Seville Classics 4-Shelf Dura Style Shelves with Wheels

I've been buying several metal shelving units in this style, mostly for my pantry and porch. I primarily store canned goods, some bulk foods, garden tools and supplies, potted plants, cans of paint etc. Nothing terribly heavy and my shelves aren't packed because my whole intent is to keep things looking organized and neat. So I don't really understand the complaints in the other reviews for this item. This shelf holds all my garden supplies perfectly, the shelves are sturdy and stable, and you can certainly wheel the cart reasonable distances with items on the shelves. The instructions say that you cannot/should not wheel it with the shelves LOADED. Considering each shelf holds up to 200lbs of evenly distributed weight, yes, I would not try to wheel around 600-800 lbs of stuff, or even half that.

If you're looking for a good, sturdy, attractive shelving unit, this is a great option. I put it together myself and did not have to hammer any of the shelves. I'm not saying it was easyit got a bit frustrating at moments but it was certainly do-able and worth the extra effort to have a really solid unit. Also, mine came with the option of either the wheel feet or regular feet if you do not want your shelf to roll.

Mine was missing one of the connector threads to screw the pole halves together but I called Seville Classics and they shipped out two of them to me the same day, no charge. I have generally preferred the Seville Classics metal shelves over a few Whitmor shelves of the same style. Good quality, reasonable effort, and they all look great!

If you have ever assembled the old nut, bolt and braces metal shelves, you have known frustration. If you have ever tried to disassemble them, you have wanted a wrecking ball. The Seville 4-tier shelving unit is easy to assemble, easy to move, easy to disassemble, and facilitates storage and organization needs. I bought one 4-tier and 3 5-tier. I am entirely satisfied.

The description of this product indicates that each shelf holds 350 pounds (or 500 pounds, depending on which part of the description you read) and the photo clearly shows the NSF stamp on the shelving. However, the shelving that arrived is rated at 200 pounds/shelf and is not NSF certified. It wasn't a deal breaker, but I was a bit disappointed. (I chose this unit over another less expensive one because it was supposedly NSF certified.) The shelving went together easily and is of adequate quality. However, the wheels are difficult to lock.

If I could put the shelving together by myself, anyone can! No tools are needed, although a rubber mallet (which I had) would be helpful. The product is well-made, all the parts were in the box, and the directions are clear. I slightly mis-calculated the first shelf and it wasn't level and I wasn't sure how to undo it. I phoned the customer service number and got immediate advice. Start-to-finish, the shelves were all done in 35 minutes. If I needed more shelving, I would definitely buy this again.

As stated by others, the model SHE15363 upon arrival does not bear NSF certification even though stated as such in the description. Not a minor detail if used in a food & beverage or medical work environment. Additionally I have found the NSF certification usually reflects a higher overall degree of quality in constuction and finish.

Nevertheless I am satisfied with this model, and with wheels included the price was right. Used for storing tools it does just fine. Have assembled many metro style shelves and use them in home, garage and workshop. Strong enough to carry a lot of weight and with wheels a breeze to move. This one went together easily enough although it was a bit of a challenge to keep the plastic sleeves in place while the shelf was positioned. Used blue masking tape to hold sleeves in place until shelf was prepositioned, then removed tape before tapping in to place with a mallet. Overall a sturdy and attractive shelf and five stars for overall value.

Seville Classics and/or Amazon should clear up the product description regarding the NSF certification.

I have a very narrow cabinet and found it hard to get things in the back, but this shelf pulls out and I can get to everything. It's also very sturdy. I like the chrome.

In our lower kitchen cabinet, we have a tall cutting board cabinet. It had a 3/4" vertical wood divider that made its use inefficient as we kept cutting boards on one side of the divider and foil, zip lock bags, etc. on the other all crammed in so we could only use what we could see in front of the cabinet, or what fell out when the door was opened. And we had more cutting boards and trays than would fit in only half the cabinet.

After removing the wood divider, I purchased a rev-a-shelf cutting board slider and installed it on the bottom of the cabinet. Then I installed this pull-out shelf above the tallest cutting board and we now have plenty of storage for all our cutting boards and all the food storage wrap and stuff.

These were easy to figure out how I wanted to install them after I made sure I had measured the cabinet to order the right size units.

As we have a lot of stainless steel appliances, it was nice to get stainless steel pullouts instead of appliance white pullouts.

This is a great product for storing all sorts of things, such as canned goods, small pots, lids for pots. I love the fact that I am able to pull it out & see things at a glance.

I have made multiple purchases of these Rev-A-Shelf pull-out baskets,( and a few other, but similar brands), both the single as well as the double level models. I have installed 4 in the kitchen, 2 in the master bath and one each in the guest bathrooms. The Single pull-outs are a breeze to install though the double (lower and upper level pull-outs that allow each level to pull out separately)can prove a bit more difficult to install, especially if the cabinet opening is narrow. However, I think anyone with a drill, marker, and a screwdriver can install them with a minimum of DIY abilities. There is a video, I believe, that suggests they can be installed much faster than I found the case to be. Nevertheless, I had minimal difficulty after figuring out installation of the first one. Fortunately, my wife LOVES them. They are beautifully well made with attractive stainless steel and chrome and have allowed us to not only organize and retrieve items with ease (no more bending over or lifting heavy pans and Pyrex to get at the biggest ones which are always under a pile of lighter pans, nor getting down so as to reach into the back of the cabinet for hard-to-reach items. Also, we discovered that what used to require two cabinets for storage now requires only one cabinet.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the cost. I did this reluctantly because cheaper ones I found at the local hardware stores are available and cost was a concern, but they do not look nearly as nice nor are they available in as many different sizes. For us, the appearance, quality and dealer we dealt with were more than worth the cost, though you may feel differently. Certainly, they are not cheap, but every one of our family and friends who have seen ours now want ones of their own. I would not hesitate to recommend them or the seller, especially if you have any difficulties bending down, finding enough storage, etc. My wife is handicapped, so for us it was a no-brainer, but I would have gotten them regardless.

The important measurement that needs to be included with this item (and is NOT) is the interior. It is 10 3/4" from one side to the other INSIDE the vertical rods of wrought iron. If your plate is wider than 10 3/4", it is NOT going to fit in this thing. I really wanted to use my beautiful china with this, not buy new plates! AND GUESS WHAT... My stand also arrived missing one of the rubber feet. This throws off the balance and might scratch my table. This company has issues with quality control. No attention to detail! Very disappointing.

Cabinet looks great. SHipment came very quickly from California (we're in Ohio). Glass and cabinet piece was not damaged packaging did good job. One problem with the latch that closes the glass panel; the screw holding in latch was loose so we put in a bigger one to hold it firmly.

Originally ordered the HO scale case in walnut finish. The packing box came marked as walnut but the display case was in the black finish. Impressed with the quality of construction, finish, and care in packaging provided for the price. My only minor criticism is the shelf space is really tight in both depth and height for some HO cars and locomotives. Due to the case being in the wrong finish, I returned it and re-ordered another in walnut but this time in the O scale size to provide more room for the HO equipment. Had an easy and very good experience in the return authorization process. Will most likely order additional case if this works out. Again, very good quality for the price.Also, I would probably beef up the hanging hardware if planning to use for display of heavier items like collector-quality locomotives; this can be done very easily.

I ordered the HO & O scale display cases. Both look very good and are sturdy. I recommend screwing a cleat to the wall then hanging the case from the cleat. I wouldn't hang it using the hollow wall anchors supplied. I was expecting a glass front but it turned out to be some type of plastic probably better than glass. Company representative was great to work with and answered my e-mails very promptly. He even refunded my shipping on one of the cases when it did not arrive on time.

These are great!! I purchased 7 of these and mounted them to the inside of my pantry door. It brought style, uniformity and functionality to my array of spices. I can fit 5-6 tall square spice jars in each rack. They are easy to mount as well. Everyone who sees them, loves them!

My only complaint is that the screws are too long. To solve this we gorrilla glued a 1/4" piece of wood into the back of the cabinet, stained it and then used the screws to go into that piece of wood. We also added washers and then used more gorrilla glue to secure the screws permanently. We have a small kitchen so this was a really great buy to help keep us organized. I love it! Worth the extra attention to make it work!

4 Shelf Locks for 1 inch supports

This company advertises "8 clips/pack." However, they only send you 8 halves for a total of 4 clips. Compared to other venders who clearly indicate "half clips" in their product discription, this is very misleading and has proven remarkably frustrating because Amazon was not willing/able to make a correction in the order quantity. Net result has been a huge waste of time!

I found these at a decent price and the shipping was reasonable. The clips roughly fit the 1" metal legs on my kitchen cart. There's a slight gap left, so my guess is that they are designed to fit pieces 0.75" in size. Nonetheless, they have done the job and my shelf seems adequately supported. The "clip" in the product description refers to a single plastic piece, two of which are required to "clip" the round metal. This set will, therefore, surround four legs and provide support for one shelf.

For me, the downside to this product was its vague description. I incorrectly guessed that I'd be getting 8 *sets* of clips, and knowing the size ahead of time would have been helpful.

I have long shelves in the closet with nothing separating one stack of clothes from the other...it was always a challenge to keep the stacks neat especially since the husband is always in a hurry and just grabs from the piles. These are excellent shelf dividers. I tried several kinds without much success until I found these. They are nice and sturdy, firmly clip to the shelf and are very stable. I don't rate very often, but I love these and they are well priced. I have shelves that are wide and I put two folded stacks of clothes, but they always fall over. This fixed the problem and it looks so much neater. No more refolding or messy shelves. I am going to buy some more for my other shelves. They fit well on my shelves. With a little strength you can bend the clip part so it fits tightly on just about any thickness of shelf. They arrive quickly too!

There were cracks and chips on four pieces out of a total of nine to this bookcase. Luckily, I have just purchased furniture cover up markers from Amazon. I had to use a lot of it. It's not perfect and the spots are still noticeable. Plus, one leg is slightly shorter than the others which makes the bookcase rock back and forth. I had to use cardboard under one leg to level the bookcase. Absolutely poor poor quality!! It's too heavy and costly to return, so I am stuck with it. Take my advice...don't buy!!!

One of the reasons I purchase this over the toilet Etagare was because it was listed as 34 inch it is not it is.24 inch wide. Otherwise it is very sturdy and good looking furniture.

Check the bottom back slat to make sure that it is high enough to fit the toilet water cables . That was the reason I gave only 4 stars.

I like to have a home for everything and this does the trick. Space savers are not deep enough to hold bath towels however they are great for everything else

I have not received the product yet but I will update this review at that time. I went to the other website for Zoro and found that I could get this with 24" wide shelves like I wanted for just a little more money. Total was $69.99 each but with Free shipping. One negative is that it doesn't say how long it will take to ship. It had another shipping option for USPS but it still didn't really say anything.

I bought this because my only other option was the Schulte 20" Under Shelf Basket that was over $20 ea. It turned out to be a great buy! The shelf is as sturdy as the Schulte and 1/3 the price. I use it to utilize the space I have now that I use a flat panel instead of a CRT monitor. My desk has a hutch over the monitor that the flat panel cannot fill. So I hung this in the space beneath the upper book shelf there and recovered the space. Now I can store the tape dispensor, stapler, and the negative convertor for my scanner. The open squares of the basket allow me to hang scissors in easy reach too. It goes a long way toward organizing the desk area. (See customer pics)

I have noticed since Wire World has started selling on Amazon all the Shulte under shelf baskets are coming down in price. This size has come down nearly half the price. Competition is GOOD!

I have so much wasted space in cabinets and closets. This slipped right on (no mounting required) and now I can separate my washcloths and towels and have room left over. Highy recommend.
