Triton Products 3-235Y LocBin Stacking, Hanging, Interlocking Polypropylene Bins 10-7/8-Inch L by 1

Triton Products 3-235Y LocBin Stacking, Hanging, Interlocking Polypropylene Bins 10-7/8-Inch L by 11-Inch W by 5-Inch H Yellow 6 CTI'm able to store several heavy metal tools and cans of liquid product (on top bin so no space restriction) without any indication of the plastic buckling. I am quite happy with the quality of the plastic.

But, I think people should know, the measurements currently listed (10 7/8, 11, 5) reflect outside product measurements, not the actual storage space. For the space where you can actually place your items, I would say the flat interior space is about 9.5" (width) x 9" (length). The box front tapers out so it can hold items in the bin slightly longer toward the top, but it will not be laying on a flat surface the whole way towards the top, the length of usable storage space is ~10.5". Once the bins are stacked, usable height is around 4.5" but the openings between bins doesn't really allow for anything higher than 3" to pass anyhow.

I wouldn't recommend placing a lot of very small items in your bins because of the small opening. Trying to jam you hand/arm in to shuffle things around to get to small items that have been buried under other small items is something I found uncomfortable and irritating. It's much easier to store larger items that can be laid out in one or two layers at most and easier to reach without sticking your arm in very far.

Love this organizer! The plastic is very thick and durable which I love, its not cheap and thin. This allows it also to hold heavier items, for example if you wanted it in your tool shed for bolts and such. It provides a lot of space. I didn't hang it, but it comes with fixtures for this which appear very durable. If you need to organize your office, this is a must have. Love it!

These stackable bins looked perfect for storing small to medium size toys for our grandchildren, and they are! At first I thought the price seemed a little high, but after receiving them I can see that the plastic the bins are made of is very thick and will be extremely durable.

We've bought stacking bins like these in the past but were frustrated because the legs broke very easily. This won't happen with these because they're built in such a way that they slide together which adds to their stability. As a result, you can set them on a table, on the floor, or even use the screws and strip they provided and mount them on the wall. The set did not come with instructions, so it will take a few minutes to figure out how you'll want to stack them.

First, let me say one thing. These bins arrived nestled tightly together in their shipping box, and I had a bingo of a time separating them. The trick is to pull on the plastic side of a bin and it will flex without breaking, thus allowing you to remove the nested bin. Pull diagonally up & out. It's not easy but it works, trust me.

This false start didn't color my evaluation because in all honesty, the "Storability stacking, hanging interlocking plastic bins" were disappointing in their own right. Maybe it's just me, but I assumed based on the product photos that these might *slide* like drawers. They don't. So while the company's claim that the bins stay locked together is certainly accurate, I am less convinced of the usefulness of the stacked bins in practice. After all, unless you are planning to fill an entire bin with the same item (for example, a bulk load of the same size screw, or Cheerios, perhaps), you are forced to snake your hand in there and fish around, sight unseen, for what you want. In other words, there is not a lot of visibility to see what is in any of the drawers other than the top one, nor is there much space to reach in your hand to any of the drawers (again, other than the top drawer), much less pull it out with your prize. This presents a real problem for men with large hands or for anyone who uses these bins to store even moderately sharp objects, like gardening tools as the manufacturer suggests.

My own solution has been to use these bins independently: one bin on my workbench to catch loose nuts and bolts, another bin on the shelving unit nearby to hold packs of batteries, and so on. I may use the remaining bins in pairs of two, if I can justify filling the bottom ones with enough of the same content. Failing that, I might put another one in the laundry room and a couple in the garage. At the very least, these should be good catch-alls for small, somewhat thematically-grouped items. This has the added benefit of being able to store more tall items (like cans of spray paint). I understand that my planned usage defeats the advertised purpose, but honestly, I don't think the manufacturer asked enough potential customers to try these. This is a Vine review, and I *am* trying it now in all fairness, but at this point the product is already on the market.

The bins are very easy to slide and lock together, but decidedly less easy to separate. I would certainly not wish to attempt to do so with full bins whose contents may spill out. The manufacturer touts the stability of the bins: "They will not fall apart and collapse when placing items into the bins or removing items from the bins." This begs the question: How violent and clumsy are some people when placing items into or removing items from bins?

I am reviewing the Large size, and each bin offers just under 10 inches by 10 inches square of usable storage space. There is 4-3/4 inches of height, but that measurement is deceiving, because each opening when stacked is actually less than three inches. That means any large item would need to be creatively turned in hand to remove.

Good color, at least for garage workshops and laundry rooms. Good strength; the advertised hanging load capacity is 35 pounds per bin. Made in China. There are some plastic burrs from the manufacturing process which are somewhat sharp but easily sanded away.

I have not attempted to hang these bins, although a pack of wall mounting hardware was included. I think I might be more inclined to purchase some separate BinClips for mounting on a pegboard.

Triton graciously sent me a pack of dividers. (Somewhat surprisingly, dividers are not normally supplied with the bins.) While the dividers can be placed in any of three configurations, they are not nearly as locked into place as the bins themselves. Assuming you use these bins as intended (i.e., stacked), the dividers will be held in place adequately. However I might suggest not using a divider in the top bin because it can be easily dislodged. In any case my preferred configuration is either one divider in the middle guides or two dividers on the far outer guides, although the latter configuration would obviously deplete your supply much quicker. (The dividers come in packs of six.)

Each bin is fronted by a 4" x 1-3/4" area for labeling, however no card stock was provided for this purpose. Nor were any assembly instructions of any kind included. I would hope that this is not the case for a non-Vine supplied order.

In summary, this is a new product for which I believe the manufacturer is experiencing some teething problems. No instructions, no labels, no dividers included, and questionable efficiency for the stated use. When the bins are stacked, it is difficult to see, much less remove, the contents. Even the name of the product has an identity crisis; it would seem the manufacturer is still on the fence about branding. The accompanying parts list clearly identifies these as LocBins, as does Triton's own Web site. However the parts themselves self-identify only as "Storability (TM) By Triton Products"; nor does the Amazon listing mention the LocBin name at all. Even the "From the Manufacturer" Product Descriptions for the dividers and wall mount referenced above are switched!

Want Triton Products 3-235Y LocBin Stacking, Hanging, Interlocking Polypropylene Bins 10-7/8-Inch L by 1 Discount?

My husband has a massive amount of "little stuff" that he uses on our multitude of home renovation products such as screws, nuts and bolts, wires, etc. While he tries to keep these things organized, it can be a little difficult.

So I thought these Triton Products 3-235Y LocBin Stacking, Hanging, Interlocking Polypropylene Bins would be perfect.

I wasn't wrong.

10-7/8-Inch (L) x 11-Inch (W) x 5-Inch (H) are the perfect size for keeping those "extras" organized and, being stackable, you can do it in a relatively small space.

These are not cheap, flimsy bins found at big box retailers but quality, thick plastic perfect for the garage or other storage areas.

If they make my husband happy and keep "little pieces" out of my drawers, counter tops, or floors, then it definitely gets five stars from me!

Shoe Rack 4- Tier Rack Size:26W x 11D x 28H. (WHITE)

Shoe Rack 4- Tier Rack Size:26W x 11D x 28H.Was a little tall to put in my closet, but it works great in my room! Very nice and sturdy. Holds a lot of shoes! Would like to have a few more, since all my shoes don't fit on it. lol But seriously, I think that this was a super buy and would buy more.

This product is difficult to put together. The instructions are easy... but it doesn't fit together well. You need to bend some of the metal to get it to snap together. I am afraid if I touch it in the wrong place.... it will spring apart like a jack-in-the-box. It'd be nice if it were a little more precisely made. But, as it is made now, I would not recommend. I bought a rolling canvas shoe rack also, and it is a lot nicer.

Compared to similar products this is a great deal. It took a couple minutes to assemble. I then put it in my closet & loaded it. Voila! It's not something you would move regularly. But if placed in a closet it works amazingly well and the price is great.

Works well enough, but it doesn't stay together very well. I ended up wrapping twine around each of the joints to keep them from popping loose. Not really a big deal.

TRINITY 5-tier NSF 48x18x72" Indoor/Outdoor Wire Storage Shelving Rack

TRINITY 5-tier NSF 48x18x72' Indoor/Outdoor Wire Storage Shelving RackLove, love, love these shelves. They are extremely easy to assemble and so versitle with the rolling legs. Have 3 of them up and ready to go in my basement right now!! High recommendation!!

This wire shelf is great because it is modular, sturdy, and easy to assemble. What I like about this shelf is that each of the four posts comes in 2 pieces that screw together in the center to form a solid connection. This allows you to either construct one great big tall shelf or two half sized shelves with the option of attaching another shelf layer in between. This is highly useful if your storage needs ever change. Once assembled, the wire shelf is sturdy and easy to move with the included castor wheels; these roll smoothly on ball bearings and also lock into place. The fit and finish seems good and welded connection points of this brand of wire shelf seem better than other brands of wire shelves that I own.

The only issue I have is that assembly of the shelf relies on plastic conical wedges that use small nibs and grooves to secure the shelves in place. For one, they are plastic so I don't know how well they will fare outdoors in the sun. Two, occasionally you may damage or flatten the plastic nib on the wedge and render the piece useless; replacements can be easily had, though. Lastly, because the shelf construction relies on downward pressure to secure a shelf to the posts, one cannot pick up and move the unit by lifting at the shelf itself, but rather must grasp at the posts to lift. These however are only minor annoyances that do not seriously affect my satisfaction with this product.

4.5/5 I like it a lot.

This shelving is sturdy and large enough to provide really useful storage space. It arrived at my house within 3 days and was very simple to put together and customize to fit the containers that I had. The price is very reasonable for such a good product.

Z-Link ZL54144MU TV Stand for 44-Inch TV, Madrid Glass

Z-Link ZL54144MU TV Stand for 44-Inch TV, Madrid Glass
  • Sleek media stand with mount for 50-inch flat-screen TV and 3 storage shelves
  • Sturdy metal and fiberboard construction with piano black finish; shelves in 5mm clear tempered safety glass
  • Assorted screen height options; swivel mount for adjusting screen angle to best view
  • Equipped with universal hardware mounting kit; TV weight capacity of 150 pounds
  • 44 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 50 inches high; assembly required; limited lifetime warranty
  • 3-Televsion display options to choose from
  • Accommodates most LCD/Plasma TVs up to 60-inch
  • TV weight capacity: 150-pound

I was looking for a stand to mount my new 52" Sony LCD, and this item from Amazon looked sharp and had a good price.

A tip of my hat to the reviewer who assembled this in 1 hour it took me closer to 3, but admittedly I am no handyman.

It did take two people to mount the TV once the stand was mostly assembled, but I guess with some imagination a person could do it alone. I would not want to risk damaging my new $1500 TV.

Since I know my limitations, I took my time, read the directions carefully, with very few missteps. The extra hardware included would make it possible to mount virtually any kind of flat panel TV; LCD or plasma. I've seen it advertised for a mount for a 46" TV, but my 52" looks great, and this stand is heavy and solid enough to support a TV several inches larger.

The metal and fiberboard top is pained a shiny black, and the finish really does look like it could be on a piano. The glass shelves offer plenty of room and sturdiness for any components you might want to add, and the horizontal swivel is a big plus.

There are of a variety of mounting heights. The bottom of my TV is the minimum 24" off the floor, but it could have gone about a foot higher.

The price does fluctuate. I paid closer to 2 Bens than 3, and I would recommend watching it until it hits that price point, with free shipping.

This item is made in China.

The pruduct looks nice with nothing on the shelves, solidly supports the TV, and was not diffucult to put together. My problem with the product is the two glass shelves. Both deflect (sag) at the center of the shelf. This occures slightly under their own weight, but set a cable box on one and stereo reciever on another as I have, and this deflection is obvious and can be seen across the room. Each shelf is rated for 65 lb, I would guess that I have less than 10 lb on each and am experiencing this problem. It would be great with heavier duty shelves.

Mounted a Samsung 46 LCD on this stand, fits nice. The stand is great looking, well built and sturdy for the TV. It is a slim design, not cheaply made, for 279 dollars on Amazon it is a great deal. It perfectly augments the beautiful look of the Samsung.

I was going to purchase a Bello for around the same price but picked this Z-Line design because it looked far more sturdy for a 1500 dollar LCD TV, I'm happy I decided on this Z-Line stand.

The box is large, weighing in at 83 lbs and 53" wide. I wasn't at home when it was delivered and had to pick it from UPS in the evening. It barely fit into the back seat of the car, after some smart suggestions by the UPS lady who helped me load it into the car. Aside from being smart, she is strong and was more than willing to help me out. Kudos to UPS for having this kind of employee. Putting it together the first time is never easy and this was no exception. It must have taken somewhere between three to four hours to assemble it and have the HDTV mounted onto the rear of the stand. Now if one had the appropriate power tools than it could be done a lot faster, but using the enclosed allen wrench was anything but fast. I suppose it might be possible to do it without any help, but that is not advisable. Anyway, once assembled, it looks great and is highly functional. For Z-Line this seems to be the lowest priced stand that will hold up to a 50" HDTV actually will hold up to a 150 lb TV with the top shelf capable of supporting 65 lbs. My components (A/V receiver, 3 DVD players, and a HDTV DVD-R from the cable company) are not all that heavy and there is no bowing of the glass. I would suggest not putting any heavy component alone in the middle of any of the levels, except for the top shelf that is quite thick and rigid, compared to the two tempered glass shelves below it. My initial concern was whether or not I should have gone up to the next Z-Line mounting stand (and more expensive) that seems to be more heavy duty and slightly deeper, but that turns out to be unnecessary for me. These sorts of HDTV stands that amount to pseudo wall mounts give greater flexibility, allowing one to place a large center fill speaker immediately below the HDTV. I do not think that I would ever suggest anyone buy the other type stand in which the HDTV sits on the top of the shelving system. Looking at the pictures on Amazon, would seem to imply some type of flimsiness. That is anything but true and actually seeing it at Fry's I was more than convinced that it would support what it claims it will. Aside from having to put it together, my only other complaint would be all of the small pieces of styrofoam that have to be vacuumed up after the thing is assembled. Extremely well packaged. The last parts of the assembly instructions are a bit misleading, meaning that one has to think and realize that it can't be assembled the way that it is described. The actual mounting of the HDTV takes some thought as to how high to mount it, choose the appropriate mounting hardware (all enclosed in the box) and in my case have a center fill speaker directly below it and not touch the bottom of the HDTV. Still once assembled, it looks great and is highly functional with very clean lines. The stand does not call attention to itself and simply disappears. This sort of stand is ideal for those who want to get into a home theater system and not rely on whatever the package is within the HDTV.

I have owned a Z-Line TV stand in the past, so knew that Z-Line did a good job with design and construction. But this unit surpassed my previous Z-Line experience. It is superbly designed, the look is great and the glass shelves are study. I don't agree with the reviewer that complained about the glass shelves bowing. I also have a fairly heavy Kenwood Receiver and Wii on one glass shelf and it is doing fine. My only complaint were the 3"x3" labels on the glass shelves. They are NOT easy to remove and had to eventually purchase some Goop Off to remove them. The Piano finish on the black top shelf is exactly that, deep and luxurious looking. The packaging was tight, and I found zero defects in any of the finishes. As for the TV, I have a heavy 50" Panasonic Plasma TV attached, and everything is secure. I highly recommend this Z-Line TV Stand.

Homz Laundry/Seymour Wht Wire Spice Rack 23010201.36 Organizers Storage Kitchen

Homz Laundry/Seymour Wht Wire Spice Rack 23010201.36 Organizers Storage KitchenI chose this rating because, although the price was fair, I was disappointed that the screws and anchors were so small. In my case, they barely went through the drywall. My daughter was helping me put spices on it. She sneezed, and in so doing, jerked her hand a little and one side ripped away from the wall! We had to search around for a screw that would fit the already in place anchor. Good thing my husband has a lot of leftover odds and ends. As far as holding spices, the depth of the rack is good for larger items vanilla extract, larger spices, canisters of pepper... I just wouldn't put all new ones on at the same time!

With spice cabinet space prime realastate, this product nearly doubled my storage space and gives ample room for more exotic spices.

HON Metal Bookcase

HON Metal Bookcase, 3 Shelves, 34-1/2 W by 12-5/8 D by 41 H, BlackI have tons of books. Hundreds. I needed some more space and I didn't want to buy any more particle board Ikea junk such as I have been doing for years. So I splurged on this metal book case. I've seen these things in offices for years and decided I wanted one. I don't regret it. This thing is solid and will last. Metal is definitely superior to wood in this case.

This was for my husband's extra books after we moved. It is sturdy, and is exactly as described. We wanted it for the basement so it is perfectexcept he could use another one! We would order it again.

Yube Cube Modular Furniture System Cube Polyglass Door

Yube Cube Modular Furniture System Cube Polyglass DoorI own 20 of these. They are great with the doors for hiding the clutter in my office. Also the doors keep the dust off your stuff. The doors are clear plxiglass printed with a screen white pattern. You can see through the doors a little, semi opaque, so you can barely make out what is inside. They also sell plexiglass shelves for inside the cube.

Pretty easy to assemble, light weight. The outside panels are heavy off white paper and are clipped on and are removable. You could remove the panels, spray paint them any color or draw or paint on them, then reinstall if you were so inclined. They sell aluminum metal panels but they cost more than the cube.

yubecube.com/

The body is some kind of black plastic made from bamboo. The back panel is the same heavy board as the sides. You add little metal pins to holes in the top then stack another unit on top, pins locking the 2 together. The door hinges are heavy plastic, not sure how long they will hold up. Comes with clips to fasten units together horizontally, but I could not get them to stay on, definitely will not stay on if using doors, prevents doors from opening. I just used black 5/8" drywall screws horizontal to hold units together.

You can find these also at Brookstone or Brookstone on ebay. They were the cheapest when I bought.

I had just a few little parts missing on one order and one defective door. Yubecube customer service was great. I emailed them and they sent out replacements. Did not even ask for proof of purchase.

They are not cheap but there is nothing close out there as far as modular units. Unless you go with the fake wood cubes which are heavy and not as cool looking.
