The dimensions on this item description are completely wrong. It's actually 24" W x 36" H x 11" D.I'm very disappointed in this item, because I chose it specifically because the listed dimensions fit perfectly in the space I picked out for it. Now I'm stuck with a cabinet which is way too small.

Floating U Shelf (Set of 3)
I ordered these shelves for our store to store coffee mugs, etc. Since the coffee area is in view of customers I wanted something a little jazzier than the usual shelf system and that's exactly what these are! They are sturdy and functional easy to mount (be sure to use a level so both ends are even!), and I love that you can arrange them however you want. We had a limited space but were still able to arrange the shelves so that they look really snappy. I am very impressed, would definitely buy these again!

Taymor 20-Inch Polished Nickel Paris Towel Shelf
I had invisioned it being a bit larger, but I am pleased with the quality. Mounting was a bit tricky because of the location of the screw holes in relation to the decorative tips on the top shelf bars. But it is so pretty! Happy to have made the purchase.

This shelf is definitely NOT similar to those selling for $170 to $250 -don't kid yourself. The decorative sides are barely 1/8" thick. Some of the caps that screw onto the ends of the cross rods were stripped and I was unable to assemble these completely. This is an inferior product worth only the $49 you see it priced at -but only if you can get it to stay together.The cross rods are hollow -no problem there. But only the very ends are threaded on the inside. A small 1-1/2" long all-thread stud is used to attach the rod ends to the decorative ball caps you see pictured. These are of poor design, with their internal threading created by a very shallow "nut" on the inside of the ball (near its head). That means the ball has barely enough room to grip the all-thread stud. It seemed to me that if you torque the ball end just a tad too much, it's ability to grip that stud is finished.
The packages arrived (I bought three) with some of the ball ends laying in the bottom of the bag. They don't even survive the journey! Several pop right off.

I ordered two of these. It's not exactly a small item to be shipped or moved around.Of the two, the first box I opened didn't have the top 4 poles. I called Alera and they said that I'd have to return it because they couldn't ship me 4 poles. If they were screws there would not have been a problem. I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent me a replacement with one day shipping. Great experience. I had it delivered by UPS and had them pick up the defective unit. It made my life easier.
On with the product, quick and easy to build once you figure out how you want to space out the shelves. Just screw in the poles, snap in the plastic wraps based on the height you want and you are set.
Sturdy and spacious allowing me to organize my garage much better.
Got these in two days with Amazon Prime and they have really transformed our kitchen. We no longer are searching for places to put things.
One word of caution, if you order the "2x Alera SW590004 Caster Kit For Wire Shelving, Gray, Four per Set," please get yourself a 3/4X48 wooden dowel. Installation is near impossible without one and bone-dead simple with one.

Two of these heavy duty large shelving units have done wonders organizing the garage. The shelves come with leveling feet and are easy to assemble, but it did take two people to slide the shelves on because they are large and have to be lowered gradually and evenly on both ends. I would like an additional shelf or two but didn't purchase because of the cost. I have several metal shelving units throughout the house, but this Alera unit is definitely the most heavy duty. These are high quality: the steel is heavy gauge and the finish is smooth. The two foot deep shelves are good for storing a large ice chest, for patio furniture cushions, 40-lb sacks of bird seed and large bags of potting soil. These bags can sit across the 24" inch depth, so they don't have to be sideways which would take up too much space on the shelves.Update: When I contacted Alera and explained my situation they immediately sent out replacement parts no questions ask. For this reason I have moved my rating from one to four stars. I would prefer 3 1/2. Anyway they were so courteous and professional that I have let go of me previous frustrations. This is a good product I just was not willing to settle for defective pieces and now that I have everything the way it should be I am happy.These shelves are very nice when constructed properly. I purchased 4 however I received one that was bent and cracked on one of the critical welds. I sent it back and received another bent in the same general way. I sent that one back and again received another one bent, in several places this time. I have spent an enormous amount of time sending, and receiving these shelves. I am not pleased. They were obviously that way from the factory because the box was fine. I am going to contact Alera directly and request that they send me an undamaged shelf so I can put it together and be done with this. I will post their response.

This shelf matches the satin nickel fixtures and light plates and knobs, etc. It really brings a modern look to the bathroom.It comes with a template that you hang on your wall and it shows you exactly where to drill your holes. That makes hanging the shelf very simple.
I got this particular shelf, because of the rail. I wanted to make sure nothing was falling off of the shelf. The rail is very useful and attractive, too.

I bought two of these. One came with a stencil in the directions for drilling the holes and the other didn't. Weird. Once I remembered the reviews on here and told my boyfriend that he had to ignore the instructions they went up without a hitch. If you rely on the directions instead of good, old-fashioned common sense, these things will drive you bonkers.I spray painted the chrome with a clear rust proof lacquer and put them in my shower. They won't get wet directly, but the moisture and steam could still rust them, so hopefully this will work. So far, they are holding shampoo bottles just fine and they are not loose.
They are good shelves, but I had to take off a star for the directions. Seriously, it would have been better if they showed up without directions, they were that bad.

Giving this a four star rating only because of issues with the packaging. The stand itself is beautiful, and for the price, I'm really surprised at how nice it is. It's exactly what we wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. BUT, the packaging is completely inappropriate for the weight of an item like this. A couple of sections were damaged when we unpacked it. Fortunately, my husband is completely able to make this type of repair, and did, but if you don't happen to have someone near by who can fix and cosmetically hide small dings/dents/gouges, etc., then you would probably end up sending this back.It's such a good product that I'd hope the manufacturer would take a little more care with the packaging.

This might be a great product. I don't know. None of the parts are labeled and the assembly directions are terrible. The directions are a pamphlet with line drawings showing how parts go together step by step. With a 50/50 chance of getting the parts put together properly I didn't! When I was done and found that the shelves didn't fit, I called the manufacturer. After describing the problem, the person told me it sounds as though I had two parts backward. Not the first customer to call with the same problem. Customer service was very pleasant and told me they would ship replacement parts. This TV stand is modern and beautiful and that is what I am basing my review on. If I were to base it on the packaging itself and the delivery it would get no stars!!!I'm truly amazed it arrived here in one piece across Canada to Knoxville TN and isn't ruined with such poor protection. I would think Sonax would invest more into that so things don't have to be returned or replaced. They were a couple nicks that luckily were fixable with a black sharpie.
Also shame on UPS for their treatment of this package!!!! I was shocked everything wasn't broken as there were work boot tracks from one end to the other, obviously it had been walked on by a grown man as the tracks were complete from toe to heel. I took pictures of the footprints before I even opened the package expecting to have to return it. I love Amazon and shop from them on a regular basis and this is by far the worst package I have ever received!!! Although not the fault of Amazon.
As for the TV stand, it looks awesome! It was extremely easy to put together. I am a 40 year old female with a broken foot and managed by myself. I do suggest help as the glass is heavy but it is possible alone. I bought this for a 55" flat screen that has been sitting on my floor unopened for a week. I am excited to gets things set up but I was so furious by the packaging I wanted to write this review before I finished the set up. If you live close to where Sonax is located I highly suggest a purchase from them. Until they invest a little more money in packaging you are taking a gamble it arrives safely. As for UPS I deal with them everyday at my job and this is the first time I am very disappointed by their service.
