When we bought this display shelving we thought "for the price it would probably be OK". But, we thought it would likely not be as good as the picture suggested. We were wrong. The unit is solidly designed and came together great. The instructions were clear and the quality of the componants were excellent. The parts were complete and well packaged. This is one of the best build-it-yourself units I have ever bought.

I had to apologize profusely as my sweetie was putting the monstrosity together. Unless you just LOVE complicated items to assemble with dowels, all manner of screws, and cheap particle board don't bother. I had ordered 2 of these as a temporary solution for living room shelving. After we got one put together, the other was sent back.....immediately! The one we kept has a chipped "finish" as one of the dowels came through.

I like the shelves I bought. Initially I was a little frustrated by the directions provided for assembling the shelves, but in the end the shelves proved to be pretty straightforward to assemble. I had some slight difficulty with some of the screws, but the shelves look great in my living room and they lend the room a modern feel.

After getting another one, I did purchase this one, even in-spite of the color being nowhere close to cherry. Additionally, as with the other one, there were chips on the corners of the veneer on each shelf. Fortunately the chips were on the back side so as not to be so evident. All in all a good buy with free shipping.

Pros:

Very easy to assemble.

Packaged pretty well.

Stands firm even on carpeting.

Very sturdy since I have about 100 old LP's. I placed 50 on the bottom shelf.

Cons:

Not overly attractive for those who have decorating in mind.

Chipped shelves.

The color was nowhere near cherry, as I had expected.

For anyone needing a low cost shelving solution, this is a good deal. Remember, however, the color is more of a light oak than cherry.

This is an excellent purchase for those who have a lot of books sitting around the floor, as I did. These shelves are very easy to put together, they hold loads of books on the 3 levels, and they are cheap. I highly recommend them for people who want to get a small set of shelves to hold about 50-60 or more books.

decent shelf for the price, but the packaging is terrible. The first shelf I ordered arrived scratched, dented and with parts missing. The second was better, still dented, but I decided not to go through the trouble of returning a second one.

The product itself is ...or could be ...nice for the price. I just needed a couple shelves for books. I ordered two of them and the corners on half of them were damaged along the way. I don't know if it's a problem at the factory or with Amazon. The damage wasn't so severe that it was worth taking the time to rewrap and send back but still... Without the damage I would have definitely given four stars.

The wine rack is nice and very functional. My issue with it was the design of the shelves. The main piece is hinged and unfolds but you have to insert wooden dowels into pre-drilled holes to hold the shelves. The dowels were larger than the holes (I guess to make them snug) and you are instructed to insert them with a rubber mallet. Since there were no specific instructions on how hard or far to drive the dowels in I attempted to insert them as far as they would go. On one of them I split the wood around the dowel hole. After that I was very careful to tap them in only so far. This in my opinion is poor engineering and poor documentation. Had they documented better instructions and/or improved the design I would have been completely pleased with this product.

I love this rack. I'm not a big fan of putting things together. But the assembly that needed to be done on this rack was a snap. The sides & a couple of the shelves are hinged then the other shelves are assembled with dowel pins. It looks great!!

Kitchen Cart with Stainless Steel Top Base Finish: Black

From the front, which is what you see in the picture, it looks great, but from the back, there are silver metal screws up against a black backing which looks cheap. The wheel locks leave something to be desired and putting it together was a huge headache. Considering the price, you really can't find something like this without paying more, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Instead of thinking I got a deal on this, I feel I got what I paid for.

This item does not have a finished side on one side yet it is called an island. It says some assembly required but it is a build your own island from many many pieces situation. They package multiple types of screw in one bag with letters on the bag but you can't tell which letter coordinates with which screw. The wheels do not lock but they are supposed to, so if you lean against the island you and the island go flying across the kitchen. The drawers are more shallow than the depth of the island which is not that deep. Plastic drawer guides. The pulls are so cheap they hardly weigh anything but are made of metal. The top is a smooth not brushed stainless so it shows every fingerprint. I do not recommend this item at all.

Cheaply made. Time consuming to put together. Doors don't close well. Handles chintzy, the holes to put the screws in to attach the handles not centered properly, making it hard to attach them. Scratches easily. This will do until I can find exactly what I am looking for. Overall disappointed .

My wife bought this. I thought it was OK until I took the zillion pieces out of the box and started putting it together.

It's cheap, cheaply made, and the instructions are the worst I've ever seen. Putting it together is a total PITA. I came online to see if there were better instructions for it and this page came up first. I thought my wife might have paid $50-$75 for this piece of stuff, and was utterly SHOCKED to see it cost nearly $200.

We bought this table for our baby's nursery. It matched the other furniture in the room and has held up so far. She is 20 months now. It is pretty easy to put together. It holds baskets of diapers, burp clothes and books. It was inexpensive and works for our purposes.

This is a very cute changing table, and I like that it has slats all around the changing area. I did put a different pad in it since I already had it. The changing pad that comes with the table is very thin, but would do the trick as well.

This table is pretty light weight and not very sturdy, but it's not a $500 solid wood piece of furniture either. So I feel like I got what I was expecting. The only thing is that it's very short! I'm 5'8 and my back was killing me after I changed the baby a couple of times. My aunt is about 5'2 and it was hurting her back too. So I put bed risers under the table legs and that solved the problem. Although now if I hit the table it wobbles a bit more.

very grateful i knew the shelves were white instead of wood. i put canvas totes on the shelves (to organize clothes, etc), you can't even see the white.

the pad is thin, but i don't plan on having my child sleep there (lol) so it doesn't bother me one bit.

I thought the wood on this changing table was beautiful, it is also sturdy and the design is not shown justice by the pictures seen on the Internet. It is a very nice changing table and looks very rich. It matched perfectly with the Stork Craft Bradford 4-in-1 espresso crib and Stork Craft Beatrice 5 drawer Dresser espresso that we purchased for our babies room. The only thing I wasn't expecting was the two bottom shelves to be white instead of a dark brown (which you can't tell by looking at the pictures). The bright white of the shelves kind of sticks out, it didn't seem to make sense to me that they would use white shelves for this but they did. However after putting the baskets we purchased on it and other items you can't see it as much. (I guess we could always paint them dark).

I wasn't expecting to get a high quality piece of furniture, so I can hardly be disappointed. This serves its purpose well, for a good price. We have been using ours for 6 months with no problems. I like that there is a little wall around the changing area. That was important to me, and it's hard to find changing tables like that. It's wobbly, but we secured it to the wall anyway, so it's never been an issue.

The stand looks great after it got put together. However, I ran into a major problem during constuction. Some of the screws provided were too short. After fooling around for over an hour trying to get the screws to work, we finally went to 2 different hardware stores to find longer screws that would work. After being put together, the stand looks good and I was able to put my Onkyo receiver on it. However there was not enough room to hold my center channel speaker. If the right screws had been provided, it would have been a 2 hour job for 2 people. However it took us over 5 hours total due to the mishap with the wrong screws.

This shelf is a great product. It's sturdy and well made, was easily installed, looks as advertised. My only complaint is that the product description made me think that all three shelf locations could be adjusted, and I had wanted to lower the top shelf. However, only the middle shelf could be adjusted. This was a minor issue, and I'm very happy with the shelf.
