Island looks great, is easy to put together. We had it set up for 2 days and the first guests who sat down to eat, leaned their elbows on the table flap and it fell apart. Everything about the table we love, but the one piece that so obviously needs to be of sturdy construction is held up with tiny 1/4 inch wood screws, a flimsy hinge and poor design. Once somone puts the slightest amount of weight on the table flap the screws rip out of the wood and the hinges bend to a useless shape. We are so disappointed in this piece that I would not recommend it to anyone, unless you never plan to put the flap up and use it as a table.

If you have patience, I'm sure one person could manage the construction of this island w/ some effort. I would have likely needed help, considering I'm a 5' tall chick. ...My boyfriend, thankfully, is VERY handy, and he did it all himself after I dragged the boxes in from the front door. He had this bugger together in less than an hour, all on his own. --He usually hates when I order things online, but he could not stop commenting on how well constructed the pieces were (real wood), and how easy this was to put together.

Aside from the high price tag, I decided it was worth it, and have admired it more and more over time.

I'm uncertain what problems people may have had with assembly or construction with the 'leaf' falling down on them (I almost did NOT order this product due to those reviews), but I've had several young children, adults, construction workers, and my lazy-self all leaning up against the leaf, and it holds just fine...real wood and all. Just make sure you 'secure' the holders for it, and we've had no troubles at all.

Everyone comments that it looks like it was built especially for my kitchen, but I know I can take it with me if ever I move. The extra storage is WAY a god-send, and the quality of the wood and pieces are the best I've seen in stores OR in 'self-assembly' furniture.

Well I never give a 5 rating, so that being said...I thought my husband was either going to kill my sons who were helping him or have a heart attack from frustration. However, I don't think anything solid should beTHAT easy...now that its together, took a little over two hours but he's a perfectionist, it looks great, heavy, solid, long overdo in my kitchen. I had read a review that the bar stools suggested with it were too high at 29 in., but I ordered them and I'm 5'8 so I have long legs and am not tiny but there is more than enough room to sit right under the leaf with several inches of room. Very comfortable. We actually ordered 3 stools and though only two fit under the leaf, its still comfortable to place a stool on the ends for more seating. I was also concerned from the picture that the holes for the adjustable shelves would be an eyesore but I don't even notice them. Now I just have to decide how I'm going to use the extra storage. Highly recommend.

Great piece of furniture! We love it. Although the saddle stools that were recommended are too high for the breakfast bar. The 24' saddle stools would be a much better height.

This island came quickly after we ordered it via FedEx. The product was well package and not damaged during shipping. Initially the assembly was a challenge. Following the assembly instructions to assembly the back while it was lying flat did not work. You cannot lift the back for the next step of attaching it to the base. The solution was to begin the assembly with the back in the vertical mode and attach it to the base piece by piece. This works. Next the holes to attach the top to the body did not line up. I had to put in a different screw for one hole out of four. The screws attaching the leaf were smaller that those used on the other side of the hinge. I went and got a larger screw for this hinge. I used #6-1/2 screws to make a stronger joint. Also add a little oil to the hinges for smooth action.

Bought it for my son's bedroom. It is great now instead of taping or hanging his art on the wall we can display with the magnets. A bit smaller then I thought but it will hold his trophies and cars very well.

These shelves are NOT magnetic---they have a metal strip so if you have something magnetic it will stick to it. This is NOT what was advertised but I was too busy to return it within the "window" so I'm stuck with something that is not anything like what I wanted.

I received these shelves and was disappointed to find that they are not magnetic AT ALL. I bought them from Amazons Warehouse Deals so these might be a fluke and normally these shelves are magnetic, but the ones I have aren't even slightly magnetic. I do wish that the listing had mentioned this because being magnetic is the main reason I purchased them, but I do understand that with the amount of items being sold as returns/open boxes Amazon can't go into detail for every item.

Also, I have purchased quite a few items from Amazons Warehouse Deals and this is the only item that I have had an problem with normally their items are fantastic! Everything I have received from them (except these shelves) has been brand new/perfect condition so I would still recommend them as a seller.

Don't buy unless you're in college or you don't care for quality. Weird pieces of particle board were falling out the back of these, and once we put them up (as per instructions), I was afraid they would fall on my baby's head. Eek. No good. If you need a quick fix, maybe try them, but if you're looking for solid, quality shelves, pass these up.

I ended up returning this item because it was way to heavy for my wall. I live in an apartment and I didn't want to damage anything. I can imagine buying something to reinforce these shelves, because the idea is really cool, but it wasn't for me.

This product was exactly as advertised. It is sturdy and works very well and is perfect for the area I have available. The ironing board pad cover could have been better considering how much I paid for it (it is a dull, rough cotton). Fortunately, I sew and can make or adapt another one, but someone else should consider the problem with replacing it later because it is not a standard size ironing board. The only real complaint I have is the instructions paper (yes, I meant "paper") for putting it together. There is one sheet of poorly printed paper with difficult to read pictures and not one word printed on it. Now I have put a million pieces of furniture, etc. together and was able to muddle through, but I felt sorry for someone who has never done something like this before. So as I said I was satisfied with product and would recommend it.

Not near as sturdy as I had hoped for the high price. 3 of the bolt holes had to be tapped to use screws supplied. Ironing board seems to have a good pad and design concept is a good idea. Cart easily moves with wheel brakes set on tile floor.

This cart is very poor quality considering the price. It comes in a LOT of pieces that don't fit together well and, in some instances, the screws don't fit. I doubt it would last if we were planning to move it around much. Good idea poorly executed.

Everything as expected nice sturdy cabinet, BUT hate the color "antique white" turned out to be dirty white with streaks of what looks like dried glue. I have purchased bonding primer and white paint to use on this cabinet. The original finish makes it look cheap and tacky, not antique.

This cabinet is great for our household. It it very roomy and offers plenty of space saving. The instructions were very easy. It took a little while to assemble, but fairly simple. Plus it comes with a 5 year warranty!! We use ours as a hall closet type of cabinet since we don't have a hall closet. Great for blankets, towels, etc.

I was looking for a stand to mount my new 52" Sony LCD, and this item from Amazon looked sharp and had a good price.

A tip of my hat to the reviewer who assembled this in 1 hour it took me closer to 3, but admittedly I am no handyman.

It did take two people to mount the TV once the stand was mostly assembled, but I guess with some imagination a person could do it alone. I would not want to risk damaging my new $1500 TV.

Since I know my limitations, I took my time, read the directions carefully, with very few missteps. The extra hardware included would make it possible to mount virtually any kind of flat panel TV; LCD or plasma. I've seen it advertised for a mount for a 46" TV, but my 52" looks great, and this stand is heavy and solid enough to support a TV several inches larger.

The metal and fiberboard top is pained a shiny black, and the finish really does look like it could be on a piano. The glass shelves offer plenty of room and sturdiness for any components you might want to add, and the horizontal swivel is a big plus.

There are of a variety of mounting heights. The bottom of my TV is the minimum 24" off the floor, but it could have gone about a foot higher.

The price does fluctuate. I paid closer to 2 Bens than 3, and I would recommend watching it until it hits that price point, with free shipping.

The pruduct looks nice with nothing on the shelves, solidly supports the TV, and was not diffucult to put together. My problem with the product is the two glass shelves. Both deflect (sag) at the center of the shelf. This occures slightly under their own weight, but set a cable box on one and stereo reciever on another as I have, and this deflection is obvious and can be seen across the room. Each shelf is rated for 65 lb, I would guess that I have less than 10 lb on each and am experiencing this problem. It would be great with heavier duty shelves.

Mounted a Samsung 46 LCD on this stand, fits nice. The stand is great looking, well built and sturdy for the TV. It is a slim design, not cheaply made, for 279 dollars on Amazon it is a great deal. It perfectly augments the beautiful look of the Samsung.

I was going to purchase a Bello for around the same price but picked this Z-Line design because it looked far more sturdy for a 1500 dollar LCD TV, I'm happy I decided on this Z-Line stand.

The box is large, weighing in at 83 lbs and 53" wide. I wasn't at home when it was delivered and had to pick it from UPS in the evening. It barely fit into the back seat of the car, after some smart suggestions by the UPS lady who helped me load it into the car. Aside from being smart, she is strong and was more than willing to help me out. Kudos to UPS for having this kind of employee. Putting it together the first time is never easy and this was no exception. It must have taken somewhere between three to four hours to assemble it and have the HDTV mounted onto the rear of the stand. Now if one had the appropriate power tools than it could be done a lot faster, but using the enclosed allen wrench was anything but fast. I suppose it might be possible to do it without any help, but that is not advisable. Anyway, once assembled, it looks great and is highly functional. For Z-Line this seems to be the lowest priced stand that will hold up to a 50" HDTV actually will hold up to a 150 lb TV with the top shelf capable of supporting 65 lbs. My components (A/V receiver, 3 DVD players, and a HDTV DVD-R from the cable company) are not all that heavy and there is no bowing of the glass. I would suggest not putting any heavy component alone in the middle of any of the levels, except for the top shelf that is quite thick and rigid, compared to the two tempered glass shelves below it. My initial concern was whether or not I should have gone up to the next Z-Line mounting stand (and more expensive) that seems to be more heavy duty and slightly deeper, but that turns out to be unnecessary for me. These sorts of HDTV stands that amount to pseudo wall mounts give greater flexibility, allowing one to place a large center fill speaker immediately below the HDTV. I do not think that I would ever suggest anyone buy the other type stand in which the HDTV sits on the top of the shelving system. Looking at the pictures on Amazon, would seem to imply some type of flimsiness. That is anything but true and actually seeing it at Fry's I was more than convinced that it would support what it claims it will. Aside from having to put it together, my only other complaint would be all of the small pieces of styrofoam that have to be vacuumed up after the thing is assembled. Extremely well packaged. The last parts of the assembly instructions are a bit misleading, meaning that one has to think and realize that it can't be assembled the way that it is described. The actual mounting of the HDTV takes some thought as to how high to mount it, choose the appropriate mounting hardware (all enclosed in the box) and in my case have a center fill speaker directly below it and not touch the bottom of the HDTV. Still once assembled, it looks great and is highly functional with very clean lines. The stand does not call attention to itself and simply disappears. This sort of stand is ideal for those who want to get into a home theater system and not rely on whatever the package is within the HDTV.

I have owned a Z-Line TV stand in the past, so knew that Z-Line did a good job with design and construction. But this unit surpassed my previous Z-Line experience. It is superbly designed, the look is great and the glass shelves are study. I don't agree with the reviewer that complained about the glass shelves bowing. I also have a fairly heavy Kenwood Receiver and Wii on one glass shelf and it is doing fine. My only complaint were the 3"x3" labels on the glass shelves. They are NOT easy to remove and had to eventually purchase some Goop Off to remove them. The Piano finish on the black top shelf is exactly that, deep and luxurious looking. The packaging was tight, and I found zero defects in any of the finishes. As for the TV, I have a heavy 50" Panasonic Plasma TV attached, and everything is secure. I highly recommend this Z-Line TV Stand.

My problem is thisI thought I was getting a good deal and after they were already assembled I saw the same thing at BJs for half the price! I was so disappointed. These shelves look cool and clean on my living room wall. They are solid wood and look great. The edges did have a few extremely small dings, but nothing shows. They were somewhat difficult to install, but we made it work. All in all a great looking product.

I expected this to be junk because of being half the price of comparable bull float tilting brackets. I am pleased to be wrong. Works great, handles the weight of a 60 inch bull float and show no sign of wear after 3 jobs.

This is a nice changing table. Mostly wood, the shelves are made of thin MDF laminate (supported by bars you attach under the shelf) that are quite a bit lighter than the stain color and the product photo (which is why I give it only 4 stars), but these shelves will be piled with diapers and such, so I'm not worried about the color difference. The changing tables I almost bought at Babies "R" Us and Target had the same type of shelves with center support bars, but the shelves were white (which I think is worse).

The wood stain color is what I would consider true maple-oak (not too yellow) and it's varnished with clear shiny lacquer. The changing pad is thin, but adequate. I'll have to make a cover for it, since all you can find are contoured changing pad covers. Nice large size and it will fit baby for a few years. Good price for primarily real wood, in this traditional jenny lind style, which is difficult to find. I found no problems putting this together myself at 30 weeks pregnant in about 30 minutes, with my husband tightening the screws down for me. :) This table sets level and is very stable on our wood laminate flooring.

I bought this three years ago for my new granddaugher. She has used it right up to potty training and it has stood the test of time. Great product.

This changer looks nice assembled, however I was weary of it while putting it together. The shelves are made of a light weight particle board (bends easily)-scary idea of putting your new baby upon it. But once my husband tightened the screws and applied the support bars underneath...it was sturdy. I guess I was expecting more, but for the price you get what you get.

Welland 18 Inch x 8 Inch x 1.25 Inch Oliver Wall Shelf Display Floating Shelves Espresso

The shelf itself is fiberboard, but the outside surface is nice and the color was what I expected from the images online. For the price, the shelf is sufficient. However, the bracket/hanging system is horrid and the instructions are not much better.

The instructions mentioned a 9/32 drill for the holes in the wall. However, the anchors provided were much bigger. I needed a 3/8 drill to make the appropriate holes. The anchors were sturdy enough. I marked out the hole locations after leveling the anchor, then drilled and installed the anchors. One quibble is that some of the holes on the anchors are too close to the protruding hangars, making it too tight a fit to use a drill with a screwdriver bit. I had to do those by hand. The screws were also brass, so it is very easy to strip the heads if you are not careful.

I checked the anchors for level, then put the shelf on. There is FAR too much clearance between the shelf and the anchors, so the shelf wobbles all over the place and does not end up level when you put something on it. I had thought that the two screws through the bottom would stabilize the shelf, but all they do is prevent the shelf from being pulled off the wall.

According to the instructions, the shelf is also designed to tilt back towards the wall slightly to prevent a heavy object from sliding off. I didn't intend to challenge the load limit for this shelf, so now it looks like I have shelves that tilt back as well as to the side.

I'm not sure what to do. Since I don't want to risk ripping up the wall to try another brand, I'm kind of stuck. I might make some sleeves from some wooden dowels and see if that provides the necessary stability (and maintains the levelness that I spent the time getting when I hung the brackets in the first place).

If you haven't purchased these yet, don't.

It was exactly what we needed. A shelf that looked clean and sleek. Putting it up was fairly simple. After hanging the shelf it still seemed loose. I tightened it as best I could bt it was still loose on the brackets. It made it seem unlevel when things are put on it. It is not a noiticable centerpiece so it will work fine for now.

I had a hard time finding a small floating shelf (18")and this one fit the bill. Quality is ok, one shelf seems slightly twisted but not really noticeable once they were up and loaded. I have 2 and they look good in a tight space.

I was a little leery about ordering this bookcase as the other review said it was wobbly. But it exactly fit in the small area I needed 25 inches, so I ordered it anyway. Also, it was on sale on the Friday specials, so the price was very reasonable. I am so glad I purchased this item as it is fantastic! Very well built, does not wobble at all, the finish on it is beautiful with no flaws a nice espresso dark color. I even bought the two baskets that fit on the bottom shelf, and it makes for a beautiful bookshelf unit. Don't hesitate to purchase it if you are looking for a small bookcase for a small area. You will be very happy with how well built this book case is.

Nice bookshelf, assembly is a bit tedious but can get done. A piece of the wood came off one shelf but I glued it back on. It looks nice in my study and holds a nice amount of books plus has room on top for a few pictures, etc. Nice buy.

I can't say enough about this shelf. It's really attractive. I have a tiny bathroom, but i needed a little bit of space to put things on. This shelf matches the satin nickel fixtures and light plates and knobs, etc. It really brings a modern look to the bathroom.

It comes with a template that you hang on your wall and it shows you exactly where to drill your holes. That makes hanging the shelf very simple.

I got this particular shelf, because of the rail. I wanted to make sure nothing was falling off of the shelf. The rail is very useful and attractive, too.

This is great quality and very well made. It was very easy to install. The only comment I have is that when I held the entire assembled unit on my hands, I thought that it was too heavy for the anchors you receive if installing on drywall. I used some heavy duty anchors I had in hand instead.

I bought two of these. One came with a stencil in the directions for drilling the holes and the other didn't. Weird. Once I remembered the reviews on here and told my boyfriend that he had to ignore the instructions they went up without a hitch. If you rely on the directions instead of good, old-fashioned common sense, these things will drive you bonkers.

I spray painted the chrome with a clear rust proof lacquer and put them in my shower. They won't get wet directly, but the moisture and steam could still rust them, so hopefully this will work. So far, they are holding shampoo bottles just fine and they are not loose.

They are good shelves, but I had to take off a star for the directions. Seriously, it would have been better if they showed up without directions, they were that bad.
