This is the second Furinno product I've bought. I love their simple design. For a small table, this is very sturdy. I have my multipurpose printer on it and it's fine. I use the bottom shelf for a bin of files and stuff. It's very easy to assemble, no tools required. Just like the desk I bought, the finish is lovely.

It is perfect in my small office for my printer and files! Easy set-up and I am disabled so it is a Great find for me!

This is a very affordable product that takes less than 10 minutes to assemble. My only gripe, which is a small one, is that some of the corners of the shelves were damaged (during shipping i presume). Since it is made of particleboard, the "wood" is very soft lending itself to being damaged easily. Overall I am happy with the product and I simply used the better looking board for the top shelf.

Expanded Shelf System (Natural) (62"H x 80"W x 15"D)

I just got the shelves a week ago, but so far I'm very pleased. I'm using them as two separate shelving units one for my clothes and the other for random stuff, including heavy textbooks.

They were easy to set up. Although there were no directions, you just had to put in 16 screws (hex key provided), then the shelves are place securely on the horizontal bamboo supports.

I recently purchased the bamboo book shelf on Amazon.com. It was a fantastic purchase. Even better than I expected. It was well worth the money I spent and I know it will be an excellent addition to my home for years to come.

Gatco 4246 Latitude II Glass Shelf, Chrome

Bought this a year ago, just got around to mounting it. At least at that time, the mounting instructions and template are nearly a quarter inch off from where the mounting holes are drilled in the shelf. We did get it up after a little struggle, and it's a pretty shelf. It's heavy and does want to be mounted securely, however.

This shelf is solid. The glass is a good thickness, and conveys quality. The metal has a nice brushed look. The top caps that secure the shelf do not consume too much real estate. I can see how someone who didn't know what they were doing would struggle with the install. The template wasn't all that useful. I basically assembled the shelf and held it up to the wall. I marked a small dot at the base of each circle. Before marking, I used a level to confirm that each side was the proper height. I then used the distance between the two circles (listed on the template) to confirm the manual markings. I cut out the circle section of the template and used that to identify the two drill holes, lining up my small dot to the bottom of the circle template.

The glass gets a little loose after a few weeks and may need tightening every now and tehn.

Beautiful shelf, but was too difficult for me to install. I ended up getting something else easier. Called for tools I do not have and required you install on a stud. Would be a lovely shelf for more handy folks.

Got five pieces from this collection to furnish a new bathroom. Looks very high-end for the price. Sturdy & well finished. Worth getting. Take good measurements because returns are cumbersome & expensive. I just kept extra pieces 'cuz it cost too much to return.

Neu Home Organize It All Chrome 24-Can Holder

...so I could examine one in its pristine state. Mine arrived a bit bent. Still usable, but bent nonetheless. Bent at the weld points-not the actual rails (the rails are straight as hell). the result is that it won't sit flat on a horizontal surface, but rather canters playfully; and when the contraption is inside the fridge, and you load a can from the top chute (which, admit it, is half the fun of this toy-er, space-saver) it "miscues" approximately 40% of the time, with the can turning perpendicular to the direction of travel, and preventing any further loading of cans until you reach waaaay back in the fridge and give the errant can a 90 degree twist. On the other hand, I can say that once all the cans have been loaded correctly, I have never had one "miscue" by removing one from the front.

I suspect this slight bent-ness (which I notice was mentioned in other reviews) may have more to do with OIA's shipping methods, rather than a quality control issue at the factory,... but that is totally a hunch. I have no evidence to support my theory.

I will be ordering another one, because the complaints are minor compared to the efficiency gained, and I will consider reporting any further discoveries in a future review.

P.S. Keep in mind that any canned beers (what? Oh, was I the only one using this thing for beer? well excuse me!) manufactured by Coors (e.g. keystone, coors light) are for some inexplicable reason, like, 1/16 of an inch taller than any other can. Their cans still fit (barely) in the can holder contraption, but the "miscue" rate shoots up drastically to say, 80%.

That allows you to store shoes on the bottom shelf and under it, hang coats on the next to top shelf, and store gloves, hats and scarves on the next to top and top shelves. (I have one set up like this in my garage for winter coats, boots, gloves, etc.)

BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews can take the place of first-hand experiences that are lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there was anything you thought was lacking or unclear leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it.

I've tried both this version of shelving and two other versions that were more plain, gray steel varieties that assembled with pre-formed rivets that slot together. One of those cut the heck out of my hands. The other had no sharp edges, but was extremely unstable during assembly, and effectively required two people to hold it together until fully framed.

Not only is this shelving much, much easier for a person to put together by himor herself, it is also much more stable that the alternatives. And, despite the fact that it's fairly light-weight (and thus easier to move than the alternatives), it's at least as solid. I'll buy more of these.

Like the previous reviewer, we tried many different metal shelves, but none are made as sturdy or with the same quality as Whitmor, and assembly is a breeze.

Not only do we use these shelves as basic storage, but they're so attractive that we also use the 4 tier chrome shelf as an entertainment unit. With each shelf holding up to 350 lbs., you have limitless possibilities.

You might pay a bit more for Whitmor, but the quality is well worth the price.

I bought one of these specifically for my kitchen for extra appliance and canister storage and am very happy with the result. These shelves are strong, sturdy, and attractive enough to be on permanent display. As mentioned in another review, they are easy for one person to assemble. I'm quite pleased with them and will probably buy another in the near future.

One problem, for my intended application, that I didn't think about when I bought them: These are wire shelves, so there are gaps between the wires . Appliance cords dangle through the shelf wires; appliances sit cock-eyed when the feet don't line up with the wires, etc. However, this was rather easily solved: I made a quick trip to the hardware mega-store for some thin acrylic sheets (think Plexiglass) and a cheap plastic-scoring knife. I made a few measurements, scored the plastic with the knife, snapped off the excess and ended up with crystal-clear tops for each of the shelves.

Each wire shelf has a slight wire lip around it and my new plastic tops fit flush with the lip and were held in place by it. Now appliance cords don't hang down through the shelf; appliances don't sit cock-eyed and small items are safe. And, due to the angle of my kitchen lighting, you have to look very closely to even see the covers.

None of this takes away from these shelves. They'll serve you well for a long time.
