J.K. Adams 11-Inch-by-11-Inch Maple Wood Universal Spice Jar Carousel

The J.K. Adams Maple Wood Carousel is a nicely made spice rack with a solid turntable. The wood is natural, not stained, and the surfaces that the spices sit on are sanded to a rough finish. The product comes in 4 easy-to-assemble pieces. However, there is nothing keeping the spice rack together once assembled. The flat piece in the center looks like it would make a nice handle, but if you try to pick up the rack by that piece, the top tier and one of the center pieces will come out and the bottom tier and other center piece will remain. The bottom is sturdy, but the top wobbles.

It may be that wood glue would keep the rack together; however, I expected more when I paid this price. I expected that the rack would be sanded, stained, finished and solid. I like the look of the rack, but it is way overpriced. Each tier holds only one row of spices--14 on the bottom and 11 on top, for a total of 25 spices. I like the rack, but J.K. Adams could have done so much better!

This is a beautifully made spice carousel. It looks great on my counter. Very high quality and American made. Would definitely recommend it.

Received item very quickly. Looked just like pictured. Extremely satisfied, especially with the size of the shelves and height of the spacesaver.

I love the completed result of this Spacesaver! It is sturdy and looks great and the nickel finish looks very durable! It was a perfect fit! However, I found the enclosed assembly instructions to be less than helpful. For the most part it took me quite a bit of extra time because I basically had to figure it out myself. Otherwise I am happy with the finished product and I still give it a high recommendation.

Once assembled, this unit looks very nice indeed. Note that it is a little difficult to assemble -and I've built a lot of furniture over the years -but once you've got it together, it's quite sturdy and looks great. Its appearance certainly belies the price. I am impressed, and very pleased with it.

Looks great in home office as storage, perfect fit for what we needed. Shelf on top holds our Bluetooth speaker great, or a plant or whatever. Finished product looks exactly like pic, and very fashionable and functional. Perfect height and a lot of storage.

Only draw back? A bit HARD to assemble at one critical junction. Everything went fine except for when TRYING to get the cheap thin dark stained ply-board backing on correctly. OK.. let me tell you there were some expletives, sweat and tears being thrown out that day. THAT was the only hard thing, but it was the one thing that tied it all together. So not like you could skip it. What went wrong? Well, the tracks/grooves for the 2 back pieces were not deep, and the pieces ALWAYS popped out JUST when you think you had it together, then had to UNDO everything I did, to get it BACK in the track. Then the vicious cycle would start all over again.

BUT.. once we got past that hurtle (I want to say we did a little improv with a drill and some mini screws) to help us along the way, it is a great piece of furniture.

Would I buy another... YES.

Now, for those folks who want a solid hardwood heirloom quality item, remember, this is what it is, and for under 200 bucks, it was a good deal. If you want something super solid and built to last for generations, go to a furniture store and pay $1000 $3000. I wanted something that LOOKED expensive but was affordable and served a big purpose. We use this every day and it looks great. Assembly could have been better, but guess I got my workout in on that fateful day ;-)

This is a nice little shelf if you need a bit of extra storage space. First off, this is definitely a "discount" furniture item. It looks nice & isn't something you'll want to hide, but it is relatively cheaply made. Of course, for under $200 it is exactly what I was expecting, so just be aware of what quality you should expect before buying. If you want nice solid wood that will last, go to a furniture store & be prepared to spend $1000 or more. This is much more along the lines of a cheaper IKEA flat-pack item which will last if you don't abuse it, but is by no means a solid piece of furniture.

Assembly was a bit of a hassle (as others have noted), especially the back pieces. I attempted to do this as a 1-man job and was ultimately successful, but having a second person around to hold things stable while you screw all the pieces together is definitely recommended. Other than those back pieces, most of the parts went together easily & it hasn't shown any signs of instability.

The wicker baskets look nice, but I didn't find them very useful when used with the shelf. Using them cuts down on the total storage space available on the shelves (except for the large one shown on the bottom in the picture, which we still use), and they are kind of scratchy which could leave marks in the wood & scratch off the finish. They do, however, make excellent storage bins, so they now sit in a closet to hold things that were previously scattered on the floor.

Lastly, this has the benefit of being part of a cheap collection, so if you do like it & you want to match new furniture purchases to it, there are several other items that would complement it (most of them linked from the product page).

This item was delivered the 1st time broken. It comes in 3 packages. It took me like 2 hours to put together. The shelves and the whole unit is really made of a thin ply board. I would never order from this collection again. The craftsmanship for the price is just not there. I would of rather spend more money for better quality. You just can't set something really heavy on the shelf, it probably would collapse. Was very difficult to put together. U have to use a key to put the screws in. It will serve its purpose for me but I would not recommend anyone buy this junk.

For $145 I wasn't expecting a high quality, 'last forever,' product but I was expecting something fairly decent. Sitting in my kitchen now, it doesn't look bad but up close, you'll see the issues. First, it was missing screws, Wayfair did reply to me the following day saying that were shipping them out but none the less, still a pain. I managed to buy my own screws that matched the requirements so I could get it put together. The directions are a mess. It looks like directions for several different carts that are close enough for them to just send on packet but the directions don't always match, the pieces are mislabeled, sometimes it says to do things that you can't do and doesn't tell you to do things you need to do, pilot holes for the products are not always finished or long enough which cause several pieces to crack and split trying to get the screw flush, and finally, the hinges for the doors are bent causing the doors to hang and not close properly. First time ordering from Wayfair "CSN" and do not plan on ordering from them again due to this over prices piece of crap furniture. My appliances need a home in my new tiny kitchen otherwise I would've returned it. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING TO ANYONE!

This is such a great solution to having NO PLACE in a tiny guest bath to put a few towels for company! It looks great and fits well in any decor. The finish looks great and I think it will hide fingerprints well. These is plenty of room on the bar to hang a big wet towel to dry out. I am going to get two of the matching robe hooks to put on either side, one to hang a robe and one to hang an overnight toiletry bag -then the counter can be clear for guests getting ready in the morning.

HANGING TIP:

Put the towel rack on the table and tear off pieces of painters tape that are the distance between the mounting posts. Take these tapes and put them on the wall where you want to hang it, use a level to make sure they are strait. THEN drill your holes using the tapes as a guide and hang without having to ever try to measure with a pencil while holding up the towel rack! SO MUCH EASIER :D

I almost returned this shelf/towel rack as our contractor and my husband said it was "bent"...if you hold it from outside the tub instead of placing it on the wall by standing right in front of it, it will appear bent and as though the supports are not flush on the wall. They both did it several times and I almost returned it and then I asked my husband to stand in the tub and put it against the wall and get a level to see if it was straight and it was! It was weird. I stood back to admire our work and thought "This is one quality unit". The duty part of the heavy-duty was next proven as the boys immediately employed the rolling shelf as an indoor trolley car. They run that thing all through the house, taking turns pushing. The hanging bar made for a prefect passenger handhold as the boys stepped on an off in the dining room. They loaded the shelves with books, pillows and the cat. Nearly knocked over Mom during a kitchen stop where they hung as many pots and pans on the hooks they could get a hold of.

Five stars all the way, baby!! This thing is the best Amazon deal ever. Incredibly, I find it selling for more than twice what I paid. My second one is on the way. I can't wait for the next thud.

I will admit it: I was terrified. My sister had a very nice (but also very expensive) closet of shelves, racks and cabinets installed earlier this year and I was worried that my closet would never be as nice as hers.

I bought this garment rack based on the reviews and I was so happy with it that I wanted to write a review myself.

I bought a cheaper garment rack at Bed Bath and Beyond a few weeks ago. It was a piece of junk. Several of the pieces didn't line up correctly during the assembly and as soon as I hung one coat on it, it started leaning. I was so annoyed that I wrote a scathing review of it on the BBB site. I didn't want anyone else to fall for it like I did. I searched on several sites for a better quality garment rack and somehow found this one on Amazon. It was twice the price but it looked like exactly what I needed and all of the reviews were positive.

As soon as it got delivered today I set out to assemble it and get rid of the BBB rack. Can I tell you how refreshing it is to assemble a solid piece of furniture and have everything line up and click into place like its supposed to? I had no issues with the assembly and the final product is solid, stable and perfect for the space I needed it. It is a tall piece, but I have 12-ft. ceilings in my loft so that was not an issue for me.

I wish every thing I've ever had to assemble at home went as smoothly as this piece. Don't waste time with cheaper priced garment racks. Just order this one from the start and save yourself lots of frustration.

I just got this, to use as a fireplace mantel, and just today, sprayed it black. It will look great, with the crown molding, and match my fireplace. The wood was so nice looking, almost wanted to stain it, which I suppose anyone can do very easily. Another great product!!! I don't anticipate any problem mounting this, as all of the products so far, have easy assembly, and good instructions.

I ordered the unfinished shelves because I planned to paint them to match my customer's trim color. The quality of the wood was less than satisfactory as it had many defects and required extensive sanding. The corners weren't tight, etc. I wish I had ordered finished white ones, a light sand of them and a coat of primer and paint would have been a much better decision and would have given a much better result. However, the bracket installation design is quite satisfactory. I hung them on a brick wall and the install went very smoothly.

These look very nice and hold their rated load (mine are in the wood studs not just anchors). Do recommend purchasing better screws as the provided ones are a bit on the cheap side. Overall very pleased with the product, also not a bad price. Purchased two sets to mirror the shelves in our living room.

Umbra Birdseye Steel Wall Hooks, Black

I liked the look of this wall mounted coat hook. It's actually sturdier than it looks in the picture, which was certainly a plus. It's also attractive. The birds are unique and look good enough that even when the rack is empty, it's still nice looking.

It has two hooks and two knobs for hanging things. Really, this can only fit two coats, unless they're lightweight jackets. The hooks are wide, and a little shallow, so it can make hanging bulkier coats a bit difficult unless your coat has one of those tabs inside the collar for hanging, and it's wide enough to fit over the hook. I was hoping to be able to fit coats and hats on it, but hats don't stay on the hooks or knobs very well if there's more than one coat.

I'd recommend this for light jackets, scarves, kid's jackets, and other small things. For bulkier, heavy coats and hats, I'd recommend getting something bigger that can hold them more easily.

Got my birdseye hook and it s very nice sturdy metal and is as pictured. The only thing I didn't realize from the picture is that in order to mount it you do not hang it on nails the two end "knobs" of this piece are actually screws that need to go into your wall at about 3/4". This does come with what I think are dry-wall mounting pieces. Just thought folks should be aware.

Since the unit is not wide enough to span wall studs, they've helpfully included two sheetrock anchors. Unfortunately, they are not very high quality and bent out of shape as I tried to put them in! Luckily we had a few heavy-duty anchors left over from another project that fit.

Very nice, unique style, priced well. It is not designed to be a foyer coat rack but that is how I will use it. The holes are not spaced to permit installation into studs, therefore if a heavy coat pulls it off the wall, I will adjust the installation.

This is what I expected, not a great quality product but worth the price you pay. When I received the shipment it was not packed very well so one of the shelves had a bend in the metal but I hammered that out and started putting it together. I use this one in my bedroom for storage of boxes. It works perfectly for me, it is a little short but for me that was perfect because the area I was putting it in didn't have a large amount of space from floor to ceiling. If you are looking for a cheaper but yet sturdy shelving unit then I would recommend this. The shipping was very speedy and I received it in a very timely fashion.

This was one of the more disappointing purchases I have made in a long time. The "Satin Nickel" finish is realy just grey paint. We could live with that, however, when we installed it in our bath/tub shower combination guest bathroom the pole bowed and was very wobbly. I tried several measuers to reduce the wobblyness and was getting ready to try gluing the poles together when I decided to check out the reviews (we bought this at Home Depot). The reviews of the other version of this are terrible. I then found a stainless steel model from simplehuman and ordered it after seeing the 13 5 star ratings and nothing less. The 5 year warranty is incredible. I prefer to spend the money now instead of every 2 years.

I find that I have to replace my corner shower shelves about every two years as they get rusty. This is the first chrome one I've purchased and I was eager to install it. It looks really nice and is quite easy to assemble, but I am perpetually annoyed when I set things on it. The shelves tilt downward ever so slightly, so half the time when I set a shampoo bottle on one of them it comes tumbling off. It looks like I am stuck with this for the next two years.

I'm not sure if the reviews here are about this same product!?? I found the instructions to be well written, assembly relatively simple, poles and shelves nicely chrome finished and far more sturdy than I ever expected. I admit it would probably be wobbly if it was freestanding. But in this case it's right in the back corner of the tub , which I am assuming is exactly where it was designed to be placed and we've got it loaded up with 18 bottles of product, several of which are nearly full, weighing in at a whopping 20-32ounces, each. Although the instructions recommend carefully cutting off of the shortest pole in one inch increments as per a chart . . . I lazily opted out and completely omitted one of the pole sections to fit the lower ceiling in this particular bathroom. I truly expect this thing to last for years to come! I am storing the extra piece in the linen closet with the assumption that in the event of a move, this caddy is coming with me. I do gladly recommend this product!

I bought this item from a seller on Amazon, they failed to ship so Amazon directly and quickly handled the situation with sending me one that shipped directly from Amazon. I had a white one that lasted a year and rusted and began to look horrible. This replacement caddy is nice for the money. I can see it lasting for a longer period of time. The finish is nice as are the shelves. I am extremely pleased with this item and Amazon for their quick efforts to please their customers.

I found this pole caddy easy to assemble, I didn't even need to read the instructions. The caddy fit between my tub ledge and ceiling using the two long poles.

The pole caddy did bow a little when I first tried to install it, but by pushing the caddy fully into the corner and making sure the spring-loaded top section was lined up correctly with the bottom of the pole, the bowing was corrected.

Some reviews mentioned that the shelves lean forward, the shelves on my caddy are level. I was able to fill the shelves with the multitude of hair-care products that my daughters use.

This pole caddy feels flimsy compared to the unit it replaced, but for $20 it was a better solution than trying to remove the rust from my old pole caddy.

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the other reviews, but I don't find the unit either "weak or skimpy" in construction. It isn't designed to hold multiple pounds of canned goods or anything, it is for lighter weight items that take up space in your cupboard, like noodles, split peas, boxed dinners, and yes; even Ramen noodles (I still like the dang things even if I am in my 60s).

With those out of your cupboard, there is room in there for the "heavy" stuff, which is where it should be really. In an apartment like mine there is a small pantry (four shelves) in addition to the normal cupboards in the kitchen, but I have to use the little pantry for both extra grocery items and all my towels and linens, paper goods, first aid stuff and laundry supplies.

As to those who had difficulty attaching the unit to the door, I can only assume you used a power screw driver or something. I drilled out small pilot holes, and very carefully attached the wood screws by hand taking care not to "strip" the thin holes in the wood. No biggie, and it is anchored quite nicely.

I gave the unit a five star rating since it does what it says it will, and if the new owner takes a bit of time to "puzzle out" the problems others had, it fulfills its design for creating a bit more "extra" shelf space in small apartments and such.

Not much to say here. This items seems like it would be a little flimsy, but after installing and loading with stuff, it's well made, easy to build (took about 10 minutes) and is solid! For the price, I don't there there is a better one out there. Sure, you can spend $100 + and do one of the custom build ones, but who want's to do that!! :)

I purchased this item to use as a holder for gift wrap and ribbons in my upstairs closet. It works well for what I intended though I would prefer it be one section rather than two. The lower part tends to swing when the door is opened, causing the contents to tumble out. In fairness, it was not meant for gift wrap so I can't really complain, and it could be stabilized by attaching to the door with screws but I prefer not to damage the door that way. I use the upper (smaller) shelves for rolls of ribbon, and I turned one of the baskets upside down at a height that would accommodate rolls of wrapping paper. The only drawback (and the reason some fall out) is the varying width of the rolls I could only lower it to the standing height of the tallest one. Still, it makes a great space saver as I was able to get rid of the boxes on the floor that were holding all of this. I imagine it would be an excellent space saver in the pantry (as intended) or even a closet to hold small items such as kids' shoes, adults' belts, ties, jewelry boxes, etc. Definitely a must have.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little skeptical to buy, but I needed somethng less than 19" wide to fit in my RV. When it arrived I realized what others were saying about the back being in two separate pieces and how it could swing and sway when opening the door. The baskets are adjustable so you can put them anywhere you'd like. I decided to hang one basket right in the center where the two back parts connect and it really did the trick to keep things secure. The box did come with screws, but I did not want to damage my door. All I did what was put 2 pieces of double sided sticky tape at the bottom corners and is perfect! The shelves though are not meant for heavy items. I use it for spices, popcorn, baggies, tin foil, etc. I am glad I bought it.

This rack is well made and sturdy. It swayed when first hung up, but added a couple of anchors at the bottom corners, so that's no longer an issue. It's perfect for storing all of my baking supplies.

Melannco Espresso Single 24-Inch Ledge

This shelf works great to hold minimal things. I used this shelf to go over my toilet. Since I needed it to be perfectly centered, I wasn't able to put it into a wall stud. The shelf comes with drywall anchors, however I just have two candles sitting on this shelf and it holds it no problem. I put a bowl with stuff on it at first, but it started to sag from the wall. If you don't want to put a lot of stuff on this shelf and need it more for decoration, I would recommend this product. If you want it to hold your encyclopedias, get something else.

I was excited to buy this shelf as I am starting my own massage practice and purchased several different floating shelf units to create a fun space. The edge of the shelf pulled off when pulling it out of the box. The opposite side has some sort of distress marks as well. I paid $20 and am sad I bought this sad little shelf. I do not recommend this shelf to anyone. It is so light, I wouldn't even know what to put on it.

These are better than I expected! The look exactly like the picture and are the perfect length. The finish is even and the hardware was super easy to install, but also very sturdy. I have several heavy picture frames and trinkets and these shelves hold them perfectly. The Espresso stain matches my Espresso furniture to a "T". I am very please with this purchase and would absolutely buy these again if needed.

I ordered 2. One received in great condition, the second cracked on both ends. As always, things never go as expected. Fortunately, after installing the good one in my bathroom just above my toilet, I realized a single ledge looked great. So in the end, I really didn't need the second one. Amazon cheerfully refunded my money for the broken ledge and I'm happy with my purchase.

I gave it 3 stars because of the product quality of the second ledge; otherwise, i'd give it 4 stars. 5 stars if it was easier to install.

I bought the 9 cube product in the espresso finish and liked it so much I got the 6 cube piece too (in espresso and white). Lots of storage with a small footprint, the espresso finish works well with the transitional style of my home, and the white is perfect for a closet in my bedroom.

Assembly: I usually am terrified of assembling these kind of things and leave it for my fiance to do, but wanted to have this done when he got home from work. All said I think it took me an hour to put together all three units. It wasn't difficult at all, all the pieces were there, and after putting together several of these now I have never had issue with the holes being drilled incorrectly.

Minor issues: The backs of the cubes are laminated cardboard with a lot of nails, and if you aren't very careful to get them in straight they will damage the finish (one nail out of 120 I used no joke, it is a LOT of nails) did go crooked and poked through the laminate Two boards out of the 30 I have pulled out of the boxes have had minor scratches, but nothing too unsightly. The plastic screw covers they include are kind of lame the screws don't sit deep enough for the caps to be flush.

Overall, this appears to be a nice organizational tool for the money!

This is exactly what I was looking for! I've had it for about a week and so far it's doing great! I put it together in under an hour while watching TV. I accidentally put one of the small dowels in the wrong place but was able to get it out with a pair of pliers without damaging it. I opted not to put on the back panels and I like the way it looks!

The very first screw I put in stripped out the particle board. All other screws were not snugged down at all to keep from turning this into a pile of useless sawdust.. The screws have a 1/16" head that protrudes above the surface, so the plastic caps are 1/16" over the surface. You cannot tighten the screws down to fix this because particle board crap. I wish I had seen this order before my wife had placed it.

Also, note you should not expect to lay this on its side due to the way it is constructed. If on its side, the shelves are only supported by wooden pins 1/4" thick. It is engineered to be vertical and not horizontal.

I ordered this as a bookcase for a home office, and I'm very pleased with it. Although another ClosetMaid product had confusing assembly instructions, this was very easy to assemble. Contact Paper, 18" x 24' Water Dance

Fist time user of contact paper for shelves and this worked out very nice. Very user friendly. The only thing I was disappointed in was to find the same product for half the cost at Home Depot. That really bursted my bubble of thinking I got a great price.

Great Paper. I'm no contact paper expert but this was not difficult to use. The color is accurate and if you are doing a large area, you don't have to worry about matching up anything. It all blends in. It's also a good thickness. 5 Stars from me. I bought one roll and then came back for a second.

I used the contact paper inside my brand new dark wood cabinets and it looked great. It was fairly easy to put on even in the corner lazy susan shelving. The paper is easy to wipe down and removal did not leave any markings.
