I love these racks, they are great for DVD's and CD's and they don't require a lot of space. I put them under a counter and also put 4 side by side on a wall. they also look great and I have had lots of compliments on them.

So we ordered one for the office. It was never delivered and the status was the UPS had returned it to the shipper because it was damaged in transit. I called amazon, they sent out a replacement but almost a week later, there was no shipping information, so I called Amazon and they were unsure of where it was, so they sent another which arrived damaged.

I did the best i could rebending all the metal pieces and we pried it together, dents in the doors and all.

That aside, had it been delivered in perfect shape, it would still only get 2 stars. There are visible round dents on the outside of the door, that appears to be caused from manufacturing. It was also really tough to put together, and for a heavy metal cabinet it manages to feel flimsy.

This unit arrived in very poor shape. The panels were all dented and dinged and had to bend everything back in place just to fit it together. Not very secure once assembled either. The lock is flimsy and you could easily pry open the door with just your bare hands.

I have never received anything from Amazon as bad as this cabinet! The box it came in was beat up so I don't know why I expected anything better on the inside. This item consists on many pieces that must be bolted together. Every piece I took out of the box was bent in some way. In the middle of the box the doors had dents in them. There is no way the dents could have been caused by shipping in the middle of the box...they were dented before they were packed!

Don't buy this! You will be disappointed and will end up sending it back.

I've 2 units and don't seem to have the problem with the adjustable shelves. They stay in place. In one shower, each shelf is carrying 2 big bottles of shampoo and conditioner (Wife and I use different brands). They have pump dispensers, which means more pressure on the shelf when used. Yet the shelves stay in place. The aluminiuimn looks great and the adjustable rubber feet on the base are a nice touch.

I'm not sure why the other review is so low. We recently got this to replace an old hang-over-the-shower-head caddy that I've had for over 10 years. The plastic coating was eaten away and it was rusting at spots. We were originally looking at Tension Shower Caddy as an option since the reviews were so good. However, the price was rather high. We stopped by Bed, Bath, and Beyond and saw this caddy, which is made exactly like the tension caddy: same baskets, same adjustment mechanisms. It just has one less basket and no rods that stick out for hanging stuff. That is the one thing for improvement on this one: add the hanging rods (then it would be 5 stars). My razor is fine in the hanger, but my loofa kind of touches the wall of the shower with this caddy.

This is a very stable design and it is nice looking. I can fit 3 large Costco-sized bottles (~40 oz each) on one shelf.

After sharing one bathroom with our 6 kids, we have finally added an ensuite to our bedroom. We did not particularly want to drill holes into our nice new tiled shower walls for a shelf so I started looking around for a free standing caddy. There are plenty around but none seemed that sturdy or durable or even nice looking until I found this one on Amazon. It is exactly as described and is very sturdy. I have had no problems with the adjustable shelves and love the fact that I can move it out of the shower to clean both it and the shower. Lots of friends have asked where I bought it and have had to tell them overseas! (we live in New Zealand). I have just purchased another one for the main bathroom which is also getting renovated.

This item cannot hold a large bottle of shampoo. The adjustable shelves rely on a cheap plastic tension clip to hold them in place. If you put anything that weighs a couple pounds on it, the shelf will just slide to the bottom of the pole. Might as well just pile your shower stuff on the floor and save the $60 bucks.

I bought 3 other shower caddies that I returned before I got this one. I hate the ones that hang on the shower head and slip off if you knock it. This one sits on the built in bench and holds all our bottles, shave stuff and soaps. Have had it 6 months and no rust yet.

This ended up looking good, but:

-Instructions without words are the great equalizer: difficult to use no matter what language you speak; these were also marred by out-of-scale drawings, and not enough detail, as is the case with the drawer glides, which have many holes that can be used, and no clear picture of which ones should be used.

-it's a pain dealing with the foam bits all over everything (including myself, my house); can't flat-packers come up with some way of helping with this?

-some edges of some things were slightly damaged, and as mine was black, this really was obvious (will Sharpie them)

-the drawer bottoms are cardboard/fiber board, and were held together by many strips of masking tape, each of which pulled off some of the white coating of the board itself, so I had to pick the best side to face up in the drawer.

-the cams of the cam lock system didn't always work, because the bolt part didn't go in straight; was finally able to get these to work

-in many cases, the particle board pieces did not fully hang on to the screws used (as with the glides on the bottom of the drawer; would recommend using a manual screwdriver for the smaller bits (and I was using an electric screwdriver with the torque setting set down low)

On the plus side:

-metal drawer glides: work well, and should last much longer than plastic ones found in less expensive furniture

-nice design: the cutout drawer handles are a great idea, and work well

-solid and stable when assembled (I did not use the included casters)

I read the previous review so I was not disappointed. I have to be gentle with the drawers so that they do not fall apart with too much use (the face coming off) I was very careful not to over-turn but the bolt does still rotate over time and the drawer will come apart (hence I keep a screw driver in the top drawer) Also, putting on the back last didn't really work for me. I had to take it apart and put the back on before screwing on the top. It really helps to have two people for that task.

It looks quite nice and the drawers operate very smoothly. It is however, made of very cheap construction materials. The instructions warn not to overtighten, but that's a relative term. The particle board used for the drawer is so cheap and soft that even when I barely exerted any force on the locking nut, it still broke the board. I stripped several screws even when I was applying gentle torque and in once case a locking nut broke so I had to glue the drawer face in place. The material crumbles if you apply more that a very light torque to any screw or locking nut so be very gentle when assembling. It was exactly what I was lookig for functionally, but for the price, I would have expected better quality.

This tie rack is great its sturdy, easy to install (although the dimensions for the mounting holes in the instructions are wrong), the pegs are smooth at the ends so as not to snag any fabric. The slide mechanism seems to be good quality. It took two weeks to receive it from Ovis, but no complaints.

The product arrived it a beaten up box. One of the shelves was warped and bent beyond repair. We didn't even receive the correct legs for the shelves. (6 female fittings and 2 male fittings). The plastic supports for the shelves were scattered throughout the box and not even in a bag. (Some where broken and attached to the legs. It appears that someone tried to previously put the shelves together and just threw everything back into the box. We ordered a NEW set of shelves and ended up with an un-useable set of broken used shelves. Not good at all !!!

I purchased this to store all of my medical books, canning jars and other stuff I have stored in my upstairs loft instead of storing in storage tubs or boxes. Snap to assemble! Very sturdy and you can adjust the shelf height to meet your needs! Very glad I purchased it, I also have one like it on rolling wheels that I use in my classroom for CPR manikins and it is as sturdy as they come! Worth the money!

Finished product looks very "rich". Comes very compact--not "bad" to assemble but can be a little tricky. Doesn't take long to assemble...I was pleased initially. It's been over a year now and I find that the shelves don't stand up to any load--I used for DVDs--shelves bowed and front posts tend to come apart. Can't wait to replace now. Ammended review--doesn't stand the test of time and way overpriced! Would NOT recommend this item.

Don't waste your time or money. First problem, they call black walnut. Of course, they could have just sent the wrong color to me, but I couldn't determine that as nothing was labeled to indicate if this was walnut or black. Second problem, it's made of very cheap pressed wood that cracks and chips easily. The construction was flimsy and every shortcut they could have taken in the making of this product was done. Wood dowels instead of screws are used in as many places as possible to hold this unit together. If you want to move it without it breaking and falling apart on you, you better have sliders. The back panels consist of six pieces that have to be placed into grooves and are held together with a mere three screws. The only reason to have so many panels that makes any logical sense is that all the pieces have to fit inside a certain size box for shipping, never mind the inconvenience to you the customer. After a wasted aggravating afternoon, we realized that this product was not going to suit our needs at all and we hated it. I had to pay someone to haul it away I couldn't even give it away for free!!!

I've owned this item for over two years. When I first put it together it looked nice and the storage area was great. I slowly filled the unit over several weeks as I unpacked after moving. As the the shelves became full they sagged severely under the lightest load. Even with the shelf 3/4 filled with single CDs in cases they bent. I've now taken to using CDs and DVDs to prop the shelves from top to bottom. The picture shown as an example of the shelves is deceiving as they appear much thicker and capable of bearing the weight of the media than they are in reality.

Item can early and was easy to assemble ( I did it by myself). I'm extremelly happy with the shelf it looks great in my dining nook with, being used as more of a plant holder and seems sturdy so far! Would def reccomend !

I bought four of these and put them together myself. The wood is not very heavy, like it's hollow or made of a very dry pine or something. But, because it's thin and not heavy I could put it together myself even though the directions recommend two people assemble it. The package comes with wall fasteners, which I did not need and an extra leg for the bottom shelf. Very easy to assemble and can be a bit rickety. But, once in place they stay put.

Things you will need: screwdriver, a sense of geometry! and carpeted floor. Even the directions recommend a carpeted floor. The directions are horribly written and illustrated, btw.

Note: the longer piece on the side of the shelf is actually two pieces and you can see a seam in the middle.

These shelves are made in China and have the feel of mass production. You may see a flaw in a rough edge or seam not completely flushed when put together, or a dibit in a corner that you would only notice because you assembled it yourself. However, overall, they're very nice looking shelves!

This is a steady shelf. I used it in my bathroom for towels and toileties, so I can't comment on if it would give any troubles had I use it to hold books and other heavy-like objects. It is a pressed wood, but it is of a great quality. It was also relatively easy to assemble--one person will do the job. I was worry when I saw the photo if this would be wobbly like any other pressed board furniture from Walmart or KMart, but to my surprise, this turns out nicely and I was presently surprised. Amazing for the $50-ish price and thank you to Amazin Prime for free 2 day shipping! This would be sold for at least $100-$150 at Walmart for a much cheaper quality. Would be about $200 at target on sale.

Great buy and im thinking about getting an additional one when I have the money. Highly recommended.

I put the shelf together quickly even with having to redo the bottom part when I realized it wouldn't match up correctly with the top part. Make certain they will go together the right way before you put the screws in! I placed my graduated-sized treasure chests on each shelf and it looks spectacular! I couldn't have found a better way to display them. My husband likes how it looks, too. Oh, I did have my husband look for a different screw when one of them just wouldn't fit right. This company should send a few extra pieces of hardware, just in case.

Wine Cabinet with Drawer and Glass Rack

I bought this for a friend of mine and I might buy one for myself in the near future. Solid piece of furniture which looks like it will withstand some abuse. Assembly was fairly straightforward but I did have some issues with it (pieces not fitting together exactly and I had to contact the manufacturer because I had a duplicate piece). Great customer service from Winsome. All in all, I cannot explain how much nicer the wine cabinet is in person compared to the pictures.

Bought one for myself. Outstanding quality for the price

I spent about 3 months trying to find the right wine rack for what I wanted. This rack encompassed everything I wanted. A drawer, more than 12 slots for wine, more than 12 slots for glasses. I was leery about buying this thought because it was about $200 cheaper than similar models. I was very impressed when I got it. The main parts are surprisingly heavy duty. It was very easy to put together. The color and look are beautiful and look like I spent a lot more money. I have gotten a lot of compliments. My only complaint is the drawer does not have stoppers on it so just be careful pulling it out because you might pull the entire drawer out.

Received the cabinet yesterday. Dropped everything and put it together. Had to repair small piece damaged in shipping, but it turned out nice. I had read the reviews on this cabinet so I added some glue to the pins during construction. After sitting all night the cabinet sits firmly and looks great. We just purchased our third of these (there are over 350 books in our home). Every time we have ordered one, it has come well packed in layers of Styrofoam and has been simple to put together. The shelves are quite sturdy, each of our three holds at least 100 books of varying sizes.

The only problem with these shelves is that they leave marks on the wall if you have to move/straighten them. This usually only happens when first putting up the shelves and initially positioning them, as they stay in place quite well when set up and full of books.

Also, Amazon tends to put these shelves on sale every so often, so you can usually pick one up for under $65 with shipping included, if you wait for the right time.

I wanted a leaning bookshelf, and did a little research on various ones. I chose this one, over the cheapest one on Amazon (I think around $45) because a couple of reviewers said that it was sturdy enough to hold a lot of books, and that is what I wanted to use it for. Overall, I am happy with it. I just have a few comments about the piece, itself for people who are a little hesitant to buy furniture online.

It is easy to put together. It comes in 9 pieces (5 shelves, 2 sides, and a top and bottom). The painted finish seems a little thin on the parts of the shelf you wouldn't see (ie the bottom). The directions have an inventory and assembly section. In the inventory section they clearly show that the top and bottom of he sides are different (top is straight and bottom is angled), but in the assembly directions they look the same. The result is it took me a few minutes to figure out which end I was actually supposed to start on. The shelves are screwed in very securely. It is not just a screw into wood, but there is a metal reinforcement around the hole. BUT the bottom and tops are loose. I ended up putting a few dabs of wood glue on them (which means I can't disassemble this), and letting it cure overnight. It is almost like the holes are too large in the top and bottom or the wood dowels are too short. The upper shelf cannot really hold books, because it is so shallow. You could put paperbacks on it, but they would hang over a little. The bottom shelf is the opposite. It is so deep. I had to rummage through my books to find a couple that I could put on the ends that would not fall out of the sides onto the wall or floor.

I have a lot of books, that vary in size and weight, and the shelf handled all of them beautifully. A good alternative to a more expensive version of this shelf. And a smarter design than the cheapest version. The edging around each shelf keeps your books on the shelf, and prevents your wall from getting scratched up each time you add or remove a book.

I also had no problems with scratching the wall when I placed it (one reviewer claimed this). Also, the sides are each one long piece of wood not broken in two (another review claimed this).

I purchased this shelf from AtHomeMart, and am extremely happy with the product. It arrived well packaged (almost over kill on the Styrofoam if you ask me...) and went together amazingly easy. I put it together by myself in maybe twenty minutes, I didn't even need to look at the instructions!

There are only two things I can say that are the least bit negative about this product... One, I'm very sad it didn't come in an espresso finish, none of my other furniture is black. And two, I was not aware that the height of the shelf would be in two pieces. This is really not noticeable, it just was not what I was expecting. I was expecting the side pieces to be one solid long piece, but they are actually two smaller pieces you set together. Once together, they are very secure and the seam isn't terribly noticeable.

All in all, I think this is a wonderful shelf. It looks great in my living room, is very sturdy, and (I feel) very well constructed. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for the price.

These shelves are lovely, spacious, and easy to assemble, even with only one person. The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is a design/cost-cutting issue. Each shelf is held to each side post by a long screw, which does most of the fastening, and two dowels which run between the posts and the shelves on either side of the screw, for stability and weight bearing. The dowels are flimsy pressboard -I broke two of them during the assembly process, just moving the shelving to attach the other side. Would it really have been too expensive or difficult to make them of the same beautiful wood that the shelving is made of, or better yet, metal? There isn't even a measurement given on the instructions to let me know what size dowel they are, so that I can procure metal ones to replace them. Other than this issue, I'm very happy with the look of the shelves, and I'm sure my books are similarly happy to be freed of their moving boxes.

This is a nice shelf for the price. Crate and Barrel charges an arm and a leg for similar shelving, so this is a decent alternative. At Home Mart's customer service is also very good -when my shelf arrived broken they took care of it immediately, shipping out replacement pieces at no cost to me.
