My husband and I purchased this dresser to use in our nursery. We searched high and low for changing table and/or dressers that could be used as a changing table and were disappointed with what we found. Most were cheaply made particleboard items, and we wanted something that could last and look great. This dresser didn't disappoint, especially at the sale price that it's now offered at. It did come in a million pieces, but everything was packaged well and there was no damage. My husband assembled the item in about 2 hours and it looks great! I especially love the detailing on the side of the dresser. It's a unique piece that we can use as the baby grows up. It would also be great for adults, though, as it is a sophisticated design.

This dresser is DECENT, but really not worth it. I wish I had instead bought a used dresser from an antique shop.

There are so many pieces to this dresser--takes forever to put together,

Also, the "wood" is very cheap.

I followed the instructions PERFECTLY, and the drawers do not line up at all. There are huge gaps in the whole thing. Ugh.

The dresser turned out cute, but it required a LOT more assembly than I expected. Also, I was expecting a bright white but it's a little off-white, almost ivory, so it doesn't perfectly match my room. But it turned out cute enough to use it for what I purchased it for :)

Very easy to assemble if you have a helping hand. Looks very sturdy. The middle shelf is not adjustable though as its used to hold the top and bottom pieces together.

I've had this kind of storage unit for years and the 4 new ones I got from Gorilla are just as well-built as the others. The units were all well-packaged and arrived via UPS with no damage. Each unit is as heavy as heck and it took two people to off-load from the truck. I was kind of surprised that UPS even handled such heavy items. Assembly is simple and involves no nuts or bolts at all.

I plan to improve the units by attaching a 1/8 " pegboard backing so stuff doesn't fall out from the back where it's difficult to reach.

I needed a very sturdy unit to hold my growing collection of tools and this was perfect. All the shelves are full (some with heavy equipment) and the shelves could still hold a lot more weight easily. It's not the most attractive looking, so I enclosed it and put doors on the front. Much better!

Corner shelf is just as described. It comfortable fits up to 16 Corelle dinner plates on the bottom shelf, 16 luncheon plates on the middle shelf and 16 dessert plates on top. This should cut down on the kids dropping plates while trying to unstack them. Nice and sturdy. Well worth the price I paid.

I am very happy to now have extra space in my cupboard this item sits in the corner and I can put the 3 different sizes of plates on it.

I am happy with this purchase overall. The reason why it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because it arrived a little bent so the supporting frame is not straight. It does not seem to have affected the overall performance and is sitting nicely on my kitchen bench in the corner holding plates and bowls. However, it would have been nice to have a product that was not bent. This corner shelf has saved me a lot of apartment space. Don't get much pantry/cupboard space being in a high-rise condo. Now I can display the frequently used items such as dinner plates and bowls and store other less frequently used items in the cupboard.

I had two spaces in an antique buffet that were narrow and tall. Usually things were stacked and I had to unpack them in order to get to anything. I didn't want the usual white kitchen organizer, I didn't want it to have a harsh look and they were smaller. I couldn't find this size or color locally. Fortunately found them on Amazon. Love them! They work great, look good. For the first time since owning the buffet (28 years), I can actually organize the space and use it's contents.

This is such a great product. So tired of having to pull all my pans out so i could keep them neatly nested and was always using the bottom (largest) pan. And getting frustrated when other family members were not as concerned with having them nest neatly :) this makes it so easy for everyone. The one good thing about the Kitchen Island is it arrived on-time. For the price I paid for the product it should have gone together smoothly. There was some damage to the front corner, some holes were not drilled through on the bottom, the inside walls are slightly warped so the shelves in the middle do not fit in (...its ok I was putting my kitchen aid in the middle anyways), the drawers are really flimsy and will not hold anything with any weight and my husband had a hard time getting them to line up and screw together.

I would return it but I brought it across the border to Canada and there is so much packaging bits that I doubt I could make it fit back in the shipping box. lol I will use it and it will work, but, for the price $500 I would expect better quality. Next time I will go local.

It took my husband several hours to assemble this kitchen cart. Some of the wood was warped, some of the holes were mis-drilled, and way too many cam-locks, which are surely Satan's invention. Some pieces were so nicely painted, except for the one side that would be exposed to the eye. Some manufactured wood, not a lot.

It does look nice, no missing pieces, seems sound and sturdy, but my husband won't let me move it. So I run to the kitchen when he's asleep and roll it all around the kitchen. He hasn't found out, and it's still standing.

Venture Horizon Media Storage Tower-Tall Triple

Value: Except for what I've stated below, it's worth the price if you have a lot of what it takes to fill this storage tower. I bought it with personal library expansion in mind.

Expectations: Except for what I've stated below, It holds everything I own. Well for now anyway. :)

Features: The instructions were easy to read and follow. Although, not much of an issue for myself, some of the pictures could have been a bit larger.

At 6'4" in height this thing is a beast. If you're height challenged you might need a ladder for this storage tower. Tower indeed.

Appearance: While it is just particle board, this media storage tower looks very nice. I'd expect you'd probably pay around $800-$1000 for solid wood. I bought the black finish and it looks great except for what I've stated below.

Overall rating: 4.25

The only complaint I have is the lack of thickness of the shelves.

I had expected for the price I paid that the shelves would not be so flimsy. They're only 1/4" H x 1' 11.25" W. Very flexible. Not good for holding the weight of what is intended.

While the unit does have center supports, which are located on the backboard, the shelves still sag a bit when filled.

This fact, in my opinion, detracts from the appearance slightly.

If this had 1/2" shelves I would rate this 5.0 in every category.

Also, the instructions as pictured told me to install the backboards with the red and blue color markings up towards the top of the tower. In fact the markings needed to be down as I ran into problems with the support pegs being out of line. Maybe just a factory error but check for this problem before you put all your shelves in. ;)

Synopsis:

The assembled storage tower looks great and none of the pieces were chipped, marred or broken upon inspection. The packaging was sufficient and arrived without damage. It is quite heavy as it is all in one box. I was able to carry it myself up a flight of stairs but I recommend help. The instructions were very easy to follow. Mostly pictures. If I didn't know English I still could have put this together.

When put together the unit is very sturdy and the supplied fabric-strip wall supports for earthquake prone territories were a big plus.

I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend with the above statement.

Our Spartak book(Media) case arrived as a 6' long box weighing about 130 lb. Inside was a complete kit including an instruction book that guided us well until we realized that the vertical supporting boards were missing the drilled holes needed to receive the front vertical covering pieces. We called Spartak and were answered by a slightly skeptical human. So we examined the situation carefully and called Spartak again and got the same man. This time he asked if we could send him photos of the boards and our email address. We did. We received a very polite and apologetic email offering to send us replacement boards. He said he had never seen this problem before. Their computerized system usually works or tells them of problems.

We had done a lot of work to install our boards before we noticed the problem, so we wanted to try to drill the holes ourselves. We did and finished the bookcase ourselves. The whole job took us about a day and a half.

The bookcase is inexpensive, made of particle board and masonite, but the pieces fit and the hardware is sturdy, so the final case seems solid enough. It is sold as storage for CDs and DVDs and video tapes, so the shelves are shallow. It holds my paperback books very well.

I would recommend these bookcases to people I think could build them. I will probably buy another smaller one.

I saw a lot of negative reviews on this tower. It took me some time on purchasing it because i kept going back and forth on wither to buy it. Finally i said what the hell and bought it! I am so happy I did. I bought the walnut finish and it looks great. I have no problem with sagging in the shelves. The one thing i would say is take your time putting it together and to have at least two people putting it together. We had four and it went really fast. My son who is 9 helped me. Then towards the end I had my husband and his friend help me and my son lift it to put the back on since in till you have the back on its not to strong. Also read the instructions first before putting it together. A lot of people said they have sagging shelves.It wont happen if you use the supports they give you. You use the 6 support shelf brackets two in the back and two on each side then after that you use the round locking circles on the back two corners and VOILA` no sagging simply :)

I have a large CD collection and when I found this rack, I thought my problems were solved. The biggest problem with this rack is the quality of the materials. On other CD racks I own, the shelves are made of a 1/2" 5/8" MDF or solid wood. The shelves on this rack are 1/4" thick. The span of these shelves is comparable to my other racks, which do not require any support other than either end. This rack, however, requires supports on both ends, the center and they have these other discs to keep the shelf from 'sagging.' The shelf wouldn't sag if it was made from a thick enough piece of material. The worst part is, when I have been adding CDs to the rack, if I just slightly bump one of the center supports, both of them fly out, then the shelf immediately sags. I have had to physically glue in center supports to keep them in place. Very disappointing. Also, to actually use the entire length of the shelf, you have to tuck CDs behind the front trim pieces on either end of the shelf, so you can't have a full shelf and just easily slide out any CD. The thing is...it's too big to even repackage or return. I bought this through Stacks and Stacks and they were super about getting it out quickly and they have the best price I have seen online. Otherwise, the rack is nice looking. The cherry color that I bought is a medium shade of cherry, not a red cherry color, but still very nice. If you have a large collection, save your money and have a cabinet maker build you a custom shelf. You'll be happier in the long run.. I wish I had.

The shelves have little grommets to help prevent sagging but they do not do the job completely. I like the look of the unit and perhaps I'll be able to rig a shelf support system myself.

the shelf brackets were fine. Just too many. The description does not mention there are 20 in a pack so when ordering one, you get one packet of 20.

The first review I read regarding the shelf supports were that there were "too many". I thought this was great as I wasn't sure where and how many shelves I was going to use. I did alot of research before purchasing this shed on sale at 997! All other reviews have been awesome on other sites... and I can't say how the winter / snow will be since we haven't had to deal with that yet. However, the beams do seem very strong, and there are a bunch of them, so I can't forsee any trouble.

However, there are more then 500 screws that go into this, so it will take 3-4 hours to build, 2 adults. It is easy to build, nice shelveing and slots to hang things, etc. One inner light, 2 vents and a window that does open. All in all a great shed for the money. It really looks nice too, our neighbors have commented on it.

We had no problems with the instructions, and the doors went on easily and aligned perfectly. They open wide, so no need to worry about them reclosing or not enough room. Roomy inside, 8 x 10. Left door has its own lock to keep it shut, and space to lock both doors from outside.

I have to admit that I am very satisfied with the lifetime shed, came in two heavy boxes on a pallet and I had to move and put together by myself, but was very pleased with the outcome. I would strongly suggest making sure that you have a level and solid surface to place it on, makes all the difference in the world. The shed stays relatively cool and it stays dry, and this is Florida, locks up securely, although I did put a solar security light on mine. So far very happy with this purchase.

Ceva delivered two heavy boxes, not at the end of my driveway, but carried them into my backyard for me. Right on time, exactly when they said they would. Friendly, promptly, courteously. Cleaning out and knocking down the old shed was the hardest part. Most of it was put up by two people on the first day. All the parts are labeled, but my complaint about that is the part number on the piece you are assembling does not match the letter in the instructions. YOu have to refer to the front of manual each time to make sure you are using the right part. I'm over 60, female, and used a college boy to help me. I put the customer service number on speed dial, and they were super! I must have called them 8-10 times to clarify what I was seeing in the pictures (it's an all picture instruction manual). Once you start putting up the walls, you have to finish the roof to stabalize the structure. We were working in a stiff wind, so it was a challenge. Pushing in the side panels which I have done before on smaller sheds was not "a snap". We had to raise the floor with shims (provided) and the hard wood (also provided). We eventually got on a roll with it, but some of the panels would pop out again. We worked from 10 am thru 8pm and finished everything except the top pieces of the roof. My helper was not available the next day, so I tried finishing it myself but was unable, due to neck problems. I asked the crew boss of the lawn service if I could borrow one of his men for 10 minutes, and although he didn't speak English, he was able to decipher the picture manual and finish the shed very quickly. Three people would have finished the shed in less time, probably in 8 hours. That third hand comes in handy for a few minutes at a time. No special tools needed, everything was included. It's beautiful. My 6 yr old grand daughter wants to use it as a playhouse..lots of light. It is now full of tools, bicycles, lawn mower, and plenty of boxes. We had torrential rains and flood watches a few days later with winds to 30mph. It held like a champ, although a little water came in around the skylights. A dab of silicone will fix that, but everything else was dry!

I would give it five stars but I feel a little refining of the assembly manual is needed. Five stars for customer service.

First of all, I really liked the size of this shed and looks like a playhouse. We had to have a bottom floor put in to accommodate the size. Putting together this size was a HUGE challenge. The instructions were just pictures as to how it looks like. So many screws (better more than less which is okay) to track. It was heavy plastic but it jiggles and some of the parts were bent. It took us 2 1/2 days to put everything where it should be except for some remaining parts which we don't know what to do with. Putting the roof was the biggest stumbling block because someone has to press from the top so that the screw can be put in right from underneath. You can't lean on the walls as it comes off the floor. One thing that I really want to mention is the problem with the door. We had to adjust the screws holding that door a number of times because of the alignment. The lock was too short so the door keeps on popping open. Because the door was bent, rain water comes in and so we had to put plastic and cardboards so it does not collect on the floor or the stuff we put in will be sitting in water. There is no way to return just a piece or replace a piece (like the door bec it was bent) and we are not willing to take it all apart and put them back in the box.

For the delivery, we expected that they would be able to put it off the driveway and nearer where we were panning to put it. NOPE, he came, dropped it in the middle of the driveway and gone. The man said nothing except to make us sign that it was delivered.

This is a nice piece of furniture with quality wood and finish. It went together easily although the directions were not 100% accurate. I was hesitant to purchase furniture online but not finding what I wanted in stores I took a chance. It arrived early and was packaged very well. Each piece was wrapped in a foam wrap and there was plenty of styrofoam to cushion the parts so they didn't shift in the box. I am very happy.

My storage closet has permanent wire shelves but they are too far apart; this wastes a LOT of space. None of the other stacking wire shelves work, since there is no way to stand them up on wires. These baskets solved the problem by hanging DOWN from each shelf rather than trying to stack things ABOVE a shelf. I got several of them and transformed (doubled) my closet space in about 5 minutes. Wow, that was worth the money! Otherwise I was going to rip out existing shelves and spend a bundle and make a mess.
