Very nice solution for a quality closet system at a reasonable price. Also, can be easily disassembled if you wanted to move it somewhere else. I spent a long time researching what I was going to use in my closet after renovationsI am very pleased with this purchase.

60" Wood TV Console with Mount
The console is good and sturdy and I don't have any problems with the heavy TV being mounted on the frame and not being able to hold it up safetly, because the mount is good and sturdy.
The appearance of the unit is great and matches the decor of my room perfectly also.
The minor flaws are this;
#1) there should be a more sturdy way of securing the doors to the unit so that when you have the more weighty VHS tapes in the door itself, it doesn't cause the doors to sag. My right door won't stay up level, as it should because when I opened it up after putting all the VHS tapes that I had in it the hing or the screws wouldn't hold it in place and so it's a little off. I would suggest that if you buy this unit, DO NOT put VHS tapes on the door shelves, it can't handle the weight. I would suggest that you use those shelves for the light weight DVD's.
#2) The TV Mount pipe that attaches to the unit doesn't have any opened holes toward the bottom and top on the back to feed the wires and cables to the TV from the power amps, DVD players, console games etc. That would help to hide all the cords hanging from the TV to the back of the console. This problem can be remedied by buying some black zip ties and pulling the cords to the back of the mounting pipe where they will be out of sight and securing them to the pipe.
Overall I am very please with this console and still with the minor flaws mentioned would buy it again because it is better than anything else that I found on the market.
RDSI absolutely love the console. Perfect for our 60" tv. My complaints are that it didn't come with bolts to mount the tv to it. Or at least I didn't receive them. Luckily, we had bought a universal wall mount for our other tv and it had 2 sets of bolts and thankfully, the bolts we weren't using for that tv are the bolts that we needed for it! And then the screws for the doors won't all tighten completely which is making the door sag a little and we don't have anything in it. Just need different screws to make it work better. Overall, the look is very nice and perfect with our decor and the tv looks great!!!!

It took 5 hours to put together but the finished product was just what we wanted. It had to fit in our living room on an angle and not topple over easily. There was some problem figuring out how to mount the TV so it wouldn't be too high. (Walker Edison 60 inch wood TV stand with mount, black). It wasn't all black.Read Best Reviews of 60" Wood TV Console with Mount Here
the fasteners for the door hinges seem to be to small for the weight that doors were designed for. the doors were tipping toward the center causing them to rub on the base of the cabinet scratching the finish along the edge. using some larger and longer screws has solved this problem. I have a 70" flat screen sitting on top and it looks perfect. so I'm very pleased overall.Want 60" Wood TV Console with Mount Discount?
First, it took me 5 hours to complete the entire assembly process (with was with taking my time to make sure I only have to do this once and 2 10 minute breaks). Even at best, plan to work on this for a few hours when you buy it. Also I cannot stress enough, have someone help you left this or use a hand cart with ratchet tie downs, it is long and heavy. I lift people for a living, and trust me you need help or you will hurt yourself or damage the product. Once it was all put together I was very pleased, it looks great, very solid.NOW, here are my 3 concerns and problems that I think the company (Walker Edison, not MayFair) need to address.
#1 the corner feet for these suck royally. I'm sorry but if I'm trying to move it back and forth a few inches to get the right angle and have a foot slip off its annoying. Eventually one of them will break since they attach to the frame with two tiny wood dowels. The feet themselves are thick and solid, as they need to be for the weight, but the attaching mechanism really sucks for slight adjusting. If one breaks I'm just getting high end coaster wheels.
#2 Also the tv stand mount that comes with this is definitely heavy duty and will easily hold up my 55" TV. BUT, its not a higher end bracket system which they have on their other models. So we will see how installation of that goes today. I don't predict any major problems as its a lighter model TV, but its still 55". Believe me it the mount doesn't hold the TV properly I'm returning this item in a heartbeat, with a nasty gram attached.
#3 The doors are great, but they are a pain in the butt to level just right. I adjusted one twice and the other 3 times. Still not perfect, but better than originally and I don't want to strip the wood by inserting screws too many times into the same holes.
STILL all in all these are minor things when you look at what you get for your money. I would recommend this to anyone, its functional, sleek, and good quality (minus the before mentioned minor things).

John Louis Home Standard Closet System in Maple or Mahogany
Aesthetics: The wood, finish and hardware are of considerable quality and look great. I chose the Red Mahogany finish and it truly makes a difference in our closet (we had those regular white wire organizing systems). The edges are soft yet masculine enough to appeal to any husband/significant other and the shelves are reminiscent of a spa-type atmosphere.
Options: The kits include design ideas for numerous closet sizes and configurations and have everything you need. Hardware, drywall reinforcements, touch-up stain, diagrams.
Ease of installation: Although capable of being a 1-person installation the job would be much simpler with 2. Simple enough for the novice handyman, tools required are limted and basic if you have a hammer, power drill/screwdriver and a saw of some type, you're in business. Obviously, the right tool for the right job makes any task easier, but if your toolchest is limited, the above mentioned items will easily get you thru this project. Instructions are easy to follow and installation time isn't long and drawn out; it took me working by myself to completely install one kit approx. 2.5hrs (for our closet, 1 kit outfits one side with some remaining pieces). Be sure to install into as many studs as possible for strength. I hit 90% of the studs in our closet and the shelving is strong enough to hold the weight of my 3-year-old who decided to sit on one of the lower shelves (shoe shelf/rack) to help daddy work:-)
Modifications: If you're really handy and like a challenge, take any remaining pieces to really go all out. Since i needed 2 kits for our closet, the pieces remaining from both kits gave me enough shelving and hardware to place a shelf above the entrance to our walk-in, plus 2 extra stringers and 1 shelf to outfit the back wall of our closet (I then matched the wood and built cabinet doors, drawers and 2 more shelves to give my wife a built-in jewelry drawer).
Pricing/Cost: For the price of the 2 kits (and the extra work/modifications I added) I saved literally thousands of dollars doing the job myself and we got exactly want we wanted in our closet!!
Delivery: I opted for standard delivery and the kits arrived well packaged and by UPS. Each kit weighed approx. 80Lbs. And surprisingly, delivery only took about 10 daysI purchased this system a few months back to upgrade our average "rubbermaid" type closet shelving. The kit is very simple to follow and even possible for a 1-man installation; although two would make it easier. The finish is top-notch and the flexibility of the install is very accommodating. I would suggest wherever possible attach the supports to pre-existing studs for strength and durability. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results and we are now purchasing our second kit to finish the remainder of the closet. I dabble in carpentry so I've added our own touches like a jewelry drawer for my wife, some elegant doors to conceal two of the shelves and even with the modifications, both kits are still well under the estimates we received from closet-specialist type companies. If u have the time, patience and a little experience with a hammer and saw this is definitely worth the price and I'm sure you'll be extremely happy with the results.

We live in a 30 year old manufactured home. (Trailer to most of you young folks). It is a large mobile and we have just the one large double reach in closet and little storage. We shopped the home improvement stores for closet organizers and were disappointed that all we found were laminated or metal wire organizers. We decided to go home and look at Amazon before we made a purchase. We were really surprised by the John Louis organizer. The price (at the time we purchased) beat any local home improvement store by at least 30%. I have Prime and the shipping was free. It arrived within 3 days. It was packaged safely and we assembled and installed it in one day. It is beautiful. We are planning a move in the next couple of years. I will look for this product again if the need arises.Read Best Reviews of John Louis Home Standard Closet System in Maple or Mahogany Here
The pieces for this set are pretty basic.3 long pieces (either 48" each or 60" each)
3 2' shelves
4 contoured support brackets
9 or so spacers for the hanging rods
4 6' trim pieces
Tons of hardware (screws, anchors, brackets, etc.)
You really need a good trim saw, or a table saw...I can't imagine cutting the shelves with a hand saw...
It took me a while to "lay out", and design my own little customized piece. I think that I started sawing a little too early, and didn't think to make the shelf on top long enough to be one of the "stacking shelves". But it all worked out in the end...Fortunately, there is plenty of "dummy room" with the brackets in that if you cut a shelf too short by an inch, the bracket will cover for you. I had a hard time with some of the screws and brackets that were to support the shelves. If you wiggled the shelf around trying to get it in to the right spot it "crunched" the wood...Once I got going though, it really came together quickly, and looks great as a final product...Wife is very happy with results...I have tons of hardware left as I used much longer screws to really drive it in to the studs for years of use...Do get some spackle though, because leftover damage from removed wire shelving left nice big holes.
Want John Louis Home Standard Closet System in Maple or Mahogany Discount?
First off, let me explain: we have been married 10 yrs (and lived together prior to that) and have put together MULTIPLE things over the years, I actually see myself as quite the expert on IKEA "building-sets"....But this closet system: OMG! We barely survived it! LOLWe bought 2 sets, originally for the master closet, but ended up using the first set in our toddlers room (second one still in the box as we need a break before doing another closet!) Finished product: AWESOME, but getting there? Not so much... If we had been 2 people working on it I assume we would have had it done in about 3 hours....but seeing we have 2 kids under age 3; this project took 1 1/2 person about 6 hrs and a LOT of not so nice words:-)
The most important tool in addition to a drill/screwdriver and saw is for sure a 3-foot LEVEL. We started with putting all shelves up first and secured it all at the end. The very last step we did was meassure the hanging-bars for clothes (even though it is part of step 1 according to the book) and install them. I am glad we ended up doing it this way.
Make sure you have a level, because when the shelves are to be attached to the cross bars, you need to make sure that each shelf is lined up just right, and this cannot be done perfectly without a level.
I would have given this product a 5, but because of the difficulty of assembling this (and figuring out how to even do it to start with) I only give it a 4. Is it awesome? YES!! Does it look sooooooo much better than any metal shelving out there: YES!! Is it worth saving $800 buying/doing it yourself vs having a professional closetdesigner do it? YES!!! Does our toddler have the nicest closet in our house now? YES!!
I will for sure recommend buying it, but make sure you set off AMPLE time, and have someone a little tool savvy to help out.

Metal FX Brushed Copper Contact Paper, 18" x 6'
Buy Metal FX Brushed Copper Contact Paper, 18" x 6' Now
Use it on a desk I created, Southwestern style. Copper contact in center writing area, deep teal or turquoise enameled border, with thunderbird cutouts of the copper in corners.
The copper contact is only metallic paper. So naturally it scratches. But it lasted, looking good, for
3, 4 years, surviving books and other stuff scraped along surface as the desk
is well used. I also polish it with furniture oil to renew shine (Avon skin-so-soft works great).
Now looking to buy again to renew the old stuff. Just love it. Oh also
use it to cover the top of a little old metal step stool in kitchen. Will be renewing that
too, but again for use and abuse, lasted a long time looking good.

I purchased the brushed copper contact paper to cover some old Tupperware canisters so they'd go better with my new kitchen cabinets and drawer pulls. It was easy to use, but I did discover that I needed to be very careful with anything sharp, as the paper was easily scratched. I have yet to use the canisters enough to evaluate how well this fix holds up, but so far, it's far less expensive than buying new canisters (if I could find them in copper!)Want Metal FX Brushed Copper Contact Paper, 18" x 6' Discount?
Easy to apply and the copper sheet looks fabulous. Some of our friends asked us about the rich looking back splash! We like it a lot.Wednesday, August 14, 2013
Foremost TSH10222-FMD Sheridan TV Stand, Walnut
Buy Foremost TSH10222-FMD Sheridan TV Stand, Walnut Now
We ordered this as a replacement for an open glass-shelf TV stand as a way to get cords managed and hidden from little fingers (and not to have sharp glass shelves either.) We also needed a stand that would accommodate a DVD player with a large footprint and it fits just perfectly into the open shelf (it is about 18" square); our cable box and a center speaker fit into the other shelf. Our TV is 42" and there is room enough on either side for side speakers and the wii is tucked behind one. We have put a lot of the speaker wires and other cables/wires into the drawers (which we are planning on putting child locks on) and it is so nice to have them tucked away! Overall I am quite pleased with it. I think it looks better in person than in the picture. A review on another website mentioned it not being sturdy and the reviewer had reinforced it with wood glue; we did not find that we needed to do this. It is plenty sturdy for us and the directions for assembly were easy to follow. We were also happy with the price, as it seems silly to spend a lot of money on technology housing when the technology changes so often (e.g. giant TV armoires of the 90s.) Is it the most solid, high quality stand you could buy? No. But, if you need a TV stand that is deep enough for an older (5 years old haha!) flat screen TV with a trapezoidal footprint and/or to house larger accessories and hide wires AND looks nice at a good price, this is your stand.Read Best Reviews of Foremost TSH10222-FMD Sheridan TV Stand, Walnut Here
Purchased this for my new 50" TV. Easy to out together, took about an hour, and looks really great. Does NOT look like a piece of furniture that cost less than $200. and had to be assembled! Fits in well with my mid-century modern furniture. Very happy I didn't go with something premade from a furniture store for 3 times the cost.Want Foremost TSH10222-FMD Sheridan TV Stand, Walnut Discount?
for the price, you can't beat this piece. The piece is solid and looks very nice, the only complaint I have is that it is pretty low to the ground and wish it was a bit taller. Other than that, it is a great buy.Gatco 1365 Premier Corner 3-Tier Glass Taboret, Chrome
