different video game system (have the Wii set up, but our daughter has a Smart Cycle and V-Smile game system) without removing the tv. HUGE hassle and so disappointing.

Another reviewer noted the lack of cable organization, which is also a drawback.

I normally like fully enclosed type TV stands but in this case I wanted to put it in a corner and save space so I bought this one. It took me about 2 hours to put it together and mount the TV. It all went together fairly easily but some of the pictorials could have been better. There is almost no verbiage in the directions, just all pictorials. There is at least one pictorial that should have been separated into two for clarity. The pictorials for mounting the brackets to the TV are lacking detail as well. Another con is that there is no wire management hole on the very bottom wood shelf. There was a small chip in the black laminate on a visible part of the inside frame on mine when I received it but I touched it up with a black felt pen and it looks fine.

Now that I have it all set up, it looks great. There were no missing parts. I still really don't like how the back is exposed so that I can see my white wall to the left and right of the center wire management board. I may staple some black felt on the backside to cover this but I haven't decided yet. Overall, the stand is of good quality. The assembly directions were not terrible but not great. All the parts were there for the build of the pedestal with one extra roller for the swivel base. They included plenty of different size screws, spacers, and washer to mount any TV! You will have extra TV mounting parts! And last but not least, the TV height is adjustable depending on what holes you use to mount it, plus or minus 5 inches.

I struggled with rating this with 4 stars. I would rate this with a 3.5 star rating if I could but rated it 4 stars as I don't think it deserves a lower 3 star rating.

These are a real bargain, and you can mount them inside your cupboard doors too. Come with mounting hardware. I think I got them direct from mfr. but would go through Amazon in future.

Each holds 6 regular spice bottles. When mounting them, leave enough space above to allow for getting the spice bottles out easily.

finally I got all my spice bottles out of my crammed cupboard and onto the doors where I can see them. Easy to install and nice because you can put them at any height to fit with your shelves. Great value too.

I bought these indending to use them, but installed the sticky back clip spice holders instead. I'm not a fan of putting holes in cupboards, especially not cheap cupboards like I have. If I had higher quality cupboards, I would buy a higher quality door spice rack.

I bought this to match my furniture and have some shelves for DVD Blue Rays as well as some decorative stuff. It looks really nice, but it probably won't last long. Not real sturdy sitting against the wall and hopefully it won't get knocked over. The rest of my furniture is solid wood, so this was a bit of a change for me. I use these racks to warehouse inventory. Small media items like books, dvds, cds, vhs, fit on these very easily with plenty of space for stacking. The shelving is very sturdy, which when you're dealing with heavy items like tools or hundreds of books, is essential. At 18" deep you have the ability to fit storage bins, crates and boxes with ease. In my case, since media items are fairly small, I am able to use these racks from both sides as they are set up about 4 feet from the wall.

These are the heavy duty racks you want in your warehouse, garage or basement. Weighing over 70 lbs each you may need help getting them to your set-up area but once you open the box just about any able bodied adult can put one of these together in short order without aid. You will find it convenient to have a rubber mallet!

Lastly, these racks are as easy to take down as they are to put up. Moving them is a breeze. Adding shelves leaves you with extremely narrow results as the center shelf is fixed as it acts to hold the top and bottom together in one rack. Overall these are tough, heavy duty, easy to put up & break down and suitable for a variety of uses.

I had a different problem from the other reviewers; I wanted a sturdy equipment rack for electronic gear, books, and stuff. The rack is located in my home office and not exposed to extremes of temperature and humidity. I've had it now for several months and it has been a joy and the complete answer to my rack and storage problems.

I have a work center desk arrangement and the rack is next to it; my electronic equipment is within easy reach which makes using the equipment very convenient. I have a lot of books stored on the shelves as well as DVD's and CD's. This has worked out much better than I had even hoped it would.

The ease of assembly was commendable; it went together with no problems and the only tool I needed was a rubber mallet. The thing that astounds me is how strong it is; I was a little concerned with how it might turn out since it went together so easily. There was absolutely nothing to fear, that rascal is the embodiment of strength and stability.

The particle board shelves are strong and dense (and heavy); I'm looking at them as I write this and can say I've had absolutely no problem with them. I suppose if exposed to high humidity a problem might develop, but I would think sealing them might help.

As I write this review I can look to my left and see the shelf I ordered; it looks, to a guy, very strong and handsome and has done a perfect job of holding everything I've put on it. I can reach over and try to shake it but it's solid as a rock, it doesn't sway or move at all.

I am a very pleased customer!

This is the third Gorilla rack system I have purchased. The first two were very solid pieces of gear. This one is solid but not nearly like the others. That the shelf boards are covered is nice. My main problem is that it arrived missing many parts. I contacted the company, waited a couple days and did not get a call back. Called again and got a human who was very nice. Told her the issue of the missing parts and gave my information. It's been a couple weeks and I haven't seen the parts to complete the purchase. The day after I talked with the nice lady, I did get a phone message from the company relating to my first call. In short, it's a fairly solid item. If there is any disappointment, it is because I have some previous one's, bought at Sam's Club, that are much more sturdy for the same price, and that the system did not arrive complete. I do not know if that was a problem with the folks at Gorilla Rack or with the company who delivered or warehoused the item. I still don't have a complete purchase.

I am squarely in the category of "not handy", so I always tremble when assembly is required, but these truly were easy to put together. I have purchased other shelving in the past from different manufacturers and lost an entire afternoon trying to build them. These went together in 20 minutes or so with only a mallet required to be sure the shelves were level and solidly in place.

I took one star away only because the instructions were a little light (relying on graphics rather than words) and it did cause me to redo one step when I mis-guessed on the parts and their order. In no way should that be a reason to avoid buying these. They are rock solid and hold a tremendous amount of stuff in our basement. Recommended purchase.

This went together quick and easily. It holds a nice number of items. Shelves are fixed but nice spacing allows for mutli-size books, etc.

I purchased this shelving unit to match two other items (in pine) in my kitchen which I bought from Ikea. Unfortunately, Ikea did not offer any presentable shelving in pine, and after long search I decided to by Furinno. It's OK for the price but keep in mind that picture presented here is really flattering. It doesn't look that good out of the box. I wish it was one shelf higher, a bit deeper and sturdier all together. Other than that, it's an all right product but I think I'll be looking further for something more impressive. Assembly wasn't complicated (I'm a woman).

I bought the spice organizer and love it. It is everything it claims to be and more. It was easy to install and is easy to use. Glass Shelf with Rail - Satin Nickel

This replaced a caddy that was on the shower head. I especially liked the fact it had the metal piece that keeps things from sliding off the shelf. The shelf had to be installed right above where the tile is in the shower so it's a little bit of a reach for me (I'm 5'6"), so without the metal barrier, it would be easy to accidentally push something off. Attractive, seemed easy for my husband to install, good size. No complaints.
